The Destiny

The Destiny
Make peace

"Ana, wait." Call Ray, but the girl doesn't listen to him. Not that she did not hear, but pretended not to hear and rather ignored the voice of her husband who just kept calling her name.

Ray gave the paper bag containing the food box to Alex who was still standing there.

The man then chased his wife who had entered the elevator. The elevator door closed before Ray could get inside.

"Dam." Mumbled Ray. Then he saw the emergency stairway. Without a second thought, the man walked there and descended to the ground floor past the fifteen emergency stairs.

Ray stopped occasionally to catch his breath. He continued down the stairs to the last step. Opening the door, he hurried to sweep the view across the main lobby. I wish Ana was still there.

But there was no sign of the girl still there. Ray comes out of his company building, looking to catch up with Ana who might just go home. But then he remembered that his wallet, car keys and cell phone were left in his room.

Ray rubbed his face rough, he ruffled his hair in frustration. No matter the gazes of those who knew him, he still expressed his frustration in public.

With wide steps, Ray walked back inside the company building. He took a quick step towards the executive elevator to return to his room.

The elevator was sliding towards the fifteenth floor. When the elevator door opened, Ray walked out, loosened his tie and removed his upper shirt button because he felt sultry.

Ray stepped in without caring for the few people who seemed to greet him, even he ignored his secretary who had returned at the secretarial table.

The man opened the door of his room, he was about to take his car keys, wallet and cell phone. But, just as he entered, he was taken aback by the figure of the girl who had made himself look chaotic.

"Ana?" Calling Ray, he walked over to Ana who was sitting on the sofa with Alex.

Ana looked at him lazily, the girl took her eyes off Ray.

"How did you get here?" Ray asked, he remembered that he had seen Ana get into the elevator to get down to the ground floor.

"Oh so I can't be here?!" Ana asked in an annoyed tone.

"No, it's not. But didn't you just get into the elevator and head for the ground floor. How are you here now? I chased you hard down fifteen stairs, but you were here." Said Ray.

"I didn't tell you to come after me." Answer Ana ketus.

Ray exhaled, then sat down beside Ana.

"So how did you get here?" Ask Ray again.

"Is it important to question?!" Ana said annoyedly.

"She came back again after reaching the ground floor. Ana wants to listen to your explanation." Alex said mediate the husband-wife quarrel.

Yes, Ana had arrived on the ground floor and wanted to go directly from the TNP company building. But, he suddenly thought, why he was so emotional, why not listen to Ray's explanation first.

After thinking a few times she finally decided to go back to Ray's room and ask for an explanation from her husband. He'll try to give Ray a chance to explain everything. But, when he got back to Ray's room, he only saw Alex sitting on the couch.

"really?" Ray asked Ana.

"Do you want to explain it or not?!" Ana asked in an impatient tone. He doesn't like long talk. He has been holding back his emotions from not doing anything unwanted.

"Yes, I'll explain." Ray held his breath for a moment before finally exhaling and looked back at Ana.

"Everything you saw just now, it's not what you think." Said Ray.

"What am I really thinking?!"

"He's just my secretary."

"I know." Answer Ana ketus.

"He massaged my shoulder not because of my will but his own initiative." Said Ray.

"Not because of your will but his own initiative?"

Ray nodded, though,

"Yes." Yeah."

Ana laughed sarcastically at her husband.

"You're stupid, huh? If you want to make excuses, look for reasons that sound convincing." Said Ana.

"But that's the truth."

"Stupid, if you don't want to, you can refuse him, he's your subordinate, if you say no, then he won't do it, let alone he's still very new to working as your secretary, he wouldn't dare unless you wanted that massage and really enjoyed it." Ana.

Checkmate, Ray was speechless, everything Ana said was like a sharp blade piercing him with a single stab.

Alex, the man almost choked on his food because he held back a laugh when he saw Ray could not dwell anymore.

His half-brother looked at Alex with a look of annoyance. Ray pulls out the food box Ana brought from Alex's presence.

"It's mine, and you better get out of here." Ray was upset.

"Oh yeah okay, I'll go. I won't interfere with your quarrel anymore. " Said Alex with a laugh, the man then stood up and stepped out of Ray's room.

"I'll go too." Ana said, returning Ray's focus to his wife again.

"Ana, Ana, please forgive me. I let her massage me because I was so exhausted. My body has been feeling tired lately, so I think it can ease my fatigue for a moment." Honest Ray.

"You can ask me at home to massage you. Why go with another woman?! In a closed room like this, it's just you and him. What if you like it and move on to things I can't imagine?!"

Ray clasped Ana's hand and looked at the girl.

"I can't do that. Although there's my father's blood that has two wives running through my body. But that doesn't mean I'll follow in his footsteps. To me, you are the only one. I would never do bad things like that. I can't hurt your heart, seeing you suffer is just as much as making me suffer." Said Ray.

Like other women, who will be devastated by the words of their loved ones. So did Ana, she burst out with Ray's words that seemed to touch her heart.

The girl sighed and returned Ray's gaze.

"But promise me, if you feel tired or unwell tell me and don't ask anyone for a massage but me."

Ray nodded his head, though,

"Yes, I promise. You can keep my promise."

Ana smiled at him, stroked her husband's hair and tidied it. Ray's hair looks messy and disheveled.

"I forgive you." Ana.
