My Little Prince's

My Little Prince's
The Bond of the Past

"I like you."

The man sitting on the wheelchair smiled faintly. She took a deep breath while thinking of the right answer for a girl who had dared to reveal her heart.

The girl who brought a flower to give to the man looked down.

He did not expect anything after revealing his heart. He realized that the two of them were much different.

The girl did not expect a rejection or acceptance by the male figure that had long been kept in her heart.

"Thank you for making me the person you like." The man still smiles.

"However, for now you still have to focus on yourself. I am also in recovery phase. You're so young, you can still dig into your potential and have a brilliant career."

Masson lowered his head, clasping the hand of the girl kneeling before him.

Rubby's face showed a bit of disappointment. But the girl immediately put on her smile.

"I'm relieved, thanks for your response."

"I hope, after this we won't become like strangers." "thank you. "

Masson nodded, taking off his grip as Rubby moved on.

"Either. Don't feel bad, we'll meet again in this place someday."

"Sure, see you." Rubby waved his hand at Masson. He then got into the car that was waiting for him.

His heart was a little disappointed, but he tried not to think too much about it.

After several months of working with Masson, Rubby was finally able to break his contract because his job was done. Masson has been able to walk far enough though sometimes the man still needs help. Masson's health condition has also improved.

Rubby smiled as he looked at a box Masson gave him last night. A little memory of their separation.

The girl sighed while opening the box. He picked up a small object that was inside the box. Staring at him with a full smile engraved on his face.

"Thank you for being with me during my illness. You're the best."

Rubby blushed shyly reading a piece of paper tucked inside the box.

The disappointment in his heart was gone. He felt relieved a second time, apart from having already revealed what he had been craving, also because the feeling was wisely reciprocated by that person.

The girl put her ring back in the box. He kept it very carefully.

He did not know when they would meet again. They might not even meet someday. However, Rubby believes that everything will taste sweet.

Along the way, Rubby just smiled shyly mixed with pleasure.

The driver turned his head towards Rubby, throwing a smile at the girl sitting in the passenger seat.

"Miss, we have to refuel the car first." Said the man kindly.

"certain."

The man got out of the car. He refueled the car before continuing their journey.

Rubby looked out the window, he frowned when he saw the light flashing from a distance. For him it looks suspicious because it is near a dark forest area. With deep curiosity, Rubby got out of the car. Tell the driver if he wants to go for a walk to the forest for a while.

He stepped in there, the longer the girl the more she walked into the forest following the flashing light.

Rubby heard the laughter of some of the people who were there. They seemed to be hunters looking for prey.

Slowly the girl approached, wanting to hear the conversation of those suspicious-looking people.

Everyone there is aware of Rubby's arrival. They smiled and moved out of the chair.

Rubby swallowed his saliva as he walked back slowly. The girl smiled bitterly as one of them raised their voice.

"Well, come and join us, 4.5R…"

"Sammuel, good morning young man. Let's get up, wash our faces, change your clothes and go get some exercise."

"Samm come on, son."

Masson pulled the boy's blanket, he let out a rough breath. Again Samm refused to wake up to go sports.

Somehow Rubby woke up their son. Masson still has a lot to learn to get used to Samm just the two of them.

The man rubbed his son's hair and left Samm's room. Allowing the boy to sleep.

He chose the morning walk alone again.

Masson smiled when he saw an elderly woman in sports. The woman returned Masson's smile kindly.

"Good morning son of Nizcholn. "

"Everything is good, haha.."

Masson nodded. "I'm going to the park. See you, Miss Moelna."

"See you, Masson, take your son next time."

"certain."

Masson ran slowly. Along the way he just focused on his steps. He occasionally greeted his neighbors.

Arriving at the park, Masson smiled when he saw some young people exercising there.

"They are living a healthy lifestyle. Good."

Masson sat in the garden chair. He laughed softly as someone patted his shoulder.

"Drink this."

"thank you. "

Masson received a bottle of mineral water given by his colleague. The two sat together, putting on a serious face like they could not be bothered.

"You still angry with them?"

"No, it's just that I'm still lazy."

The sports-clothed woman nodded her head as if understanding Masson's feelings.

"I hope your wife's death doesn't affect anything."

"Nothing has changed. It feels like he's still around, forever it's gonna be like that."

The woman laughed softly, she let out a sigh of relief. At least Masson showed that he has not changed in terms of his speech.

"You going now?"

Masson frowned as the woman who had been sitting quietly beside him moved.

"Yes, you just go home, I'll call you back tomorrow."

"All right, you're the one who goes first. I still want to be here."

The woman nodded and then walked away. Masson looked at the woman who was getting away.

"Why are women so difficult to understand?" Masson muttered after his partner had already gone away.

The man was still sitting there until the sun really started to scorch. He was busy drowning in his mind. Seeking the real answer.

He only regained consciousness from his daydream when something hit him in the face. The man's face turned red because of that. Masson moved, shook his head slowly and left the park without waiting for the owner of the ball to hit him in the face.

The man ran back to his house. Everyone there looked at Masson with astonished and question-marked eyes.

Laurent who is busy struggling with his book immediately approached Masson and asked a lot of questions.

"What happened to you? Has someone attacked you? Mister..."

"It's normal. It's nothing serious, ask Damian to schedule Samm's meeting with psychology. "

"Well, I'll also bring you a medicine box."

Masson nodded. He walked up the stairs while holding his face still red.

The man opened the door to his son's room. He saw Sammuel who had just woken up and was trying to fight the drowsiness that was still running through his body. The boy sat on the bed, rubbing his eyes.

"Dad's? Are you all right?" Speak with a soft tone.

Masson smiled at the words of his son who came down from the bed. He carefully lifted Samm's body into his trunk.

Bringing a boy to the bathroom. Ask him to brush his teeth and wash his face.

"Then change your clothes. We have to go to Mom's."

"Of course, but I want to eat my dad's sandwich."

"Alright, clean yourself up and get ready. I'm gonna go downstairs and make you breakfast."

Sammuel nodded as he climbed the stairs near the sink because he could not reach the height of the sink. Wash his face that still looks sleepy.

He started to brush his teeth after his eyes were completely opened.

The boy came down the stairs slowly. Then she changed into a black shirt and black pants.

Today he will meet his mother after a long time without seeing her.
