The Asmara Jugar the Mafia

The Asmara Jugar the Mafia
Silly Debate

Adriano, Coco and Marco walk vigilantly towards a deserted and uninhabited two-story house. The grasses in his yard grew tall and irregular, like they had never been cared for for months. “I feel very strange. Monique used to not mention this place as Nenad's hideout. He used to tell me that Nenad was in a former location of the war,” Coco said hesitantly.

“Then you shut up and just obey? Jeez!” Marco stopped his sudden steps while patting his forehead. “You have obviously been beguiled by him,” scolds Marco again.

“It's okay. We've already got here. I think we should investigate first,” Adriano tried to break up.

“Why do you keep thinking that I'm in love with Monique?” coco protest not accepted.

“You never questioned anything about everything he did. Not even a suspicion! What does that mean?” firmly Marco.

“I just feel sorry for her, that's all!” elak Coco won't lose.

Watching the debate, Adriano only took a deep breath. Especially when it was in the middle. However, the instant his body stiffened, upon seeing the movement in the window of the top floor of the intended building. “I think we should spread,” he said softly.

“What?” ask Coco and Marco simultaneously.

“I saw someone on the second floor,” replied Adriano with a slightly upturned face.

“We've been missteps. They know we're coming.”

“So, all this is just a trap? This was because Coco, the furious” Marco immediately hit the back of Coco's head with his palm.

“Hei!” Coco rubbed her head while glaring at Marco. “Then, how?” tanyakanya.

Adriano did not answer immediately. He spread his gaze around, then looked at Coco and Marco in turn. “If this is indeed a hiding house, it is impossible without supervision. There must be a hidden camera,” he thought as he rubbed his chin. “We retreat first,” break up Adriano then.

“Retreat? Back to where?” ask Marco.

“To a place invisible to them,” Adriano turned around just like that, leaving Marco and Coco confused. He then walked a few steps to a house right next to Nenad's hideout. Inevitably, Coco and Marco followed in his footsteps.

Adriano stepped slowly, crossing the courtyard and entering the terrace. With his calm and confident style, he knocked on the door of the foreign house. Before long, a middle-aged man came out from there and looked at him in confusion.

“Hai,” greet Adriano while raising his hand. The man replied with a nod. “Do you know who the homeowner is on the side?” tanyanya in English.

However, the man did not answer because he did not understand what the beautiful man was talking about. Undeterred, Adriano grabbed her phone and contacted Valerie who was on standby in a parked vehicle some distance away from where she was standing.

“Val, please translate my sentence,” Adriano pressed the loud speaker button and pointed it at the man.

The man nodded and answered Adriano's question in Croatian which was directly translated by Valerie.

“She said it was the family home of the couple Ljudevit. However, the couple died a year ago. The house was empty for a few days. A man and dozens of his friends occupied the house. He claimed to be the grandson of the couple Ljudevit,” Valerie said.

Adriano was about to ask again, but the old man said something first. Without asking Valerie to re-translate it. “He could not believe that those people were the grandchildren of the Ljudevit couple, because as far as he knew, the Ljudevit couple had no grandchildren,” Valerie explained.

“Hm, so so. Val, please tell him. Can I borrow the upper floor of his house for a minute?” ask Adriano. The blue-eyed man then brought his phone closer to the middle-aged man so that he could clearly listen to Valerie's words. The man then nodded and invited Adriano with Coco and Marco to go upstairs.

“Thank you.” Adriano nodded politely and began to walk up the stairs. Upstairs, he chose one of the rooms directly opposite Ljudevit's house, then stood by a window covered in curtains.

Without being told, Marco immediately took out a small binocular and gave it to Adriano. “What do you see?” tanyakanya.

Adriano rotated the focal point so as to clearly see the shadow across there. “Not seen anything in the top window, but .. wait!” yells stuck.

Adriano kept the binoculars away for a moment, then put them on again. “There was someone in the attic window,” he said, “and that person waved at me.”

“Not! I've never seen that face before.” Adriano hurriedly placed the binoculars on the side of the window, then walked out of the room.

“Hey, where are you going?” ask Coco again.

“Stay here. I'll see him for a minute. Looks like he wants to talk to me something,” Adriano replied lightly.

“Are you crazy? How did you know she wanted to talk to you?” Marco folded his hands in his chest. His eyes showed disbelief.

“My instruction says so,” says Adriano relax. He went down the stairs to say goodbye to the owner of the house, then walked to the side of the courtyard of the Ljudevit residence.

“I don't want to come all the way here and do nothing,” Coco went to follow Adriano.

“Hey, didn't you hear Adriano's orders? He asked us to wait here!” prevent Marco.

“I don't accept orders from anyone,” grin Coco. This time he took a different path from Adriano. He moved to the back of the man's house and jumped over the back fence of the Ljudevit residence.

“Ck! Basic recalcitrant!” grumbled Marco. In the end he chose to follow Coco.

In the front yard of Ljudevit's house, a man Adriano saw from behind the window smiled and approached him. Adriano was alert. One of his hands held a pistol still sheathed in a pistol belt that was coiled in the thigh. The other hand was holding a dagger.

“How are you, Mr D’Angelo?” greet the man when he is right in front of him.

“You know my name?” Adriano knitted his brows.

“Who does not know you? Owner of the largest black organization in Europe.” The foreign man spread his arms, intending to hug Adriano.

But of course Adriano avoided it. “This is unfair. You know my name, but I don't know your name,”.

“Call me Jacob. I am Lionel's best friend,” replied the man.

Suddenly, Adriano pulled a gun and pointed it at the man who claimed to be named Jacob.

Jacob was no less agile either. The man also pulled something from his black jacket, which turned out to be a semi-automatic pistol and pointed it at Adriano's head. “Don't be rash, Sir. I didn't mean to get into trouble with you. I'm just talking. Really am. Look me in the eye and judge for yourself whether I'm lying or not,” Jacob said softly.

Adriano did not have time to answer, a noise was heard from the back of the house. It was Coco who broke down the back door until it broke. He pulled out two of his guns and pulled the trigger. In the room that turned out to be the kitchen, Coco saw a young woman glued to her gaze. The woman was putting something on the dining table.

“Who are you?” asked Coco in a high tone. However, the woman nodded inexplicably.

“She doesn't speak English,” says Marco while cocking her gun. He was right beside Coco who was acting wary.

The woman muttered something they did not understand, then ran out of the kitchen.

“I can't shoot him. I can't hurt a woman. After all, from his clothes, he looks like a waitress,” Marco said.

“Come. We follow where he goes,” take Coco. He opened the kitchen door and saw a large empty room. There was nothing there, other than some statues and wall hangings and some pillar supports in the middle of the room. In the corner of the room, there is a circular staircase to the top floor. The sound of Marco's shoes clashed against the wooden floor, then stopped when a bullet rattled.

“Shielded!” Marco drags Coco and invites her to hide behind one of the pillars. One bullet went back to them and hit the corner of the pillar.

“Damn it!” Coco and Marco blindly returned fire in all directions, to the sound of a thud. They stopped the action and peeked out from behind the pillar that had been hollowed out. Two bodies of the mysterious man were lying lifeless under the stairs.

They almost came out of hiding when they heard another shot. They returned to their place and intended to retaliate. However, before Coco could pull the trigger, she heard a phone ring with a special tone that Coco used to contact Francesca. “Wire! Francy called me!” panicked shouting.
