The Asmara Jugar the Mafia
Ash In The Jars

Damiano's body has been in the funeral home for two days. Many colleagues, close relatives and the top officials of the organization came to pay their last respects to him. However, that day was the last day Damiano's stiff body was placed in a coffin. The body will be cremated in a crematorium in downtown Brescia, not far from the plantation.

Everyone was present in the process of burning Damiano's body, not least Juan Pablo who came and took the back seat. About two hours the process takes place. The ashes had been kept neatly in a porcelain jar, and were specially ordered by the de Luca clan chief, Marco.

The motive of the white-colored jar was not arbitrary. There are carved clan symbols that are equipped with a sentence in typical Roman Latin. The sentence was written repeatedly and was engraved coiled to the surface of the urn. A philosophy derived from an ancient Roman-era writer named Marcus Tullius Cicero which reads: 'gloria virtutem tamquam umbra sequitur'. The sentence itself has the meaning that the power of glory is like a shadow. A saying that Damiano was very fond of in his life.

The cremation officers handed the jar over to Miabella, who acted as the main descendant of Roberto de Luca. The gray-eyed beautiful girl accepted it with trembling hands. It is beyond measure how devastated he feels to receive what is left of a Damiano. "Grandfather,” his whimpering sagged.

Miabella's cries grew louder, as she walked out of the cremation. On his left and right side lined all the members of the de Luca clan who were all wearing black suits. Each of them also has the same tattoo, the Trinity Knot on the back of the right hand, as a symbol that they are members of the large family of the de Luca clan.

Meanwhile, the clan elders were already standing gallantly beside their respective cars that would accompany Miabella's car towards the secret hall. The hall is located on the basement floor of the Casa de Luca building, where Matteo and Marco were named as the chairmen.

It was the first time that Miabella had set foot in the secret hall. A cold and sacred aura immediately greeted the beautiful girl who was holding the urn. One of the elders pointed him at a staircase leading to the stage, which was attached to one side of the hall wall. On the wall, there are many square-shaped holes with parallel and terraced formations. Each hole contains an urn with different colors, motifs and carvings.

The wall was indeed presented as a form of respect, for people who are very meritorious in serving the leaders and direct descendants of the clan de Luca.

Carefully, Miabella climbed the stairs one by one until she arrived in front of the wall.

One of the guards rushed to the princess Matteo. He prepared a ladder for the girl. Miabella immediately climbed the stairs, until her hand could reach the highest hole. He put the urn containing Damiano's ashes there.

After which, Miabella descended slowly then turned to face everyone who had filled the hall. His gray eyes watched one by one the people present. He watched them carefully. The girl then exhaled a long breath before starting the reception.

“Buongiorno a tutti. Onore che tutti voi possiate essere qui. Oggi ho consegnato la salma di Damiano Baresi al pilastro dell'esecuzione. Depongo qui le sue ceneri per preservare il grande no. Della famiglia de Luca. vivra sul suo trono eterno in questo luogo, per proteggerci tutti (Good morning everyone. It's an honor that you can all be here. On this day, I have handed over Damiano Baresi's body to the pillars of the organization's enforcers. I buried his ashes here to keep the big name de Luca alive. He will live on his eternal throne in this place, to protect us all).”

Finished giving her speech, Miabella lowered her head and returned to tears. The shadow of childhood with Damiano, filled the memory of the girl.

However, boisterous applause from everyone present, making Miabella had to raise her face again. The elders raised their right hands while showing off their respective gold pins. While the adjutants make a typical whistle that is usually heard during major events, such as war or death warnings.

A faint smile rose from the beautiful lips of Miabella, as her mother and father continued to love her, watching her with awe and pride. Especially when many people confuse their names. “Viva figlia Matteo (Save the daughter of Matteo)!”

One of the guards reached out and helped Miabella to get down. The girl rushed towards Adriano and hugged him for a long time. After that, he moved to Mia. Soon, he let go of the embrace and greeted everyone standing there.

The special honor he gave to the clan elder, namely by greeting while bowing his body. That kind of attitude he did, until he arrived at the last row of guests where Juan Pablo was.

The girl smiled sweetly, then bowed to the uncle. Coco who saw that was really surprised, to the point that her handsome face turned a dead red. “Did the little devil not know that it was the man who killed his father?” hiss Coco clenched her hands.

“I'll scold Bella later!” growled Coco then. The tail of her eyes followed Miabella's movements coming out of the hall, followed by the elders and all the members of the de Luca organization. While the women and children came out after Marco directed them to the garden, where the banquet took place. Lastly, Coco came out of there, along with Juan pablo.

“If they had known that you were the one who killed Matteo, it might be your turn to be cremated,” Coco chirped at Juan Pablo laughing mockingly.

“No problem. I will thank whoever killed me, ” Juan Pablo replied calmly and flatly.

“You are still arrogant,” hardik Coco with a sharp gaze like a wild animal that will pounce on its prey.

“Of course not, Mr Francesco Ricci. I don't intend to be arrogant. I'm just telling the truth. Most of my time has been wasted. I don't know how many lives were lost from the body due to my bastard hands.” Juan Pablo opened his palm with glaring eyes. He noticed that big, sturdy looking palm. “I promised I would never make the same mistake again." Juan Pablo was shut down for a while. Clear details dripped in the corner of his eye.

“Miabella is being nice to you, because she doesn't know the truth yet,” Coco sneered in a mocking tone.

“You're wrong, Ricci. I told Miabella everything. No one is missed,” said Juan Pablo kalem.

“What?” Coco was in disbelief. “Then, why is he still paying your respects?”

Juan Pablo smiled faintly, then walked away leaving the hall. The goal is to go to the park, where everyone is gathering.

While Coco who was still curious, moved to follow the man who was so similar to Matteo earlier. “I can't believe Miabella could act like that to you. I know he has the same character as Matteo. He will not be that easy to forgive the person who has ruined his life and happiness,” Coco continued.

Juan Pablo stopped his steps suddenly. He then faced towards Coco. Highlight the originally sharp eyes, turning heartily instantly. “In the beginning, Miabella was surprised. His eyes were glazed. But then the girl smiled so sweetly at me. He said that he would not be vengeful, because ... because ...” The Mexican man did not continue his words.

Juan Pablo looked down and rubbed his cheek. “That child .. he trusted me. He said that I was a good man and deserved a second chance, because I was still willing to visit his father's grave. He was convinced that the guilt that haunted me for a lifetime had been a far more severe punishment than a terrible death. Miabella does not want to add to my suffering by fostering resentment and hostility,” Juan Pablo said in the end.

“The little girl who used to cry in fear when she saw me pointing a gun at her mother has now turned into a very strong woman. Miabella deserves the big name of de Luca. I'm so proud of him.” Juan Pablo smiled faintly, then continued his steps to join Miabella.

While Coco was just quietly glued to her place. The words that Juan Pablo had uttered felt like he was slapping himself so hard. The pain of losing the figure of a beloved friend, slowly treated. Juan Pablo has accepted karma for his actions. He is tormented, though Coco cannot avenge Matteo's death.

In fact, not necessarily Matteo holds a grudge because of the tragic death. Moreover, Coco felt that Matteo had calmed down in heaven. This belief should have made him realize that Matteo had accepted his destiny.

“Gosh ” Coco shook her head then laughed softly. His mind opened and reminded him of something about Matteo's most precious relic, Miabella.
