Helli opened the door when he heard the sound of the bell. After breakfast, Gavin goes to work. The man promised to pick her up at 11. Helli saw the clock still pointing to the number 10. Then who's coming? Lordship?
Helli frowned when he saw a man in neat clothes standing before him. Helli glanced at the car parked in front of the house. The car Gavin used to carry.
"Master.. Hm, Gavin gave this. He told me to wear it at lunch."
Helli received the paper bag that was handed to him. "Thank you."
The man nodded and then went home.
Helli brought the paper bag into the room, immediately he took out the contents. A white spaghetti dress. Helli was again made dumbfounded. The beautiful dress is one of the famous brands produced on a limited basis.
"I'd better take a shower then. It's time to help my fiancee get her lover. God, what kind of statement is this."
An hour later, Gavin came to pick her up. "Helli, are you done?"
"Yes, I'm getting dressed. You get ready."
"Well, I only need fifteen minutes. We meet down below."
"Yes." Yeah."
Finished dressing up, Helli immediately went downstairs. Gavin who was also at the bottom was stunned. Helli was grinding his long hair. The girl looks so stunning. Gavin forgot how to breathe air. His eyes refused to blink.
"How many installments?"
The word installment reappears. Gavin. What installments?
"The book is beautiful. Your taste is beyond doubt. But I think this is overkill. You're not supposed to do it, you're just wasting money on a piece of a dress. I thought this was a copy. After I checked the authenticity. It's really original. I'll change your money. You don't have to add a monthly burden just for a piece of a dress that you have to cicil for a matter of years."
Helli took something out of his handbag. A card that no longer exists the other day.
"This, take. You have to keep your servants in front of Mona and Rusel. Choose a fancy restaurant. Relax, there is money. Addrian gives you a down payment."
In the past, he would not mind if his date thought he was a destitute man. But when Helli did, he didn't like it.
"I don't know and don't want to guess." Helli wiped the space between them. He slipped the card into the man's pocket and tidied the man's tie. "You look so charming."
Gavin smiled, "Charming is my middle name, Helli." Gavin reached out his hand, attaching the hairdresser to the back of Helli's ear. "You're beautiful too" she praised with a look of adoration she couldn't hide.
"Yes, I know." said Helli confidently. "We're going to be a fake couple that looks very mismatched. You're charming and I'm so pretty."
Gavin chuckled, but he nodded in agreement with Helli's statement. "Okay, if it's all over, stay my friend."
A fella? Helli could only smile wryly. In the past, he was very hopeful that he really did have many friends. But Gavin's friendship offer isn't what he wants right now.
Helli shook his head, "It looks like we can't be friends."
Gavin nosedived his eyebrows. Surprised by Helli's rejection.
"You're a guy who tends to fall in love with a woman you call a friend or best friend. Ck!" Helli shook his head, "I can't bear to reject you one day. To that end, our relationship is only this limited and once everything is done, let's live each other's lives as if we don't know each other."
There was a sense of disbelief in Gavin's heart hearing Helli's rejection. "I can't. We have to be friends!"
"Don't force me!"
"I don't accept rejection."
"If I refuse?"
"No rejection, Helli. Friends?" Gavin extended a hand. Helli could do nothing but accept the man's helping hand.
"Don't blame me if you fall in love with me." Helli grumbling. The two shake hands with each other.
"If that happens, I'll beg and kneel before you to be willing to accept me" Gavin gave a witty retort. "It's good to be friends with you, Helli Lepisto."
