Alan's like my own personal carpenter. Wherever I go, he will pick me up. Except when I'm with Kevin. Alan never asked for payment. He always refused if I gave him money. Instead he asked me to buy him dinner.
"Where are you going today?" ask Alan.
"Ke Margasari," I said as I got on the bike.
Alan turned his head slightly, turning his head towards me who was sitting behind him.
"Where's margasari? Next town?" ask Alan.
I'm nodding. "Yes" I said, briefly.
"What do you want there? Going on a farm?"
Margasari is a hilly area which is part of the area is a tea plantation and also vegetables.
"Can't you ask a lot of questions?" i said, furious. This man why is so chatty.
"But that's a long way off" Alan said.
Too far away your head! Only a one and a half hour journey.
"So you're taking me?" my many. "If you don't want to I can find another vehicle" I said, adding. I got back off the bike. Then stood back to him, annoyed.
"OKAY. I'll take you, " said Alan. "Well, let's go now" he asked.
I smiled triumphantly. Either Alan's a fool or I'm too smart. Sometimes the man is obedient. So I sometimes use it.
After wearing a helmet and riding on his bike back, Alan began to gas. Leaving the courtyard where we lived and moving through the streets. Alan drove his vehicle at high speed. I have to admit Alan's driving ability is amazing. So adept that it looks like a professional racer who is able to meander even on crowded streets. Thanks to his skill we got to the destination faster. What should be taken for an hour and a half now only takes one hour and five minutes.
"Whose house is this, Alea?" alan asked when we arrived. It spreads the view. He looked at a mansion that stretched wide in front of him.
*My girlfriend's parents' second home. Two parents who almost became my father and mother-in-law.
"The house belongs to my sister's in-laws" I said, explaining.
"Why did you come here? What business is it?" tanyanya, again.
"Why are you doing this once, Al? Are you really out of work? Want to know all my business?"
Alan grinned, to me. "Yes!" said, admitted. "You know for yourself that I'm unemployed. So I did lack work" he added, happy.
I looked at him while shaking my head. He's crazy, isn't he? He's the only man who feels proud when calling himself unemployed*.
"Tonight I'm not going home, Al. You don't have to wait or pick me up, either" I said before leaving.
"OK," he said.
"Oh yes, Al. It's for gasoline," I said. Throwing five hundred thousand banknotes at him. This time the trip was quite far. It certainly consumes a lot of fuel. He also must be tired from driving too long.
Just like before. Alan pulled back my hand that was holding the money. "You think I'm an ojeg?" said it. He looked at me, angry.
"It's not like that I mean, Al," I said as gently as I could. Still trying to be patient.
"Then what does that mean? Is it because you feel sorry for me?" ask again. He looked at me sharply. As if I had insulted him.
I squeezed my palms, furious. "Why do I pity you. You're a shitty man, no need for pity" I snapped half-screaming. Because I could not stand the accusations that made up eventually my frustration exploded as well.
"Why are you yelling at me? You think I'm deaf?" he said screaming.
"You're not deaf but you're a person who always prejudices others. Thinking excessively and sometimes senselessly" I shouted, angry.
"If you don't want to accept it, you already have. There's no need to get angry and yell at me" I said, annoyed. I stepped away. Leave him alone first.
Bodo time with him wants his bike to break down on the cake road, or he starves again I don't care. My only intention was to help him because last night he said he didn't have any money even to the point of starving. But he was angry and accused me of a no-no.
I walked into the courtyard of the mansion. Quite stunned by the decorations that have been installed beautifully. White curtains hanging in the tent. There are flowers scattered around every corner. It seemed like Alia's entire seven-monthly event preparation was done by one hundred percent.
I was welcomed by Mama Nadia. Kevin's mother thinks of me as her own son.
"npus ... You're finally here, son. Mama misses me very much" he said when we met. I shook his hand, pecking at the smooth back of his palm. After that, it slid into his arms.
"Lea misses Mama too" I said.
We take each other off hugs. Mama Nadia took my hand. Then I took me to the sofa in the living room. We sat there. Before that, I greeted Kevin's father and my parents first. My mom and dad have been here since last night.
"Who am I coming with, son?" ask mom.
I looked up, looking at him. My mom looks nice. Wearing a salem-colored kebaya. Same color as Mama Nadia. So did papa Ibra and my father. Both wear matching colored suits. "So it was with my friend, Mom," I said.
"Where is your friend then? Why not get in."
"Your friend is a boy or a girl, Alea?" ask papa Ibra.
"Male, Pa," I said.
"It looks like soon we will have another ghost, yes, Mr. Santoso," papa Ibra told my father.
"So you've got a girlfriend, son? Why not tell dad? It's worth it that you immediately refused when I wanted to introduce you to Azam" said my father.
"The guy who dropped off earlier wasn't Lea's boyfriend, Dad ... Pa. We're really just friends" I argued.
"Then your boyfriend must really like you, Lea. He even took the time to drive you first when he had business" said papa Ibra.
I responded with just a smile.
"Oh yeah Lea, now it's time to get dressed and get dressed. In two hours the show will start" my mother said, reminding me.
"All right, Mom." I rise to my feet. " Let's excuse me, Dad ... Mother ... Papa Ibra," I said before leaving.
"Please, son," said Papa Ibra. My mom and dad just nodded their heads.
With Mama Nadia I climbed the stairs, heading to one of the rooms on the second floor. "Why are we here, Ma?" I asked when we went into a room that was Kevin's. We sat on the edge of the bed.
"Because Alia was pregnant so she and Kevin were temporarily sleeping in the guest room, downstairs. So that Alia does not need to go up and down the stairs. While the other guest room is filled by both your parents and also your nephew. So the only room left was this, Alea wouldn't mind sleeping in Kevin's room?" ask mama Nadia. He held both my hands.
I smile. "Of course, Ma. Alea could sleep anywhere. If there were no empty rooms, Lea could sleep in the living room" I said, laughing.
Mama Nadia laughed. "This you, girls should not sleep outside, danger" he said.
"Now Alea is quick to change clothes and also beautiful makeup, yes, Mama wait below" he added.
"Okay, Ma" I said. Mama Nadia rubbed my head for a moment. After that, go away.
As soon as the door closed I got dressed. Applying foundation, powder, lipstick and others on my face. This time I wear makeup. I intentionally did not make it too flashy. Besides, I also don't like menor makeup. Finished with the makeup business I switched to my hair. Comb it neatly, after that roll it up and pin the pearl-faced circam that has been provided by mama Nadia.
The makeup and hair are done. Now we just change clothes. I got up, put my feet up to the bed. There is a light blue kebaya top that is combined with a batik skirt. Kebaya is so beautiful. Not too fancy but elegant. Fits my taste. I quickly took off my clothes. Then replace it with the kebaya.
I was shocked when the door of the room suddenly opened. Fortunately, I was fully dressed at the time. Just put up some buttons.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know there was anyone in my room" said a person whose voice I already knew.
I immediately turned around. "Mas Kevin," I said as I looked at Kevin standing in the doorway.
Kevin raised his bowed face. "Lily" he said, surprised. He went into the room and then closed the door. He walked up to me.
"You're so beautiful, Ly," she said, praising. He looked at my face.
"Mas Kevin why are you here?" my many.
"I want to take my watch" he said.
"Oh yeah it's quick grab it and get out" I asked. I don't want to get caught in a room with him. If that happens the situation will definitely be a disaster.
"All right," said Kevin. He walked into the locker room which was also a storage area for his personal belongings such as shoes and watches. After getting what he was looking for, he rushed out. A few seconds later, he came back in.
"What's wrong? Why come back again? Is anyone missing?" ask me when he closes the door.
"Yes. Someone is missing" said Kevin. He walked towards me.
"What?" my many.
"This one's missing." Suddenly Kevin pulled my body until I fell in his arms. My eyes widened as I grabbed my lips. But subconsciously slowly I closed my eyes, along drifting in his fondness.
I opened my eyes again as Kevin took off his pagutan. "Now I'm leaving" said Kevin, peeping at my cheek. After that, go away.
"Oh yeah, don't wait long, I'm waiting for you downstairs" he said half-whispering. After saying that he really left.
I smile, happy. I turned my body and reflected. I tidied up my lipstick, which was a bit smitten by Kevin just now.
"Kevin ... Mama Nadia, I'm coming," I murmured after I finished. I walked out of the room and prepared to meet the others below.
