Oh My Cecunguk

Oh My Cecunguk
Episode 62

"What!" I said, surprised.

Ten times the salary I received. Does that make any sense? I haven't even had time to taste the money from this company, but they just want to take my money.

I looked back at Dani. "Do you intend to blackmail me!"

"That's the company's rule, miss. I just run it," he explained. Dani is so relaxed and calm. Unlike me who's been tearing up and almost exploding.

"I warned you before to read it first, but you said you already knew the contents."

I fell silent, unable to deny his words. I said that before. I guess the rules here are just like any other company out there. If you violate the contract, you are required to pay a fine of one month of salary received. Unexpectedly, this company turned out to have different regulations. If you think this is purely my fault for not being thorough.

"Thus ... How are you gonna pay for it, Miss?" ask Dani.

I'm silent again. I don't want to work here, but I can't pay that much. There's no way I'm using the money Alan gave me. Although it could be but the amount will not be enough.

"Then I will not resign. Can Mr Dani assume this conversation never happened?" I said, after thinking for a moment.

Dani frowned. "But you've signed the documents" he said, seeming objectionable.

"Isn't that just a piece of paper? You can tear it up and throw it in the trash" I suggested.

"But ... How do I explain it to Mr Ars? Even Arman's assistant brought Miss Alea here directly."

"You take it easy, I'll explain to Alan myself."

"I mean, Mr. Ars," I err shortly thereafter. I forget that the people here call him Ars. It's only natural that Dani looks confused when I say Alan's name.

"Alright, I will entrust it to you, Miss," he said in agreement.

I breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, this guy doesn't make it difficult for me.

"Then, excuse me, sir," I said, saying retreat.

Dani nodded her head. "Please, Miss," he said, kindly.

I got up and turned and started to walk. Dani excited me for a moment before I left her room.

Though reluctant, I eventually returned to Alan's room and faced him with embarrassment. When I got there, Alan was still sitting on the sofa. He glanced at me for a moment, then back at his laptop.

"What's wrong? Why returned? Did you leave anything?" He asked me three questions at once. His voice sounded cold. He didn't even look at me when he said it.

I don't know why my heart feels so bad when Alan acts like that to me. I don't like him getting too close to me but I'd rather not if he was indifferent to me. I don't know why I'm so selfish. I kept looking down, not daring to look at him.

"Why silence? I'm asking you, are you deaf?" snapped Alan.

I don't understand why I'm weak. Just because he spoke in a higher voice, I almost shed tears. Yes, the clear liquid started to pool, blocking my view.

"Al, I .. I changed my mind, I want to keep working here," I said, stuttering slightly.

"Who are you talking to? Are you talking to ants?" This time his tone was softer. But he sounded a little mocking.

"Step your head and look at your opponent. Besides don't just mumble, raise your voice so I can hear it" he said later.

I slowly raised my face, daring to look at her. "I don't want to stop. I want to keep working here. I drew my previous words," I said in a loud voice. Our eyes met when I said it.

Alan scrunched his forehead. "You crying?" tanyakanya. He got up from his seat. After that, it came closer to me.

I looked away. I quickly wiped away the tears that came out without me noticing.

A few seconds later Alan was already standing in front of me. Instantly the refreshing and soothing aroma of mint burst out, striking my nose.

One hand outstretched, grabbing my face. He bent a little, aligned our posture. "Don't cry, I'm just kidding" she said, caressing my cheek. There was regret in his voice.

Sometimes, when it wasn't annoying, Alan was so warm to me. It is very nice and also attentive. Just like he is doing right now. He acted like he loved me so much. I was touched by his attitude and tone just now, very soft.

"I'm letting you keep working here. But there are some things you should pay attention to. The company has its own rules. Even though we're close, but in the office I'm your boss and you're my subordinate. I won't treat you special because it will make other employees envious. If you make a mistake, you will be punished, just like everyone else. So you have to work professionally, understand!" obviously Alan. I nodded my head in response.

I don't know why these tears keep on dripping. But one thing I do know, I feel comfortable in his arms.

...****************...

It doesn't feel like a few days have passed. I tried so hard to adapt to my new job quickly. The result was a little bit I was able to handle my tasks quite well, in my opinion. Such as making a meeting schedule, preparing and preparing reports, welcoming leadership guests and so forth.

But there is one task that I find difficult to handle. That is a task related to the personal affairs of our director which is none other than Alan or Ars. Yeah, in the office I can't call him Alan. Rather it should be called Mr. Ars, like the others.

As usual, at lunchtime I have to go to Alan's room. While the others were going to the cafeteria and preparing to fill my stomach, I had to do this annoying task.

I lazily rushed towards his large study. Sangking area until there is a bed in the room that is in the partition with a dividing wall. When I saw it, I wondered in my heart. What is the function of the bed. It seems Alan never wears it either. They spend more time outside than at the office.

Should I try it next time? when Alan's not in the office?

I threw the thought away, refocused on the present one. Alan was still at his desk. So focused on the documents in his hand that he didn't notice when I came in.

I cleared my throat to distract him. Successfully, Alan finally turned his head towards me.

"You sick?" tanyakanya. His face looked worried. I don't understand why Alan always behaves like that. When I'm a little bit, he'll look anxious.

I'm shaking. "No, just a little itchy," I said, hurriedly. Before he gets worried.

"It's half one, isn't Mr Ars hungry?" I said as I dropped down on the sofa.

Alan smiled. Take off his glasses and put them on the table. "What is the sunrise from the west? You were very attentive today" he said as he walked towards me.

"What is Mr Ars talking about?" I said while putting on a fake smile. "Every day I massage your shoulders, buy you food and even feed you. Isn't that because I'm paying attention to you?" I said, gritting my teeth.

"That's your job" he replied, chuckling.

I looked away while cursing him in my heart. Then he looked back at her as he sat next to me.

"Thus ... What does Mr. Ars want to eat today?"

"I've booked at the restaurant, so you don't have to go out to buy me food." His fingers stretched out, slipping my hair behind my ears. I'm used to that habit. If it does not slip behind the ear then it will roll up a few strands of my hair with its index finger. I don't understand why he has such a habit. Maybe he can't sleep if he doesn't play with my hair all day.

"Mr Ars has ordered my own food, then, can I go to the cafeteria?" my question, expectantly.

"You what? Eat?" tanyakanya.

Do I still need to ask? Besides eating, what else can I do in the cafeteria? there's no way I'm salto or wrestling there, right?

I nodded my head in response.

"If you go there what about me?"

I looked at him confused. "meaning?"

"When the food comes soon, who will put it in my mouth?"

"Don't you have hands?" I said. Glancing at his two arms which were now more contained and slightly muscular. I guess he forgot that in addition to signing the hand documents it also serves to eat.

Alan clutched his palms together. His fingers twitched as he bent them together. "Today there are so many documents that I have to sign, my hands are sore."

Huh, reason! Just tell me you want to stay in the bribe. "Then I will help you eat Mr. Ars" I said, forced.

"Sorry always troubles you, Alea."

You know it's troublesome, why not stop and eat with your own hands!

"It's okay, sir. It's not at all a hassle" I said, lying.
