"Mafia?" juan Pablo repeated as he scrunched his forehead.

"Ah, stop. That's just an estimate" said Emiliano. He felt uneasy about having to discuss such a matter, with someone he did not know yet. "Claudia, is dinner ready?" Gianna's father shifted the subject.

"I didn't cook a lot of food today. Who knew that Gianna would come with her lover," Claudia replied in a speech that always sounded cynical and poignant. It makes Gianna uncomfortable and certainly not good for Juan Pablo. The girl was heard complaining softly with a downcast face.

Juan Pablo could understand the meaning of the lover's body language. He again grabbed the girl's clothespin. "Not bother. I stayed at a hotel not far from here" he said. He stood up and intended to say goodbye. Seeing Juan Pablo moving from his seat, Emiliano followed. "It's nice to meet the two of you, but I can't linger here" he said. He then greeted Emiliano and Claudia.

"I'm sorry for this inconvenient welcome, son," said Emiliano.

"It's okay, Mr. Moriarty. After all, my intention was to meet directly with Bice's parents" Juan Pablo replied as he glanced at Gianna who immediately turned to him. The girl forced herself to smile.

"I'm coming with you" said Gianna slowly.

"Sure" said Juan Pablo.

"You're not gonna stay here, Gia?" emiliano asked with a disappointed look.

"No, Dad. Tomorrow I will stop by again before returning to Rome" replied Gianna.

"Oh, yeah sure. How much does that bastard pay you per month?" ask Claudia.

"Claudia!" admonish Emiliano quite firmly. "Why can't you ...." Emiliano could not continue his words. The bad taste is getting bigger and bigger. He then turned his attention to Juan Pablo who did not talk much. "Once again sorry for the inconvenience, son," he regretted.

"It's okay, sir. You don't have to worry" Juan Pablo replied calmly and flatly. "Come on, Bice," he asked. The dark-haired man immediately led Gianna to the exit with Emiliano. While Claudia, who still holds a pang of resentment towards Gianna for preferring to go with Adriano, sat back and did not care at all.

"Please excuse me, Mr. Moriarty. Don'worry. Your daughter will be fine with me" said Juan Pablo before leaving the house.

"I'm going first, Padre. Take care of yourself and your health" Gianna said, hugging her father.

"You too, son. Take good care of yourself" replied Emiliano. "Heard Adriano was in Casa de Luca? I haven't been there for a few days, because the condition of the body is less fit" said the middle-aged man.

"I haven't seen him yet, either, after yesterday in Monaco. I'll ask her to see you here" Gianna replied with a gentle smile. "You're always in your health, Padre," the girl's message went back to her father. Juan Pablo just stood there watching the scene.

A moment later, Gianna and Juan Pablo finally really left. While Emiliano was still standing in the doorway, until the black sedan driven by Juan Pablo could no longer be seen from his sight, then the man entered. He came back to Claudia who was still sitting on the sofa while supporting her head and twitching her forehead. "Should you behave like that, Claudia?" admonish Emiliano who does not like the attitude of his wife.

"You are hostile to your own daughter" he said again.

"Everything related to your illegitimate child will be my enemy" Claudia replied tightly.

"God. You've done enough to vent all the anger, with all you've done to Adriano. Is it all lacking?" Emiliano seemed to deeply regret Claudia's actions.

"I will never be satisfied, Emiliano! You ... You don't know what the pain of this feeling is. It's always been in my memory when you and that fucking whore named Domenica. .. you guys made love ..." Claudia grumbled.

"God. You've already punished me by expelling Adriano from here. What else do you want? Gianna was even uncomfortable in her own home."

"I don't care! The girl has chosen her way of life! I'll never want to know again about anything that has to do with him. Whatever he's gonna do. He's hanging his life on your bastard son whom I hate so much!" claudia nodded violently.

Emiliano, who was ill, ultimately preferred not to respond to all the annoyance of his wife. Until now, he could not reconcile the heart of Claudia who was filled with hatred for all the mistakes she had done in the past. Emiliano has not been able to regain the sympathetic feeling of Adriano.

Meanwhile, Juan Pablo and Gianna had been in a hotel room the man had booked earlier. Gianna still doesn't talk much. His feelings were not good after seeing Claudia's attitude.

"You okay?" asked Juan Pablo who was standing in front of Gianna. She cupped the pretty face of her puja girl.

"I'm sorry about my mother, Juan. She is very much different from your meek mother" Gianna said. The girl was so ashamed of Juan Pablo.

Gianna did not answer immediately. He chose to pass in front of Juan Pablo. The girl sat on the sofa. Juan Pablo followed him immediately. He sat down near Gianna. "I don't know about that. It all started from the chaotic economic situation of our family" Gianna explained.

"Why?" ask Juan Pablo again.

"My father's company went out of business and left a lot of debt to be repaid. Those were the hardest moments of our lives. Since then, Ilario has been away from home. In the end, one day there were some unknown people who kidnapped my father. I also asked Adriano for help. He managed to find a father who was in a gang," said Gianna told the chronological abduction of Emiliano first.

"What gang?" Juan Pablo asked again. He looks so curious.

"I don't know what the gang's name is, but Adriano knows one of its members. They are based near the port of Genova" Gianna said.

"What's? Genova Harbor?" the Juan Pablo. He took a deep breath, then turned back the body that had been facing Gianna. Juan Pablo was sitting facing forward in a half-bending position. He seemed to glue both palms together, then rubbed them slowly.

"Why did they kidnap your father?" ask Juan Pablo again.

"Adriano found a packet of heroin in Ilario's room. I don't know, I don't really understand the problem either. One thing is for sure they're looking for Ilario. However, because Ilario is not there then they bring father to lure him to come," explained Gianna again.

"That's what it looks like" murmured Juan Pablo. The Mexican man then straightened up and went back to face Gianna. "You must be tired. You better get some rest. Tomorrow we will return to Rome" he said again. He then stood up and took Gianna to the bed.

Juan Pablo arranged the pillow and allowed the girl to lay down on the bed.

Gianna smiled at Juan Pablo's sweet attitude towards him. "Are you going to sleep now, Juan?" tanyakanya.

"Sure" replied Juan Pablo. He took off the long t-shirt he was wearing. The man again showed off his athletic body with some tattoos. Juan Pablo stood before Gianna. He helps the lover remove the knit cardigan that the girl is wearing. Afterwards, the honey-brown-eyed man took off Gianna's short t-shirt, leaving only a black bra that covered the girl's chest.

The two threw smiles at each other, before kissing affectionately. In the end, Juan Pablo laid Gianna's beautiful body on the bed. A ritual before going to bed took place, until Gianna was completely exhausted and fell asleep.

Time has shown ten o'clock at night, when Juan Pablo got out of bed. He wore a full outfit, as well as a knee-length black trench coat. The Latin man then grabbed his car keys. Before coming out of the room, Juan Pablo was able to kiss the forehead of Gianna who had fallen asleep. The man also corrected the location of the blanket that covered the innocent body of the lover.

Carefully, Juan Pablo stepped out of the room. He's headed for the parking lot. After that, the man drove his vehicle out of the hotel area. The destination is nothing but the port. He drove his car at high speed, so it did not take long for him to arrive at his destination.

After parking his black sedan, Juan Pablo came out and walked for a while. He stopped his steps in front of a building that read La Angela dell'acqua. "Stefano!" call Juan Pablo loud enough. His voice sounded very clear in the quiet atmosphere around the place.

It didn't take long, someone opened the door. He was shocked to see Juan Pablo there. "Boss," he said politely and respectfully. "Stefano, the Big Boss is coming!" yells.

"Where's Stefano?" juan Pablo asked as he walked in.

"Boss," said the man Juan Pablo was looking for. "Why did you come all these nights and get impressed?" ask Stefano wonder.

Juan Pablo looked at the man sharply and coldly. "What's the matter between you and Ilario Moriarty?" ask without talking.

"Ilario?" reset Stefano. "Where do you know that?" He asked back.

"The answer I asked you!" Juan Pablo's tone sounded very firm and emphatic.

Stefano was silent for a moment. A moment later, he again said, "Ilario has cheated" he replied.

"Explain!" the Juan Pablo.

"He took the goods from us and said he would sell them. However, after we investigated it turned out that the item was sold by itself. While the money from the sale went nowhere. We didn't receive a dime" Setefano explained.

"Then, where is Ilario? His family said he had long since disappeared" Juan Pablo probed with a sharp look at Stefano, making the man appear daunted.

"Ilario?" Stefano was silent for a moment. "We've finished off the bastard" he replied.
