CHAPTER 11. Pregnant

During these two weeks Eve was busy with caring for her patients, each time remembering the patients handled and the families Eve met made Eve always look cheerful and upbeat.

But, somehow with Eve's body today. Eve felt her body really uncomfortable because since waking up Eve wanted to vomit the contents in her stomach.

When there was still Tala in Eve's room trying to withstand the turmoil from her stomach to immediately vomit because Eve did not want to make Tala feel disgusted or hated towards her.

Tala did not care and asked why Eve was just silent and not a little away from him even though in her heart she was very curious. Eve seemed to be busy with the phone she was playing on.

Because he felt uncomfortable when he was in a room that was only alone with Eve made Tala immediately go out of his room and approach the room in front of his room with Eve.

Knocking on the door and opening it Tala saw Adya looking in the mirror while combing her hair. Adya gives her smile to Tala, “don't smile, I know that sister is not okay.” Said Tala who immediately hugged Adya from behind.

“Don't worry brother will definitely recover, later in the day we will leave for S.” country Tala told them about their departure to go to the hospital in the country S. Then Tala's hand took over the comb held by Adya.

“This hair will grow soon and will not fall out again if the sister is cured. The hospital was very nice.” Adya just listened to every word from her husband and stared at Tala in silence.

In Nabastala and Eve's room

“I must not look pale otherwise mom and dad will tell me to keep quiet at the mansion.” Said Eve then immediately cleaned her mouth and after that came out of the bathroom and walked towards the dressing table to apply makeup to her face so as not to look pale.

As Eve exited the room and walked close to the kitchen the churn in Eve's stomach began again when she smelled a pungent odor. “Huh, it looks like I have to be alone and not have breakfast.” Eve said when she felt uncomfortable.

“Mother, father, sister Adya and sister Tala Eve go to the hospital first because there are patients who must be treated immediately by Eve.” Eve said without hearing a reply and immediately approached Dhara's mother and Davka's father to kiss her hand and then while biting her deep lips to hold something out.

Eve also walks towards Tala and kisses Tala's hand which should be her habit even though Eve knows that Tala actually doesn't like it. Then Eve turned towards Adya and kissed Adya on the cheek. “Eve go to work first brother, sister be careful at home call Eve if you feel difficulties." Eve said in a hurry.

Adya who saw Eve rush to prevent Eve to tell that they all today want to go to the S country to undergo treatment. “Darling you don't have to worry later we will notify it by phone.” Said Dhara's mother, who was aware of her first daughter-in-law's worries.

Adya glanced at Tala sharply for not telling Eve this much. “Good bu.” Adya replied and resumed her delayed breakfast. Adya feels guilty to Eve because of herself people are busy watching her.

In the car Eve told the driver to stop the car immediately because Eve wanted to spit out the contents in her empty stomach. What a stomach Eve it feels very painful, “bapak can ask for help later stop at the bakery and please buy chocolate sandwiches and chocolate milk, yes sir.” Said Eve while leaning on her limp body.

“Good Miss.” Said the driver while looking at the pale face of the second wife of his employer's child with a worried look on his face. “Ordinary bakery Yes Miss.” Said the driver and Eve nodded her head.

“Bapak please also buy mineral water yes one bottle. Thanks, sorry to bother you.” Eve said as the car stopped at a bakery Eve was subscribed to when Eve missed eating bread.

Driver back by bringing order Eve, “This phone.” The driver said, handing Eve a bag of bread, milk and mineral water in one bag. “What better we go back to the mansion. Miss looks not okay today.”

Eve, who was opening the bread with her hands slightly shaking, smiled at the attentiveness of the driver who always took her wherever she went. “No need father, after breakfast maybe Eve will be fine.”

The driver nodded his head and drove back to his car after seeing that Eve had drunk milk and mineral water.

Eve felt that something was left behind while chewing the bread in her mouth but Eve did not remember anything. “About what ya left behind hopefully it is not an important item.” Eve said in her mind.

The car arrived at the hospital yard but Eve was still busy with her daydreams making the driver frown because not usually this young Miss daydreaming especially in the morning. “Sorry no. We have arrived.” Break up the driver to stop Eve's daydreaming.

Eve who heard it was shocked and a little dazed. “Ouw really, why it feels so fast.” Imbuh Eve smiled and looked around her. “Will later time run fast like this too.” Eve said in her mind.

“Is there anything that bothers Miss's mind?” The driver asked when he saw Eve fall silent and daydream again. Eve smiled and shook her head.

“Thank you for taking Eve, you can rest. Eve will be home later in the afternoon at four.” Said Eve before opening the door. Eve did not forget to thank the driver who had picked her up.

Eve walked in a slight daze while holding her head occasionally and it was noticed by the driver and bodyguard behind the car that Eve was riding in. “What's with young Miss today. Why it looks unhealthy.” Ask the driver.

Eve walks into her room immediately to rest her body which inexplicably grows limp. However, Eve's footsteps stopped when a pair of pantofel shoes stopped her footsteps from entering her room.

“Why do you look unhealthy today. And why are you leaving so early aren't you on no urgent schedule this morning?” Ask doctor Raka who saw this fellow from top to bottom.

“Excuse me doctor Raka.” Said Eve without reprimanding doctor Raka and immediately get rid of the burly body of doctor Raka who slightly prevented him from entering her room.

“It's been two weeks and he still remains cold and stiff.” Imbuh doctor Raka who saw Eve is now putting her stuff on the table. Then Raka's doctor walked towards the reception.

“You should not get sick Eve how about your patients later if they need you.” Eve said strengthening herself.

A nurse walks into Eve's room to notify Eve's schedule today, “good morning doctor Elakshi.” Greet the nurse and Eve immediately straightened her body and returned the greeting of the nurse who became her assistant.

The nurse informed her that there was no immediate schedule or visit to the patient after the surgery to Eve. Eve nodded slowly and knew that there was actually no urgent schedule this morning like she told the people in the mansion.

“See you lied Eve to your parents and husband.” Eve said to herself then walked towards the sofa to rest after previously locking the door so that no one entered and gave the order that no one entered into her space.

And do not forget also Eve told the nurse not to disturb him until later in the afternoon on the grounds that she had an urgent job and could not be disturbed.

While in the mansion around ten o'clock in the morning Dhara's mother tried to call Eve to inform her that they would leave to accompany Adya in undergoing his treatment and would be there in an indeterminate time. Eve did not lift it at all.

“How mom did Eve lift it?” Adya asks who sees that Dhara's mother is still waiting for a reply to the phone received by Eve. Dhara's mother shook her head to Adya. While Tala just quietly pay attention while playing the gadget on his phone to check the incoming email.

Adya hit the thigh of Tala who was sitting casually beside her then pinched Adya. “You why not tell from yesterday so this is it.” Adya said with annoyance. “Indeed absolutely cannot be entrusted.” Dengus Adya gave his sharp and annoyed look to Tala.

“Iya, forgive me.” Tala resigned because he did not want to make a scene between himself and his first wife. “Why not send text messages only.” Tala's advice to Dhara's mother who is also grumpy to him.

Dhara's mother immediately sent a text message to Eve informing her that they were going to S for Adya's treatment today. And tell them they don't know when they're coming back and explain why they're telling them now because there's a misunderstanding that Tala has.

However, it was a pity that the text message had not been read by Eve at all. Dhara and Adya's mother thought that Eve was in the operating room as Eve had removed this morning when Eve took a hasty goodbye.

“Eve will definitely read it dear. You don't worry.” Dhara's mother said to Adya and rubbed Adya's shoulder.

During the day Eve's office door was knocked by a nurse and it made Eve wake up from her sleep. “It turns out I fell asleep, what time.” Eve said then her eyes turned towards the wall clock above the entrance of her study.

Eve walks in and unlocks the door of her study, “maaf bothers doctor Elakshi less than an hour away the doctor's schedule of surgery will be implemented.” The nurse reminded Eve to nod and thanked the nurse who became her assistant for reminding her an hour before the operation.

Having already shown her lunch hour, Eve walks out of her chase room and still does not remember and realizes that the phone Eve felt was left in her and Tala's room.

Eve walked while biting her deep lips when she felt her head getting dizzy even though she had rested. Eve's eyes twitched until Eve who was unable to support her body fell unconscious.

The alert bodyguard immediately ran to save Eve who was about to drop her body on the hard floor but it was not so when a pair of burly arms that immediately saved Eve who was none other than doctor Raka.

Doctor Raka looked worriedly at the sight of Eve's pale face and immediately Raka's doctor carried Eve to the Emergency Installation (IGD) room to be treated immediately. The general practitioner who was on guard and saw immediately checked Eve's condition.

When the general practitioner examined Eve's condition, the doctor was silent and then his hand turned to Eve's pulse and again Eve's heart when he felt that there was something different in Eve's body.

“Why?” Ask Raka's doctor who saw the general practitioner was silent when checking Eve's condition. “Is there a serious problem?” Ask Raka's doctor again when he did not hear the statement from the general practitioner who examined Eve's condition.

The general practitioner took his breath for a moment then his eyes looked at the direction of doctor Raka, “preferably doctor Elakshi immediately treated by doctor obygen.” Said the general doctor. “Because I feel that inside the pulse and heart of doctor Elakshi is different.”

Doctor Raka who heard it was surprised then looked towards Eve who was asleep due to fainting. The bodyguards from afar who saw the two doctors and nurses beside them fell silent in curiosity then walked over.

“What really happened to Miss Eve?” Ask the bodyguard to the doctor and nurse who examined and helped their lady earlier.

The general doctor gave his smile to the bodyguard, “ nothing serious happened to Miss Elakshi Tuan. It's just that Miss Elakshi needs to be examined by an obstetrician.” Answer the general doctor.

The bodyguard who heard it was silent and obeyed when he saw his Miss transferred to the mother and daughter poly. Meanwhile, Raka's doctor also followed and accompanied the examination process to ensure his own.

“This is good news for the Werawan family because currently doctor Elakshi is pregnant and the age of the womb has stepped on one month.” Said the obstetrician informing the results of his examination to the doctor Raka who was beside him.

After being examined Eve was immediately moved inside a nursing room that had been prepared and provided always only for the Werawan family. Eve opened her eyes and opened her eyes as she tried to adjust the light entering her retina.

Doctor Raka who always accompanied Eve moved from the sofa she was sitting on when she saw that Eve had been aware of her fainting. “Thank God that you are conscious. You know you had made a fuss in this hospital when you saw you passed out.” Canda doctor Raka.

Eve gazes at Raka's doctor who looks like she is hiding something and Eve can feel that the smile shown by Raka's doctor looks fake and painful. “What really happened and me why?” Ask Eve formally.

Doctor Raka smiled looking at Eve and tried to strengthen her heart when she heard the news that the woman she admired was currently pregnant. Doctor Raka does know that Eve's status is a married woman but doctor Raka also knows that their marriage is not like the marriage of people there generally.

“Congratulations doctor Elakshi now you are pregnant and your gestational age has stepped on one month. It's not me checking you out because you know this isn't my field, I'm just saying that what the obstetrician who examined you said earlier.” Doctor Raka answers to solve Eve's curiosity.

Eve does not think about why and what makes Raka doctor who tries to be close like a friend who talks to her for the first time to speak formally but Eve fell silent and thought that she was currently pregnant.

“Take care of your content and don't make you tired. From now on you are not allowed to check the condition of serious patients or operate on patients.” Doctor Raka told Eve.

Eve only kept silent while holding her stomach with her teary eyes as she felt moved that right now inside her stomach was another life that would share everything for nine months and ten days.
