An Unexpected Reality

I walked my feet cheerfully and like I was dancing towards the main gate of Todai campus. Wh why? Yeap, the answer is very simple. Because I'm going to meet Haku back.

Haku is waiting for me in front of the campus. I saw a soft yellow sports car parked across the street. Soon the driver's window opened. A man with a shining face smiled at me and waved his hand.

I smiled and waved to him too. Excitedly I immediately sauntered and intended to approach him immediately. But how careless I am. Without me realizing it suddenly from the left direction drove a siver car quite fast.

I was very surprised and could no longer do anything. Even running cannot be surprised. My legs felt like they were freezing and became so heavy.

"Yuko!!" shouted a man suddenly who then grabbed my hand and twisted his body to protect me. But we can't avoid that car.

The car stopped just about a meter away from me and the man who pulled me. I looked up and looked at the man it turned out he was Ran.

"Are you okay, Yuko?" tanya Ran was so worried.

"I'm fine, Ran. Thank you .." I said still so pounding because of the incident.

"Thank God you're okay .." said Ran so relieved.

"Hc. I'm okay." I replied.

Some time finally a man in neat clothes came down from the car that almost hit me earlier.

"sorry. Are you guys all right? I'm in a hurry .. sorry." said the man kindly.

"We're doing fine. I also apologize for being less careful when crossing." I said while bowing my body.

"If anything happens to be seriously hurt just call me." the man reached into his wallet and gave me a business card.

"Oh. Yes ... thank you." I replied while receiving the business card.

"alright. Then excuse me .." said the man politely and then immediately turned and sauntered back into his car.

After the car drove off I realized there was something the man dropped. I picked it up and it turned out to be a ring box. When I tried to call him back, it turned out that the car was far enough.

"Save it first. Later you can call him and give him back, Yuko." Ran gave me advice. And finally I put the ring box in my slingbag.

A few moments later Haku has come to us and looks so worried. He still wears full formal clothing.

"Yuko!!" Haku grabbed both my shoulders and looked so worried. "You okay?"

"Hc. I'm fine." I smiled and nodded slowly.

"Please next time be more careful .. I'm very worried" said Haku who looked so sad.

"I'm sorry .. I was so careless."

Gently Haku rubbed my head, "Not so. At least next time you should be more careful."

"Hc. I promise I'll be more careful."

Haku smiled and rubbed my head again. While Ran looks so confused looking at the two of us.

"My ... Yuko ... What exactly is the relationship between the two of you?" tanya Ran was so confused. "Didn't Haku have a lover and get married soon?"

Me and Haku smiled at Ran's words. Now Haku immediately grabbed my left fingers and held them in front of Ran.

"Yes. I already have a boyfriend and I'm getting married, Ran. And the girl I'm going to marry is Yuko .." replied Haku at last.

Ran was very surprised after hearing the remark from Haku. Even he looks so incredulous.

"You must be kidding, right? I know Haku's girlfriend is also in college at Today as well. But it's not Yuko, is it? Because all this time I never looked closely at the campus." now Ran looks at me and Haku alternately and still looks so confused.

Haku laughed crisply this time, "Of course you won't see me with Yuko while on campus. Because Yuko always takes the morning lecture hours. While I always take the afternoon lecture hours. So we're never together again on campus."

"Can I help you, sir?" ask a boutique employee kindly.

"I and my fiancee want to do our wedding dress fittings" replied Haku who was no less friendly.

"alright. Please wait a minute, sir. I'll check and get her clothes first" the employee said, then resigned.
