The Asmara Jugar the Mafia
The End of Tension

“The error started from Marcus who rashly gave the link to you,” Lionel then glared sharply at Marcus who was still tied and now hit by a gunshot wound.

“I told you that I did it all, just to trap and stop Adriano from going any further!” Marcus defended himself. At that moment, he seemed to be overwhelmed by high emotions.

“See the reality!" jolt Lionel. "Mr D’Angelo is still alive until this second,” the man then let out a breath full of annoyance. While out there, slurs were heard the sound of police car sirens from a distance. Lionel who had started to calm down, now turned frantic and stood up. “Wire! They're coming!” his rest.

He turned around and approached the careless Jules. The man immediately grabbed the gun that was being held by Adriano's men, then shot Marcus right in the head until he was killed instantly. Neither Adriano nor anyone else in the room was in disbelief. Fresh blood from Marcus' gunshot wound splashed everywhere. The red stains littered their chairs, floors, and clothes as well.

“If we can't stop you, then let the police do it,” Lionel smiled with satisfaction while throwing the weapon back to Jules, “that's your weapon. While this is the rental house that you occupy. That is, you are the prime suspect in the murder of Mark Bolton, an American tourist," he said.

“Do not be silly! Everything that happened here has been recorded by CCTV cameras!” sergeant Adriano.

“Are you sure that all those cameras are working fine? As long as you know, Marcus has hacked all the electronic objects that are in this house, even long before you occupy it!” Lionel laughed loudly.

However, his laughter had to stop when the front door was broken by several uniformed and heavily armed police officers.

“Thank you all!” a company of police officers broke in. They all wear full armor along with helmets and bulletproof vests.

“Ck,” Adriano clucked in annoyance while throwing a gun to the floor. So did his four men. They held their hands up high. Meanwhile, Lionel just disappeared. Adriano swept a glance at every corner of the room, but found no mysterious man anywhere. “Jeez, Mia!” suddenly his memory was fixed on the woman he loved most. He was afraid that Lionel would go up and harm his wife and child.

“Do not move, Sir!” one of the police officers fired a warning shot, then ambushed Adriano. The handsome man and his four men were forced to lie face down on the floor. Adriano had no choice but to shut up. He didn't do a fight. Adriano does not want to make the situation worse.

“Please, Sir. One of you, move up. Protect my wife and child! There's one dangerous man. He just killed a man tied to a chair,” Adriano told one of the police.

“Relax, Sir. We will check carefully before making a decision,” replied one of the police, making Adriano frown in astonishment. The police voice reminded him of someone he knew

“Detective Ranieri?” adriano's mumbling couldn't believe it.

Before long, I heard a soft laugh. Someone turned Adriano's body and pulled him to stand. “Good work, Mr. D’Angelo,” the policeman pulled his black mask and showed a familiar face.

“It turns out to be true that you are Detective Ranieri,” Adriano breathed a sigh of relief. His men have also been released. The policemen looked seriously at every point on the scene.

Marcus' body was removed and put in a body bag.

“Thank you, Mr. D'Angelo. Thanks to the accident case that befell you, I was able to cooperate with the British police, so there is no need to move secretly,” Detective Ranieri said as he patted Adriano's arm slowly.

“Adriano!” not finished the surprise, the cry of a woman who was none other than Mia, made Adriano turn and then run. He tightly hugged his wife who was in the middle of the stairs while holding Miabella. “Adriano, thank God you're fine,” Mia returned her husband's embrace more tightly.

“Whose blood is it, Daddy Zio?” The innocent Miabella, pointed her index finger at the living room floor. Soon, Adriano closed Miabella's eyes and hugged her.

“Bring Bella up, Darling. Go back in the room until all this mess is cleared up. You didn't find anything suspicious, did you?” tanyakanya.

“Good then,” Adriano kissed Mia's lips briefly before the woman walked back up the stairs with Miabella.

At the same time, Coco, who was going down the stairs, approached Adriano.

“How?” tanyanya.

“Close to the bottom. Detective Ranieri has been waiting,” take Adriano. They hurriedly approached a detective from Italy who was busy talking to one of the police.

"Ah, he is Mr. Adriano D”Angelo. Monaco businessman who survived yesterday's kidnapping,” Ignazio Ranieri introduced the handsome man to his partner.

“Mr Adriano, meet Sergeant Johnson. He is the deputy bureau interpol London.”

The man named Johnson reached out, then shook tightly Adriano and Coco. “Pardon the unpleasant events you experienced during your time in the UK, Mr. D’Angelo,” he said.

“It’s alright, Sir. Anyway, I've been planning on returning to Monaco,” Adriano replied. “So, who are they exactly?” tanyanya.

“We have absolutely no idea,” Sergeant Johnson took a breath while shaking his head. “Detective Ranieri initially sent a red notice to us, explaining that there was a dangerous movement from Italy that had been troublemaking in England. They were a mysterious group called the Hand of Satan. However, it turns out we have a dead end.”

“What about Thomas Bolton? The man who kidnapped and wretched me?” ask Adriano again.

“The man is much more mysterious. He is a British citizen, but his background is completely clean. There's no blame in the least. He owns a small souvenir shop in the outskirts of Birmingham. Never once broke the law, even just through a red light,” said Sergeant Johnson.

“Then, what underlies the man in the kidnapping of Adriano?” Coco, who had been silent, was now speaking.

“That's what we were investigating, until an hour ago we found a distress signal from Detective Ranieri. We came to him and the detective led us to this place,” Sergeant Johnson explained.

“About Marcus Bolt who is already a corpse, do you recognize him?” ask Adriano.

“My men have examined the body. They found a wallet with an identity card and some dollar bills. The man is listed as an American citizen named Mark Bolton. He came to England with a description as a tourist,” obviously the sergeant again.

“According to a man named Lionel, Mark is the younger brother of Thomas,” Adriano said as he rubbed his chin.

“Who's Lionel?” Detective Ranieri knitted his brows.

“The man came along with Mark Bolton. They didn't even come together. There were dozens of friends who had surrounded this house.”

Hearing Adriano's statement, Sergeant Johnson and Detective Ranieri look at each other. “Add to our work,” complains the blond and half-bald man.

“Somebody else is after you, Mr. D'Angelo. However, the one who had done so was not the Hand of Satan. There is no evidence of their involvement at all,” Detective Ranieri is convinced.
