And of course there will be some festivals that will be very awesome in the autumn. Like the Shimogamo autumn festival in Kyoto, the Sawara-No-Taisai Masturi autumn festival in Ciba, Ueno Teijin Masturi, Kurama fireworks festival, Shirotori garden Auntumn Festival, and many more.
In autumn, the leaves will begin to change color to reddish, orange, or yellow before finally falling off. The process of changing the color of the leaves is given the term koyo, or better known as momiji. This Momiji will create a colorful scenery that is very beautiful and very soothing. Many locations in Japan have incredible views of autumn foliage including Nagano prefecture, Takao mountain in Tokyo, Hachimantai mountain in Tohoku, or any temple and garden location.
It will not be long for these leaves to fall and winter will come to remove them, so momiji is a good thing to visit and watch if we go to Japan in October or November.
