One Piece Puzzle

Yohan looked at the photos from the printed cctv. He put some of the photos in a brown map.

"Is this everything?" Yohan asked his men.

"Yes boss, but bos— there's something the boss should see from the cctv camera of the highway area near the tree park."

"What?"

"In the cctv it was recorded two girls quarreling, but it seems like it was more of a bullying. An older-looking girl pushed the smaller girl down the highway, then the pushed girl fell and got hit by a car."

"Is such a thing important to talk about? Go!" Yohan said, he shook his hand, telling his men to leave the room.

"But boss, the problem is—"

"You're deaf, huh?! I said go!" Yohan snapped, His men ran out of the room.

Yohan was massaging her temple, for almost a month she was struggling desperately to complete her main task now.

Finally, now with a clue, Yohan intends to report the progress of her search for Angel to her master. The man took his cell phone and sent a short message to Ray.

Sir, I've got one loophole to find Miss Angel. Can I see you now?

Before long the message was sent, notification of incoming calls from Ray appeared on the screen of Yohan's phone, he immediately raised the call.

"Come to my house now, I'm waiting for you in the study." Ray said, after saying that, Ray immediately closed his call.

Yohan rushes to get her car keys, she goes to Ray's house to tell Ray about her search results.

The man drove his car at high speed, the road was very quiet because it was late at night, there were only a few vehicles passing by.

Arriving at Ray's house, Ray's personal assistant went straight inside. As a personal assistant, of course, he had easy access to go in and out of his master's house without knocking on the door.

Assistant Yohan immediately stepped into Ray's study, opening the room. There Ray is seen sitting while reading a book.

Ray smiled at Yohan,

"How have you been since you haven't seen me for so long?" Ask Ray.

"I'm fine sir." Reply Yohan.

"Sit down."

Assistant Yohan sat down with Ray.

Ray put his book on the table, then saw Yohan who looked serious, making Ray chuckle a little. He just realized, his assistant was very stiff, or maybe— because he was less mingled with Yohan.

"So what did you find?" Ask Ray.

Yohan took the chocolate map from her briefcase. He handed the map to Ray.

"These are photos I printed from cctv cameras around the tree garden area. There are several photos of girls who often come every weekend and look always with their mother. It takes a long time to search and recover data that has passed eighteen years. That's why I can get it now. I'm sorry sir."

Ray looked at the photos in the map, he was seen checking one by one photos that amounted to about twenty more sheets.

"It doesn't matter, you've tried so hard anyway." Said Ray.

"Yes, sir, thank you."

Ray paused on one of the photos, he looked at her fixedly.

The photo shows a middle-aged woman hugging a girl. But unfortunately the girl's face was not visible because she turned her back to the camera.

But, the middle-aged woman's face— Ray really recognized her, it's Angel's mother.

A woman who was like her own mother, the woman was always warm and friendly to her, she even had Ray call himself mama. How could Ray forget that face.

"I found her, although her face was not visible, but her mother's face, I remember it clearly." Said Ray.

"Did you remember his mother's name?"

"If I had remembered a long time ago, I would have looked for Angel's mother and could have found Angel sooner."

"I'm sorry for my stupid question sir." Said Yohan.

"Do you have any other pictures related to this girl?" Ray showed me the photo he saw. Assistant Yohan seemed to think for a moment, then she seemed to remember something and took out another photo from inside her briefcase.

Ray scrunched his forehead, he never saw Angel in the company of the guards while playing with him, and also, it seemed like Angel from an upper middle class family, not from a super rich family.

Ray gasped for his breath, one question answered, another question came up.

"Yohan, you try to find out who owned this car that year, no matter how long it took you, I'll keep waiting for your report." Said Ray.

"Good sir."

"You can go and rest."

"Yes sir. Excuse me" Assistant Yohan stood up, then stepped towards the exit of Ray's workroom.

"Yohan." Call Ray, make Yohan's assistant stop her footsteps and turn to face her master.

"Yes sir."

"Thank you." Ray.

"Eh?"

"Thank you for staying by my side all this time. Whatever vices others say about you, I— will still believe you." Ray said sincerely.

Yohan looked at Ray in wonder, what exactly happened to her master? Why did the man suddenly say something that moved his heart.

"Master, for me there is no master other than mister Ray. No matter what happens, I will remain standing next to you. Even if you leave me, I will wait for you until you come back to me." Said Yohan.

Ray nodded and smiled.

"Then excuse me, Mr. Raymond." Yohan said, then turned around and opened the door of the study, then she walked out of the room.

Ray stared at his assistant's departure with a grateful look on his face. He is very grateful to have Yohan who continues to be loyal to him. A small kindness that he gave Yohan back then, turned out to give her a bigger reward.

Ray looked back at the photo, he smiled widely, the more pleasure spread into his heart.
