My Naughty Fiance's
The Lipstick is Good

"Will Oscar think I seduced her?"

"He wouldn't think so if you didn't seduce him." Helli calmed the tension that Grace felt. The sweet girl was ready to go to the charity party. Grace also refused to bring one of her drivers. He will drive himself.

"If you want to dance, dance with someone else. If you want to have a conversation, do it with someone else, okay. Any contact you make with Oscar should be brief and official. If Oscar doesn't want you, he'll be fine with your treatment. But if he's interested, let's see."

"Your statement makes me nervous. Is this the kind of tug-of-war you did when you tortured Gavin?"

Helli shook his head, "My case and your case are different. From the beginning you already knew that all you wanted was Oscar. Me and Gavin are stuck in our game. I think if you don't leave now, you'll be late. I'll wait for you to come home and want to be the first to hear your happy story."

The positive reaction that Helli showed made Grace shrouded in a bubble of happiness. She was impatient to see Oscar react to her.

"You're so I have to go" Grace landed a kiss on Helli's cheek. Hopefully, if Helli's prediction is correct, if it doesn't happen, Grace is prepared to be disappointed.

Half an hour later, Grace arrived at the scene. As far as the eye could see, he had not seen Oscar. Even in the crowd, in the middle of hundreds of people, Grace would usually easily see the figure of the man.

Grace chose to blend in, as Helli said, she had to talk to the others. Grace knew quite a lot of people present there. Most of them are their co-workers. Grace showed her best smile to whoever was greeting and conversing with her, to the point that she felt her face would crack, her cheek muscles exhausted and her head throbbing in an attempt to make a polite conversation.

"Almost I don't recognize you."

This voice and reaction did not belong to the person Grace had expected. Even so, he turned around to greet the person.

Damian Lawrence raised a blatantly judging gaze. Oath to whatever, Grace sees an amused glint in the man's sharp bead that makes Grace's confidence squeak for a moment. He and Helli put in a lot of effort for tonight and one glance of that damned widower made his business fall apart.

"I don't see your lover" Grace didn't want to respond to the man's utterances about his appearance. He must keep the rest of his trust until he meets Oscar and sees the man's reaction. Grace assures herself that she doesn't care about Damian's assumptions.

I don't dress up for this guy!

"Grenda?"

"How many lovers do you have?"

"Don't you feel your question is too personal, Miss Vasquez."

"You have the right not to answer, Mr. Lawrence. It's just that your answer rattled me to the question. I asked where your lover was and you asked about Grenda. So, where's my fault?"

"Good choice of lipstick, cherry or strawberry?"

Damian's eyes focused on Grace's lips. Again, the man looked at her blatantly. Grace desperately held back so that the red hue did not appear on both of her cheeks. But it seems like he failed. Grace felt her whole body burn. And he believes if the heat he feels because of the emotions that attack him. Damian's look was skinning him.

"Geez, where are your eyes looking, Duda!"

"I'm praising the color of your lipstick, where do you think I should look?"

"I asked."

"And I answered. You came alone?"

"I'm just stale. All right, enjoy the party, Miss Vasquez."

Damian passes by leaving Grace, gathered with her relatives. To be exact, it was the people who surrounded and approached the man. Whether it's women or men. Everyone was jostling to talk to Damian.

Grace subconsciously watched the man. His mind admits that Damian was the brightest man he had seen at the party.

"It's just because Oscar hasn't shown up yet."

"I heard my name called."

Grace turned around and found the stunning face of the man she had been waiting for the most since.

"Oscars!!" He squealed with excitement and in the next second he relaxed, keeping his elegance after remembering what the message of the friend who was his brother-in-law. Don't show enthusiasm!

A witty whistle shot out of Oscar's mouth. "Wow!" his eyes swept over Grace's appearance with one quick glance.

"Wow! Grace?!"

"Yes, I." Grace blushed in shame. It seems that Helli's prediction was correct. Oscar's bead looks glittering in admiration. The man also ignored his female friend who dressed up so spectacularly.

"Dress is beautiful."

"This is your gift."

"Very fit and snug."

"Yes, thank you."

"You look different. Oh, my God, Grace you..." Oscar was at a loss for words. "Let's say hello to the others." Oscar released the grasp of his girlfriend from his sturdy arm. "I'll see you later. There are some things I have to do" whispered Oscar in the woman's ear, which Grace could still hear.

The woman scowled, although with a heavy heart the woman still moved from there.

Grace, remembering Helli's message, prepares to reject the man's invitation.

"It looks like this dress was made for you, Grace."

"I think so too... Oh, the music is heard. Can dance?"

"Of course I can" Oscar reached out, but Grace had already left him to the dance floor feeling very free. He has never done this on his own. Every time he attended a party, he was always with his family.

Grace danced and danced to the music with the smiles of those around her. Grace also smiled as her hands lifted up like everyone else and rewinded her head back and let her body move in rhythm.

"It's great to see you here" it's Juno Santiago, one of Oscar's business associates. A very mysterious handsome man. And they danced, had fun, ignored the little nagging of her screaming inner voice wanting to dance with Oscar.
