The weekend we are waiting for has arrived. Haku and I are going to Sea Paradise in Yokohama. We took the train to Yokohama Station. From Yokohama change trains Kyeiku main Line to Kanazawa-Hakkei Station about 20 minutes. Then we take the Kanazawa Seaside Line train and get off at Hakkeijima station and take about 7 minutes trip.
And finally we're at Sea Paradise. Actually the trip does not take much time, it's just that we often change trains.
Yokohama Hakeijima Sea Paradise is an amusement park located in Kanazawa-ku, a small island off the coast of Yokohama. To get here, Haku and I took the train about 30 minutes from downtown Yokohama.
Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is one of the most visited amusement parks in Japan with the main attraction of a magnificent sea water aquarium. Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise has the attraction of aquariums, malls, hotels, ports, and also other games. So many attractions provided make us not enough to visit it once! That's so cool!
We can also see the view of the shady sea, shop at the shops or eat at the restaurants available. A perfect place to vacation and take a break from the rush.
There are more than 500 species of fish with a total of 100,000 collections in one magnificent aquarium. Believe that! It is like being in one of the largest aquariums in Japan. Enjoying a three-story aquarium with thousands of tropical and fresh water fish makes us feel like we are underwater.
Aqua Resorts consists of Aqua Museum, Dolphin Fantasy and Fureai Lagoon. The Aqua Museum is a conventional aquarium where visitors can see sea lions, dolphins, sea lions, seals, polar bears, whale sharks, giant turtles, and other animals, sea otters and many other sea creatures. There is also a typical show that entertains the visitors with adorable animal action.
Located in a separate building next to the Aqua Museum, Dolphin Fantasy features a large arch-shaped swimming pool. Visitors can walk through the tunnel that surrounds the pool while seeing dolphins, stingrays and other fish. We can also swim in the pool around them.
The Fureai Lagoon is another aquarium complex where visitors can interact and touch some marine animals. We can also enter the aquarium, then feed or swim with marine animals.
Sugoi! It's really cool and amazing! And this is the first time Haku and I have come here. The fish swim all over this bluish place. It was like I was in his world.
I watched the fish swimming in there. Then I saw a clown fish like the one in Finding Nemo swimming by my side.
"I'm! Look, there's a Nemo fish!" I said excitedly while holding the glass of the aquariuam.
Haku smiled widely and let out a slight sound and immediately approached beside me. He pointed at the blue fish beside him.
"Then this one is Dory's fish" he said balancing his jokes with me. And I laughed a little at it.
Then we look at each other and our eyes sparkle with each other. The clownfish began to move its fins as if amused and embarrassed to watch us.
I put both my hands on the glass and smiled broadly at the fish.
"I'm so jealous of them. Their lives look so simple." I muttered, still staring at the fish. Simple life, beautiful, comfortable, quiet, even everything is guaranteed here.
"Hc ... Wherever there is life. There will also be complications." said Haku who was still standing beside me looking at the small fish.
For a moment I tilted my face and looked at her calm smiling face faintly staring into the aquarium. Even though he was smiling yet it felt like his words sounded a bit pitiful.
"Why are you thinking like that, Yuko?" haku said softly and slightly tilted his head at me. "Look ... No matter how big the aquarium and tank here even looks so realistic all the decorations. But this is still like a prison for them compared to the vast ocean" he continued with his slightly moody appearance.
"If it were me ... Sealed inside and seen and watched by humans. Then I'll hate him!" said slowly. "Understanding and sympathy are not the same. No one can be truly moral. They just do their best, and they can." he continued, still with a moody expression.
"Hc ... You're right, Haku." I nodded slowly and still looked at Haku from the side. His eyes seemed to show a hint of pity, but they suddenly disappeared instantly. Then she smiled warmly again and leaned one of her arms over my shoulder.
"Let's go and check out the next zone in front." he invited her with his trademark smile.
"Hhm .." I smiled broadly.
Haku clasped my finger and began to circle me in the next zone, where the fish were slightly larger in size.
One of the fish was separated from the other fish and. His teeth looked as sharp as knives. The fish is black and there is a white pattern. I looked at the fish with a slight look of fear.
"What is that, Haku?" I asked who was still watching the fish swimming behind the tank.
"It was the Pope of Orca. A very cruel killer. He was placed alone because if placed with other fish, then the other fish will only be the prey." said Haku while staring at the Orca fish with a serious but warm look.
"Pope Orca is at the top of the food chain in the world's oceans" Haku continued with a still-similar expression.
"The top of the food chain in the world's oceans?" I said a little round my eyes looking at the Orca Whale swimming beside me. I don't know why my hair immediately became goosebumps. And I spontaneously hugged Haku's arm. I can't imagine if these tanks suddenly broke and disintegrated. Oh My!
Seeing my behavior Haku glanced at me and slightly smiled amusedly. "The glass is quite thick and very safe. So, don't be afraid ..."
"Eh .." I said while slightly grinning in embarrassment.
"It is rare to see Orcas, as they live in the dark sea. The dark sea is home to all fierce predators" Haku explained to me.
"Hc ... You know it a lot yeah .." I looked at Haku in awe.
"It's just a little" he said slowly. Then we both fell silent looking at the Orca.
