The man immediately released his check. Helli got off immediately and the other man grabbed the car keys.

"Hey, what are you doing?! Give me the keys back."

"Pay your mother's debt, then this car you can take back."

"I'll pay for it but give me the car keys back. This isn't my car!" Jesus, how would he explain to Gavin if one of the men's cars was seized by a debt collector. It's mortifying.
