The Asmara Jugar the Mafia
Memories that Return

Mia woke up breathing a sigh of relief, when she found her husband sleeping behind her. Adriano wrapped her arms around Mia's waist, who was hugging Miabella. The beautiful woman smiled. I don't know when she fell asleep in Miabella's bed. Carefully, Mia removed Adriano's hand from above her body. He then got up and shuffled down. Mia usually wakes up first from her daughter or husband.

The woman then went to the bathroom to clean up for a while. When she opened the bathroom door and was about to get out of there, Mia found Adriano standing straight behind the door. “You're awake, Mia? Are you okay?” asked the blue-eyed man gently.

“I'm fine, Honey. Where were you last night?” Mia asked back.

Adriano did not answer immediately. He was worried that Mia would come back anxious if she told him about the meeting with Lionel last night, so the man decided not to respond to the wife's question. Adriano even embraces the body of Mia who is still wrapped in a white towel. He kissed the woman's lips gently. His hands moved mischievously through Mia's chest and hips, until the sound of Miabella calling them both.

“Mother, Daddy Zio, what are you guys doing there?” the beautiful toddler squinted his eyes while looking at the astonishment at his two parents.

Surprised, Mia hurriedly pushed Adriano's body away and acted as if nothing had happened. “Good morning, Honey. I'll get dressed first and prepare breakfast for you,” Mia comes over to Miabella and kisses her forehead and cheeks.

“After breakfast, I will take you for a walk,” Adriano said, making the mother and child simultaneously turn to him.

“Way to where?” they both asked simultaneously.

Adriano chuckled amusedly at the compactness of the two of them. “I plan to take you to Venice first, before we go home to Monaco today,” he replied later.

“Venice?” reset Mia. He was immediately stunned because he did not expect that Adriano suddenly took him to the small town.

“Why should we go there?” her tanyanya softly with teary eyes while reminiscing about her past.

“It's okay. I want you to calm your mind a little. Yesterday, I was very upset when I saw you almost back hit by anxiety disorders,” explained Adriano as he stepped into the bathroom.

A single tear trickled down the corner of Mia's lips, as she recalled most of the memories of her life she had spent there. The city of Gondola, the city of a million memories, where he grew up under the care of his beloved father. It was there that he met Matteo for the first time. Venice is also a city that made him have to experience bloody events to make himself experience severe trauma. The death of Valentino, who had just finished the wedding procession with him, came back to his mind.

“Mother?” call Miabella, make Mia instantly aware.

“Ah, Yes, Dear?” Mia immediately turned around and stroked the hair of her beloved daughter. “Wait here, yes. Soon daddy zio will be out of the bathroom. I'll wear it first then make you breakfast.” Immediately, Mia headed for the dressing room and immediately got dressed. After which, his steps seemed to rush towards the main kitchen. However, how surprised he was when he found the atmosphere in Casa de Luca to be much more crowded than usual. There were many people there, one of whom Mia knew was Benigno.

“What is this?” Mia patted Benigno's shoulder slowly. The big tall man with tattoos all over his body immediately turned to Mia.

“Ah, Madam,” say respectfully. “Bos invited us all to come here for breakfast together,” Benigno replied politely. As much as possible he hid the real reason. Adriano had warned him and the other men not to say anything that might cause anxiety for Mia.

“Oh, so it seems.” Mia hesitated a little over Benigno's explanation, but she didn't bother him much. Mia averted all the heartache by helping the waiter prepare a large meal that morning.

An hour has passed. All dishes are ready on a special table for a large banquet, located in the back garden of the Casa de Luca building. Damiano also appeared to be friendly with Dante, Serafino, and Benigno's men who had come all the way from Rome. The atmosphere was getting warmer when Adriano came by holding Miabella who already looked neat and beautiful. “Grandpa!” exclaim the cute toddler as he rushed towards Damiano.

While Adriano chose to approach Benigno in a whisper, “I'll be leaving for Venice this morning. I'm asking you to stay here at least until tomorrow morning, just just in case.”

Adriano was about to say a few more words when Mia waved at him. “Come, fill your stomach first,” take Adriano while patting Benigno on the back.

The breakfast was so warm and cheerful. Unfortunately Coco couldn't join in there. However, there are still many interesting chats interspersed with Miabella chatter. The warmth did not end even though Adriano resigned first, to invite his small family to take a walk to Venice.

Adriano drove two hours to get there. The clear water canals, cafes and gondolas are scattered, immediately making Mia's feelings warm and bitter. “I spent my teenage years here, Adriano,” Mia's voice sounds so soft. His gaze continued to be fixed out the car window with glaring eyes.

“Myah ...” Mia started sobbing as she recalled Mr.'s shady face. Gio.

“Do you want to visit him? I'd be happy to drop you off,” haggard Adriano.

Mia turned to Adriano, then looked at Miabella for a moment. He smiled then nodded.

“Alright,” Adriano nodded and turned the wheel. He drove his vehicle with directions from Mia, until Adriano's luxury car stopped in front of the gate of a city public cemetery that looked very clean and tidy.

“Where is this, Daddy Zio?” ask Miabella. His gray eyes seemed perfectly rounded.

“We'll meet your grandfather, darling. Father of mother,” said Mia gently before she got off the vehicle first.

Adriano got out of the car and opened the passenger door. He took down Miabella from the toddler's seat, then led her daughter to follow Mia's steps into the cemetery. The slender body stopped in front of a navel with the sign of the cross. The name and photo of the middle-aged man are on the gravestone. “Is that your father, Mia?” Adriano glued for a moment staring at the portrait of a shady face but also full of authority.

“Iya, Adriano. He was my father,” Mia sat down, then lowered her head while praying near the pusara of the father for a while. When she finished, Mia looked up and rubbed the photo of mr. Gio, then stood up and forced a smile.

“Can I visit one more tomb?” the question is with Adriano.

“No problem even though you want to visit all the tombs in this place. I will keep you company,” funny Adriano while smiling widely, showing dimples and rows of white teeth charming.

“Daddy Zio, you promised to take me around town, not around the tomb,” Miabella protest.

Both Mia and Adriano, open to hear the babbling of their little princess who is getting smarter and more.

“Just a moment, dear,” said Mia while leading Miabella to a row of tombs located not far from the center of Mr. Gio. However, Mia's steps came to a halt as she stared at a man standing facing a tomb she was about to head to. Mia's heart was racing, with an incredulous look looking at someone not far in front of her.

“What's up, Mia?” ask Adriano astonishment. However, Mia did not answer. He approached the man while patting him on the shoulder. “Vale?” call Mia.

The man looked up and was surprised. “Mi-Mia?” hesitated.

“You-you're Vale? This is impossible,” Mia shook her head slowly with eyes that returned glazed.
