The short journey had passed, until they arrived at their destination. Juan Pablo stopped his car a few meters in front of the first gate of Casa de Luca. However, Miabella did not go down immediately even though Juan Pablo had ended the story. The man also seemed to have no intention of getting out of the car to open the door for Miabella.
"You go down by yourself. The last time I came here, they wouldn't have let me in if it wasn't for Damiano's help" Juan Pablo recalled the last time he set foot on Casa de Luca land.
"Why don't they like you, Uncle?Even though you look unfriendly and friendly, but I don't think you're a bad person" Miabella said, playing both eyes irregularly.
"Is that so?" Juan Pablo turned to Miabella, then muttered softly. "Comeout. Please give my regards to Damiano."
"All right," Miabella replied as she removed her seatbelt. "Thank you for the ride. I'll send greetings from you to my grandfather." Miabella then opened the door of the classic sedan. Before entering, he had time to gawk from outside the glass window. "Are you going to stay in Italy for a long time?" tanyakanya.
"I don't think so" replied Juan Pablo. "I must return to America immediately. Why why?" ask the Mexican guy.
Miabella was silent for a moment. While his gaze was still he gave to the man behind the wheel. "May I ask for your cell phone number, Uncle?" tanyakanya.
Juan Pablo did not answer immediately. He looked at the beautiful girl who was the fusion between Mia and the younger sister Matteo. Without saying anything, the man reached out with the intention of asking for Miabella's cell phone. Immediately, the daughter continued Adriano was immediately reached into his cellphone from the pocket of the long cargo pants he was wearing.
Miabella presented the advanced communication device to the uncle. He waited until Juan Pablo finished entering the row of numbers that were his cell phone number. After that, Juan Pablo returned the phone to his nephew.
"Can I call you sometime, Uncle?" miabella asked before she straightened up.
"Of course" replied Juan Pablo, smiling in a knot. He drove back from the Casa de Luca area, before Miabella asked a guard to open the gate for her.
The girl had to walk a distance of about two hundred meters in order to arrive at the second gate. After that, then he can enter the front yard Casa de Luca. There, he saw Dante who was already standing with a strange look and was difficult to decipher. However, Miabella still looks ordinary. He walked over to the man who served as his personal bodyguard during his time in Italy.
"What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?" ask him with indifference.
"I'm surrounding the entire plantation area looking for you, miss. Why did you even appear from the front gate?" asked Dante who looked very disappointed. If only the girl in front of him was not the daughter of the master, I don't know what he would do at that time. It felt like Dante wanted to get angry, but there was no way he could vent freely.
"I'm just going around" Miabella said lightly. "That's it. Anyway, I've returned safely." Miabella smiled contrivedly. With no guilt at all, the girl entered the magnificent building where she spent part of her childhood. While Dante just stood while pecking a long breath.
Upon arrival, Miabella headed straight for Damiano's room. He wanted to tell a story immediately and also asked a lot about Juan Pablo Herrera whom he had just met. At that time, Damiano was seen sitting on a chair near the window of the room.
"Grandfather," said Miabella after knocking and opening the door. The girl immediately rushed before the old man who already looked weaker due to the age factor.
"Bella," Damiano replied gently. He smiled as he stroked the head of his favorite grandson, who was now sitting in a row while laying his head on the lap of the old man. "Where have you been? I haven't seen you this whole day" Damiano said softly.
"So I went to my father's grave" replied Miabella.
"Oh yeah? You're praying for him?"' ask Damiano.
"No," Miabella replied, "um .. I mean .. I didn't have time to pray," she continued, making Damiano frown in astonishment.
"You mean?" ask the old man again.
Miabella was silent for a moment. The girl seemed to be thinking about something. A moment later, the eldest daughter of Mia again turned her attention to the grandfather who was still staring at her. "Did you know someone named Juan Pablo Herrera?" miabella asked in the end.
"Juan Pablo?" repeated Damiano. "I know he has decided to move to America with his wife Gianna. If I don't remember wrongly, she last came here when Gianna was five months pregnant. After that, I never heard from him or met him again." Damiano can be old and look very old. But he still has a good memory. "Why are you suddenly asking about Juan Pablo?" tanyanya.
"I just met him at my father's grave" Miabella said. "Is it true that he is my father's brother? If so, why did mom or daddy zio never tell you about it at all. Grandpa didn't tell me anything."
"Juan Pablo's in Italy? Did he come here with his family?" ask Damiano. He didn't respond to a question from Miabella. Damiano must have been confused and did not know what kind of answer to treat Miabella's curiosity.
"I think he just came here by himself. I asked for his cell phone number. Does Grandpa want to talk to him? That uncle was greeting you. It seems like Grandpa became someone special to him." Without waiting for Damiano to answer, Miabella immediately pulled out her phone. He then sought Juan Pablo's contact and contacted the man directly.
"Hi, uncle. Am I bothering you?" miabella asked doubtfully.
"Not at all. I'm packing. I'm going back to America right from here. Why?" juan Pablo asked after giving a little explanation to the nephew.
"Do you have a minute? Grandpa Damiano wants to talk to you." Miabella turned to the grandfather who was still sitting quietly.
"certain. I'd love to talk to him" Juan Pablo said.
Miabella gives Damiano her cell phone. While he was still sitting while putting his chin on the lap of the grandfather who was greeting Juan Pablo.
"How are you, Juan? Long time no news of you. I would love to see my grandson's face." Damiano put on a full face. After a long time, he could finally hear again the voice of Juan Pablo.
"My news is very good, Damiano. How's yours?" The Mexican man asked.
"I'm fine too. However, I feel very tired and want to rest immediately" Damiano said with his attitude that looks very calm.
"Don't force yourself, Damiano. I'd love to meet before I go back to America, but I'm not sure I'm going to get into the Casa de Luca area" Juan Pablo said.
"Come here, son. I also want to meet in person. I'm afraid we can't see each other again if you're back in America" Damiano said slowly. He stroked the head of Miabella, who had only listened to himself talk to Juan Pablo.
Miabella seemed engrossed in listening to the grandfather's talk, until Damiano ended his call. The old man then returned Miabella's cell phone. "Are uncles coming here, Grandpa?" ask the girl.
"I've persuaded him. He'll come tomorrow before leaving for the airport" Damiano said. "Bella, can you help me get to bed?" Damiano looked to be standing up. Miabella immediately wiped it close to the bed.
"Did Grandpa want to lie down?" ask Miabella.
"Yes. I'm so tired and I just want to sleep" Damiano replied after laying down his body.
"alright. I'll bring you dinner later" said Miabella after enveloping the grandfather who only responded with a slow nod. A moment later, Damiano closed his eyes. It didn't take long for the old man to fall asleep.
Miabella, who was still standing by the bed, seemed to be smiling gently to look at the grandfather. His affection for the man who has taken good care of him will never be timeless. Damiano was someone who was always there, even when Mia left him to go to Greece. "Good sleep, Grandpa. Happy resting. You're the best, just like my Daddy zio. I love you so much." A gentle kiss landed on Damiano's sleeping forehead. After that, Miabella decided to get out of there.
The girl walked down the hallway, until she arrived in front of her room. Miabella wants to cleanse her body immediately after a day of burning herself in the sun. Soaking in a bathtub is the most appropriate solution.
While time continued to crawl into the night. Francesca looked busy setting the dining table. While the others have been sitting sweetly in their respective chairs. There is something different this time, namely with the presence of Romeo and Tobiah.
"You look so fresh, Bella" said Francesca, who was done with her work.
"I've had a bath, Auntie," said Miabella. He then saw Damiano's empty chair. "Grandfather hasn't been here yet? I told her I was going to bring her dinner to her room" Miabella said as she got out of her seat and picked up the plate. After filling the plate with food, the girl intends to go to Damiano's room.
"Why not just invite Damiano to eat together here" said Coco.
"alright. I'll pick him up first." Miabella put the plate back on the table. He went to Damiano's room.
Upon arrival there, the atmosphere was so dark because the room lights had not been turned on. Miabella was astonished. "Grandfather, are you awake?" ask after pressing the switch button. Damiano was still asleep. "Gosh, you're still asleep apparently." A gentle smile fell on the lips of the beautiful girl.
Miabella then approached. He sat down on the edge of the bed and grabbed the grandfather's hand. "Grandfather, wakeup. It's time for dinner. I was going to bring your food here, but Uncle Ricci wanted you to eat with us" said the girl. Unknowingly, he rubbed the back of Damiano's hand. However, there was no response at all from the sleeping old man.
"Grandfather ...." Miabella was unable to continue her words when she saw Damiano's pale face.
