Fifty minutes have passed. We're still on our way. I don't know where this Cecunguk will take me. I don't know the road we've been on this time. All I know is that the road is unpaved. The land is not even. Lots of mounds and puddles here and there. On the left right side of the road is a lot of mahogany trees grow large with lush foliage. The further we cross, the quieter the road becomes. The lighting is getting minimal. There were no more buildings or shops along the road. There are only a few houses. Each house was more than ten meters away.
"Where are we really going, Al?" manya curious. Why have you come so far but not yet.
"You'll know when you get to it."
"Is it far away?"
"No. We'll be there soon."
Alan turned the steering wheel. Passing the path that is covered with wild grass. The road is very dark. No lighting at all. Alan only relied on the spotlight from his motorbike. Both sides of the road were towering sugarcane plantations.
"Why is the road like this, Al? It's quiet and dark." I grabbed Alan's body, hugged him tighter and tighter. When the wind hit my body.
"You scared?" ask Alan. Looking at me, for a moment.
I'm nodding. This time the road is pretty scary. Not just dark and quiet. The sounds of animals that were either birds or whatever sounded creepy in my ears. "What if there's a begal?"
Alan chuckles. "Why are you laughing? I was being funny" I said.
"If we're in begal I'll just turn you in" Alan said.
"Yes! you think I'm an item that you can just hand over" I snapped, annoyed. I stabbed him in the shoulder with a bag quite hard. Makes Alan complain of pain.
"Forget, Lea. Be ill. I was just kidding," he said.
"Your jokes aren't funny."
"Yes already, sorry." I didn't answer, still upset.
"You don't have to worry. I'm a martial arts master," he added.
A few moments later we returned across the paved road. The streets are back in light. I let out a sigh of relief. Finally off the creepy road.
"What is that, Al?" my many. Pointing to a place that is so amazing pampering the eyes. Colorful color LED fluorescent lights decorate the big trees.
My eyes did not turn, just kept staring at the place without blinking. Until unconscious, knew Alan had stopped his motorbike.
"Let's go down" he ordered.
I comply. Get off the bike without taking your eyes off the place. So amazed at what I see. So many trees of all sizes. Some are small, some are very big. Like the one in front of us. I guess this tree is a banyan tree. Usually trees like this look scary. But in this place it is very beautiful. The roots hanging on the winding of the led light are yellow. Makes it look so beautiful. Each tree is decorated with lights of different colors. Some are purple, red and electric blue. I just took my eyes off when Alan took off the helmet on my head.
"What's this place, Al?" my question, again. This time I looked at him. The man smiled. Stretching out my hands, tidying my hair and tucking it behind my ears.
I squirm. Feeling tingly as his fingers touched my ears. Alan dropped his hand. Turn around to see the view behind it. "The name is forest park" he said.
"It's a real forest, Al?" my many. Still can't believe what I saw. It looks more like a park than a forest.
"This is a forest. Let's see those big trees." I circled my eyes, following the direction Alan was pointing.
"Eboni trees, sonokeling and also tamar trees that are as large and tall as that only grow in the forest," explained Alan.
"But this looks more like Al's garden." I looked around again. Look at the long chair spread out in several corners. There's a sonokeling tree under. There are also those who face the flowers. Even in this place is also provided a swing in the frame of flowers vines.
"This place is deliberately designed like a garden. To attract visitors."
"The owner of this place must be a genius. This is a very wonderful idea. He's been very successful" I said. Looking back around. Look for some visitors who really enjoy this place.
"Thank you" said Alan.
I looked up, looking at him. "I commend the owner of this place, Al. Not you."
"Oh. I thought you were praising me as a genius for taking you to a place like this" he said, smiling.
I smiled, seeing her self-confidence worth appreciating. Wherever and whenever this man is always confident.
We are now walking down the path. Getting into the forest.
"Why did you bring me here, Al? Don't you want to buy food?"
"I want to eat here. I hear the food here is delicious."
My steps stopped, surprised by his words. I turned the body, facing Alan. "Here's the one selling the food, Al?"
Alan nodded. "There's live music too" he said.
I was once again amazed at what was offered in this place. Not just a beautiful sight. But there are culinary and entertainment tours as well. Visitors here are very crowded.
We step back. Turn left towards a special place that becomes a culinary tour. Some food stands are there. Starting from satay, grilled chicken, seafood and also other snacks. There are also plenty of tables and chairs. Visitors can eat comfortably.
"What's not here, Al? there is food, there is entertainment. Maybe there is a hotel here too" I said, carelessly. I looked down, watching the neatly arranged small rocks flanking the path.
I raised my face. Look at what Alan pointed to. Back stunned when he saw the row of tents that stood firmly at the end there. Makes me speechless anymore.
"Why are you constantly surprised like that? Have you never seen a place like this before?" ask Alan. Staring at me briefly.
"I never visited a place like this before" I said, admitting.
"Oh yeah?" alan looked surprised.
I'm nodding. "It's the first time I've come to a place like this."
"Then what have you been doing with your boyfriend all this time? Did you just spend some time in the room?" alan said with a mocking laugh.
"Hey .. we're not as bad as you think," I said, defending myself.
"Then what do you do often?"
"Shop, eat or watch a movie. That's what we used to do" I replied.
"That's it?"
I nodded, assuring.
"I think someone's missing" Alan said.
I'm staring. "What?"
"Sleep together. You forgot to mention that one," he said.
"Sleeping together like what do you mean?"
"Stop pretending you don't understand. You must have known what I meant" said Alan, grinning.
I chuckle. Started to understand what he meant. "I told you, we're not that bad, Al. I'm still a virgin now."
"I don't believe."
"believe it or not is your business, Al. I'm not forcing you to believe me either."
"What do you want to eat, Al?" my many. When we were at the stand selling food. Alan and I sat facing each other. Look at the menu book in each hand.
"You're the one who chooses" Alan said. Putting the menu book he held back to the table.
"And I'm the deal. So you're the one who has to choose, Al."
"I can eat anything" he said. He leaned his body on the chair. Both of his hands were folded on his chest. His eyes seemed to be sweeping around.
I don't want to choose the menu. "When satay how, you won't?" I said. It was the first menu I saw.
"May," he said with a flat face.
"Do you want a chicken or a goat?" my question, again.
Alan looked back at me. "Whatever, whichever. Just so you like it" he said. He got up from his seat.
I'm staring. "Where are you going?" ask me when he wants to go.
"You go to the toilet. You order the food. I'll be back, '" he said. He stepped away.
"Don't be long" I said. Don't want to linger alone.
Alan did not answer. He just brandished a finger, forming an ok sign.
I decided to order food. After that wait while playing hp. I looked up when someone said my name. Surprised to see Alan on stage. The boy sat on a chair with a guitar on his lap. What's he doing there? What to sing, my mind wondered.
"This song is specifically for the beautiful woman there, who is staring at me" Alan said with a loudspeaker. He pointed at me. Making the few people in front of him look up, looking at me. I covered my face with both palms, embarrassed.
"For my lady there, please get rid of your hand. Because I can't look at your pretty face" Alan said.
People turned back, looking at me. Some people cheered and were also heard whistling from there. Makes me even more embarrassed. "What the hell is Alan" I muttered as I turned my face away. Even though I knew it was just a flutter, but I don't know why I'm still happy to hear it.
When I calmed down, I looked back at Alan. He started picking his guitar. Sing a song by andmesh kamaleng called Love is amazing. I was stunned, hearing Alan's voice which turned out to be very melodious. Some people were singing with him. I keep looking at him. Not wanting to turn a second away from her. While singing Alan several times raised a smile, making it even more charming. But then the smile disappeared. When our eyes meet. His face turned serious. We sat for quite a while.
What's wrong with you, Al? Why are you looking at me that deep?
