"You're awake, miss," exclaimed a servant who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
I smiled and nodded at him who walked up to me.
"Does Miss Alea want breakfast? I'll get it ready soon."
Still offering breakfast in the middle of the day? Is he mocking me who woke up?
"Thank you, but it's not necessary - I don't normally eat breakfast," I said, lying.
The waiter frowned. "But the Young Master said Miss never misses breakfast. The Young Master also said that Miss always starves when she wakes up, so told us to make breakfast from morning and serve it when Miss wakes up."
"That must be someone else, not me. She may have forgotten," I said with an awkward smile.
"God..." The waiter nodded his head, as if believing my words. However, doubt was clearly on his face.
Well, as Alan once said, I'm a bad liar. Someone else could see my lies. I'm actually a little embarrassed right now. Until I unconsciously bit my lower lip with my face down. But it wasn't long. A few seconds later, I raised my face again and looked at the waiter again.
"Oh yeah, do you know where Alan is now? Is he gone?" my question, then.
"Alan?" The waiter repeated it with a frown.
"Yes Alan, your Young Master," I explained.
"Oh What do you mean Miss, Mr Ars?" The waiter finally understood.
I forgot, that Cecunguk has another nickname besides Alan. And Ars calls are more popular than the other. I think I'm the only one who calls him Alan.
"Yes, that's who I mean. Where's she? have you been back to town A?" I asked again.
The waiter nodded. "No. Young Master's still here-not gone."
I let out a sigh of relief. Mercifully... I thought I was left alone.
"Then where is he now? I don't see him anywhere?"
I checked his room, living room and family room. However, Alan was not in all three places.
"Last time, I saw you in his study" said the waiter.
"Where's that? Can you show me the room?"
"certain, Miss. Let's. I take it there."
I followed the waiter. Take the stairs that connect to the second floor and pass through some of the rooms there. Until finally he stopped in front of a room whose front wall was made of thick glass. The bottom, one and a half meters high, the glass was covered in some kind of sticker or whatever it was called, I don't know. That definitely makes it look blurry. So that the inside of the room is not visible from the outside.
"Here, Miss. It seems like Master is still inside," the maid said as she pointed at the room beside her.
"Alright, thank you for driving me," I said with a faint smile.
The waiter smiled. Her tooth makes her look sweeter. "Together, Miss," he replied. "Is there anything else I can help you with, miss?" tanyanya.
I'm shaking. "Nothing."
"I'll excuse you then, Miss."
"Yes, please."
After the servant left, I turned to face the glass door and knocked on it three times.
"Who?" alan from inside the room.
"It's me, Al."
"Oh, are you awake? Comein..."
I pushed the door open and walked in. At that moment, I saw Alan sitting in a chair with a laptop he had placed on the table, in front of him.
"What are you doing, Al?" my question is to close the door.
"Meet," he answered without taking his eyes off his laptop.
Instantly I stopped stepping. I had planned to go to him, but since he was busy, I abandoned that intention. I turned around and stepped back, preparing to leave the room. However, just as I was about to open the door, Alan suddenly said in a loud voice.
I looked back. Staring at Alan who was looking at me. "You talking to me?" I said pointing to myself.
"Yes. You just came, now you're leaving?" ask her with furrowed eyebrows.
"You're in a meeting, I don't want to interrupt" I said in a soft voice.
"I'm not at all bothered by your presence. Come here. greet your other friends."
The guys? Who did he mean?
"Why stay there? come quickly, don't let your friends wait too long?" said again.
I stepped in curious. Who the hell is he talking about?
As soon as I got to his side I was greeted by several people who were connected in the video conference.
"Good day, secretary Lea," they said.
"Good day everyone," I replied with an awkward smile.
"Sit down and listen, we're discussing a new product" Alan said.
"Good, Sir."
Alan was always professional when it came to work. In the present situation, our status is only that of a superior and a subordinate. So I can't call Alan like I used to. I have to call him Mr. Ars, just like everyone else.
I was already half-sitting when Alan suddenly asked, "What are you doing?"
I looked at him confused. "Didn't you just tell me to sit down?"
"The others can't see you if you're sitting there."
There was only one seat there and it only fit one person. Where should I sit then? on lap?
"Dries... Sitting on my lap."
I almost choked to death in her surprise.
Is he crazy! How can I ask him to sit on his lap while people look?
"Don't want to come here, too?" ask Will, impatiently.
I shook my head in response.
"alright... Since Lea's secretary did not want to sit down, then the meeting this time did not need to continue. Everyone can go back to their own room."
The employees who attended the meeting seemed pleased with Alan's decision. With smiles on their faces, the officers packed their files and prepared to leave the meeting room.
Unfortunately, the fun did not last long. Instantly everything came back lethargic when Alan added the next sentence.
"Today no one can go home before I receive the report of the results of the meeting this time, all overtime!"
Not much different from the other employees, I was as surprised as them. What the hell is this! How do we all make a report if the meeting just doesn't go ahead? What the hell does he want? My grunts in my heart.
Arman coughed before speaking. "Miss Alea, can't you obey Young master's orders? We've all been so tired since yesterday, do you have the heart to see us having to overtime again?" he said out loud. His voice was as calm as usual.
"After all, it's just sitting, it won't make you tired" he added.
"Yes, Alea. Hurry up and sit on Mr. Ars' lap so that our work is finished." Someone added.
"Please... Sit down, secretary Lea. Don't add to the problem. Our burden is already a lot," said the head of the marketing team.
Their words cornered me. With a heavy heart, I approached Alan and sat on his lap. Really, I was really very embarrassed, but had no choice.
"Good boy" whispered Alan. His face was beaming as he smiled.
"alright... Where did the meeting go?"
That way the meeting resumed. Everyone seemed focused on the meeting, except me. Sitting on his lap was really uncomfortable. Especially when I feel something moving under me.
Whatisthis? This... Is this that?
