Alex who heard it just quietly did not flinch, but the man gave a sharp look to Yohan.

Yohan ignored Alex's gaze, preferring to bring her face closer to Alex's ear, then whispered a word that made Alex more silent.

"You're the— feeling guilty about him, right? You think I don't know what you've done to that woman. You're the man who planted the seed in his womb but was irresponsible." Whisper Yohan in Alex's ear.

Alex's hands clenched tightly, he was angry, how could Yohan know the truth, how did the man know?

Yohan seemed to walk backwards, away from Alex, the man seemed to justify his slightly messy clothes, then pat Alex on the shoulder several times and passed from Alex's presence.

Alex stopped it again.

"Wait, how do you know? Does Ray know that too?" Ask Alex.

"Where do I know it doesn't matter, and does Mr Ray know it? I haven't told him. Since I don't care about your life, I didn't tell Ray this."

Alex looks upset that Yohan ignored one important question, the man then pulls Yohan's collar, asking Yohan to answer that question.

"Say, where did you come from and how did you know?" Ask Alex.

Yohan brushed aside Alex's hand that was still holding her, the man seemed silent for a moment, but then began to have interest in answering questions from Alex.

"I just accidentally saw you with her a few times. Do you remember when the company was in trouble? At that time I suspected you, so I followed your movements, but unexpectedly I had to know something embarrassing. Hear that! You did something dishonorable that would be a disgrace to the Gavin family!" Yohan.

"You know what about me?! You don't know how my life is! So don't judge me if you don't feel how I've lived all this time!"

"I told you, I don't care about your life. I just don't like it when you make a bad name for Mr. Ray's family for what you did!" Yohan said, he then turned around again to leave.

"Don't tell anyone." Alex said, making Yohan again stop his footsteps.

"I beg you." His gaze was heartbroken at Yohan who was silent behind him.

"That means you won't take responsibility for him? You're gonna keep pretending you're innocent? Do you have a heart?" Yohan asked, she said that without looking at Alex.

"I can't marry her, so let's just say you don't know." Said Alex.

Without them noticing, a middle-aged woman from earlier stood up watching and listening to the quarrel of the two of them.

Calista, Alex's birth mother stepped closer to Alex, then slapped his son's face.

Alex gasps in shock when he suddenly gets a hard slap that turns out to be from his own mother. Yohan looked back when the sound of the slap was heard echoing to the corner of the room.

"What did you say?! You're not going to marry the woman you already hamili?! You consider yourself a man?! I never thought I'd give birth to a child like you." He said with a trembling voice, his body felt weak, he could not accept the fact that his son was someone who was very bad behavior.

"Mother." Alex touched his mother's hand. But then, his mother brushed his hand away.

Calista's tears came down, he stared disappointedly at his son.

"Don't call me mother if you don't want to take responsibility for the wrongs you've done."

"Mom, I have my own reasons why I can't marry her." Answer Alex.

Hearing that, Alex laughed.

"Therefore I did not marry her! Mom, do you think with me in charge of her, she'll be happy?! No, she won't be happy, because I don't love her, this heart, there's another woman who has it." Said Alex.

"Love can grow by getting used to Alex." Advice from mother.

"No, mom was wrong! If that's the case, then why don't you get your love?! I didn't marry her because I didn't want her to have the same fate as mom."

"Alex, therefore don't be like your father. Take responsibility right." Pinta.

"I can't, I don't love her, I can't!"

"You can forget the woman you love! Then you can start loving Rachel and your son."

Alex shook his head,

"Can't! I said I couldn't! Since the woman I love is also pregnant with my son, I've proposed to her." Alex said originally, whether it was a lie or the truth, but his mother seemed so hit hard when she heard Alex easily say that.

His mother was in disbelief. Likewise Yohan who was still standing there, the man was also surprised by Alex's confession. Alex who looks good in front of him, turned out to be very bad.

"Why did you disappoint my mother?! What's mom's fault? I'm sorry, if you pay less attention to yourself, I'm really a bad mother for not being able to properly educate you." Said Alex's mother who then suddenly fell on the floor.

"Mother." Alex wanted to help his mother stand up, but she refused to touch her hand again.

"Go, I don't want to see you."

"Mother-in-law!" Ana screamed worriedly.

The girl had just wanted to get down from the top floor, then she accidentally saw her mother-in-law suddenly fall on the floor.

"Alex, what's wrong?" Ana asks, she crouches down and helps her mother-in-law stand up, but unfortunately, she is not strong enough to hold Alex's mother's body.

"Alex help me out." Ana said, but Alex's hand was pushed back and rejected by her mother.

Ana who saw that was a bit familiar with the situation. The girl had guessed that the mother and child were fighting.

"Assisten Yohan, help me." Pinta Ana on Ray's assistant still standing there.

Yohan nodded, then moved to help Alex's mother stand up. After which, he also helped the middle-aged woman walk towards her room.

Ana looked at Alex for a moment,

"Alex, I don't know what made you and your mother fight. But remember, she is the woman who gave birth to you, never hurt her heart or— one day, you will regret it. I say this as someone who no longer has a real mother." He said, then the girl stepped away following Yohan who brought her mother-in-law.

Alex rubbed his face rough, he never thought that it would eventually become like this.

From upstairs, Ray notices Alex's emotional and frustrated movements. His mother's other brother just looked at him without wanting to interfere.

Ray sighed for a moment, and then, he went back into his room.
