The Destiny

The Destiny
The Subconscious

Ana runs over to a man four years older than her, the little man turns to her, she waves her hand at Ana and smiles.

"Sister!" Call Ana, return the little man's hand.

"You're late." Said the little man.

"sorry. Oh— what are you carrying?" Little Ana asked.

"This is a food box." Answer the little man.

"I know! I asked about the contents." Said little Ana with her pouting face.

"Hahaha yes, this is— I brought food, my mother made it. Oh, where's mama?" Asked the little man, he did indeed call Ana's mother by the call of mama.

"Mama was accompanying Anita to buy ice cream." Answer little Ana.

"Anita? Who's she?"

"My cousin, she's three years older than me." Said Ana, he showed the number of three with his little finger.

"Then you should call him brother." Saying little Ray.

Ray sat in the park seat, followed by Ana who was waiting for the lunch box to open.

"He's my aunt's son, so he's my cousin's sister." Ana.

"Ah, you deserve to call her by just saying her name." Ray said as he opened his lunch box.

When the little man opened his lunch box, Ana immediately picked up the sandwich inside the lunchbox.

"Sister Ray." Call Ana with a mouthful of sandwiches.

"Hm." The little man named Ray looked at her with an anxious smile looking at Ana who spoke with a mouth full of such food.

"Other times you have to bring food, it's delicious." Ana.

Ray laughed a little, though,

"Basic of the eater." Ray said as he pinched Ana's cheek, making Ana complain of pain, but then both laughed off as usual.

From distance~

"Auntie why does she call him Angel?" Ask a girl who is standing not far from Ana and Ray.

"Ah that's because Ray followed the way auntie called Ana." Said Ana's mother.

"Angel's? Doesn't that mean an angel if it's translated into English?" Ask her daughter to Ana's mother.

"Hm, that's right Anita. Your father didn't waste telling you to take an English course." Marina, Ana's mother was stroking Anita's hair.

"I want to." too."

"What?"

"I want to be called Angel too." Said Anita, a nine-year-old girl.

"Ah it— "

Anita is seen putting on a sour face and upset, she throws her ice cream, then walks over to Ana and Ray who are eating a sandwich.

"Cousin brother!" Call Anita.

Ana turned her head and smiled, she ran towards Anita who was approaching her.

"Don't call me Anita!" His word.

Ana frowned confusedly,

"Whatchu mean? Is that your name?"

"Then what about you? Your name is Ana, why does everyone call you Angel which means angel?! My mother called you that too! You don't even look like an angel!"

Six-year-old Ana does not understand the identity of a nine-year-old girl. Ana just stared at Anita innocently.

"From now on don't call me Anita!"

Ana's mother came and broke them both, she sat down crouching to position herself parallel to Anita.

"Anita baby, listen to auntie, you don't have to be angry anymore huh. All right, from now on your name is Angel, ah yeah what if Angelina? Doesn't that sound right to you?"

Ana's mother knew how the nine-year-old girl felt.

Since childhood, Anita experienced a broken home, then her parents divorced, and her mother, who is the younger sister of Ana's mother, since divorcing her husband, and her mother, he became depressed and was unable to give his daughter the right kind of affection.

That is what makes Anita a greedy girl who is always thirsty with attention and affection.

Therefore, he had always been envious of Ana.

"You hear Ana?! From now on— call me Angel or Angelin!" Anita.

Ana nodded along with her smile.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Who is that guy?" Anita asked, she pointed at Ray who was still waiting for them.

"Ah that's Ray's brother, he's my friend, let me introduce him."

"He's your friend? I also want to be friends with a handsome man like him! You should introduce me to him!" Anita.

"All right, let's go there." Ana's mother held the two girls together towards Ray who was smiling towards them.

The closer Anita gets, the clearer she sees Ray, it's like monkey love, a girl's first love. Anita smiled happily.

But then, suddenly some people in black appeared to approach Anita, they bowed respectfully to Anita and said that her father had come home from another country and waited for Anita in the car to give a gift. Hearing that Anita also forgot her desire to get acquainted with her childhood first love. Without further ado, Anita says goodbye to Ana's mother and runs away.

After that, Ana and her mother walked up to Ray.

"Is she Anita?" Ask Ray.

"Name Angel." Said Ana's mother.

"Angel?" Ray said as he looked towards Ana who had eaten her sandwich again.

"The name is the same as this greedy Angel huh." Canda Ray, the man said it while pointing at Ana who was eating her sandwich.

Mother Ana laughed. As for Ana, the little girl only responded with a wide smile.

"Ana." A voice calling out Ana's name, made Ana seem to be thrown in an empty space.

"Ana." The voice sounded again.

Ana swept her gaze across the direction, looking for a figure who called out her name. Until he finally found a glimmer of light, the girl walked towards the direction of the light that was becoming more and more dazzling as she approached him.

"Ana— wake up." The voice came back again, a voice that pushed him into the light.

Ana's eyelids seemed to move, then slowly, Ana opened her eyes.

"Ana." That voice again.

Ray who saw Ana was conscious, the man immediately called a doctor to check on Ana's condition.

"Mama." Ana said softly, her throat felt dry.

Shortly after, a doctor, accompanied by a nurse, walked into the room.

"The condition has improved, but the patient still needs rest for recovery after surgery." Said the doctor.

After the doctor and nurse came out, Ray approached Ana, holding Ana's hand.

"Ana, it's me— Ray." Said Ray.

Ana frowned, in her heart she repeated the name, Ray?
