The Destiny

The Destiny
Understand

Life is really about continuing life itself — Unknow.

The car was parked in Ana's yard.

It looks like Ray is out with Alex, both of them come there for their own reasons.

Ray can't follow Alex or his stepmother's advice to come to this house tomorrow. He could not delay, for him something that was resolved quickly would be better.

Breath begins their steps when they enter the house.

"Sister Ray?" Kenan's voice sounded from the direction of the living room.

"Kenan, where's Ana?" Ask Ray.

"He's in Rachel's room." Answer Kenan.

"Thank you." Ray then passed to Rachel's room on the second floor.

From a distance, the door of the room was wide open. Inside there is Ana, Rachel and Rachel's older sister, Rio.

"Ana." Call Ray.

The girl called by her name turned her head, returning her husband's gaze.

Ana just silently did not answer, but her gaze was still fixed on the man.

"You came at last." Said Rio who was addressed to Alex, Rachel's older brother looked at Alex with a look of unfriendly face.

Alex held his breath for a moment until then a heavy breathing sound came from him. The man stepped closer to Rachel who was sitting holding her baby.

In front of the woman, she stared at the tiny baby who was awake, black eyes and lashes, very similar to Alex.

"I'm sorry." Alex said, his legs flexed, kneeling to women who had struggled alone to conceive and give birth to their children.

Rachel was silent, wanting to speak, but as if there was an adhesive locking her mouth.

Everything in the room was silent, no one wanted to interfere or interfere with both.

"I'm sorry, really, I'm sorry. I know it's too late, but I have my own reasons for it. I'm —"

"Better late, than never." As for Rachel, her eyes looked at the man with warmth, neither a look of anger nor hatred was engraved there.

"I know it's hard on you, and so am I. I was also very surprised to find out if that man was you. It's funny, we spent the night a couple of times, but I don't recognize you." Rachel.

"Sorry." Alex said, there was no other word he could say but an apology, a thousand times he said it, for him it was not enough.

"I'm not forcing you to take responsibility. After all, I once said to someone, if I would never regret everything that had happened to me until now. Therefore, right now I can become more mature than before. I made everything that had happened a lesson for me as well as an experience." Rachel said, her mind drifting on the night she said that to Yohan.

"You don't want me to take responsibility?" Alex asked to make sure his hearing wasn't wrong.

"Yes." Yeah." Rachel answered briefly but with confidence.

"What's wrong with you, Rachel? He's gonna have to take responsibility for your son." Rio.

Everyone was also surprised by Rachel's choice which was very strange, he should be happy and accept Alex, let alone no grudge in the heart of the woman.

"I have a right to my own way of life, that's my choice. I don't want to force her to marry me and take care of Nana together. Living with compulsion is not what I expected, there is no love and it will only feel empty." Rachel said.

Alex is stunned by Rachel's thoughts are almost the same as him, all this time he continues to delay telling all the truth for fear they can not love each other and will only hurt their children.

"Love can grow because you're ordinary, you're used to being with her, spending time together taking care of your child. The taste will grow by itself." Ana.

Rachel shook her head,

"Actually, my heart belongs to another man. I can't. It might sound evil, but it would be even more evil if I lied to her and pretended to accept it."

"Yohan?" Ray voice.

Hearing the name called, Rachel could only remain silent with a face that remained calm.

"It seems like everyone already knows." Rachel.

"Rachel, what if it's just one-sided love. I know, I've mishandled you guys. If I had known Alex was his father, I wouldn't have done that." Ana.

"Impossible." Said everyone who heard Rachel's words.

"Don't joke Rachel." Rio.

Rachel looked at Nana with her gentle smile.

"I'm not kidding. If you don't believe me, just ask Kenan. He was always a living witness when Yohan came here in the morning and evening."

"I know that, I know about your relationship." Alex lowered his head, then got up from his kneeling position. He stared at Nana for a long time.

"You're free to decide your life, but if the man is just playing you or not mean it to you, then come to me. I'll keep myself open to being responsible for you until you get married and find a replacement for her father." Alex said as she stroked gently Nana's cheek. The baby girl seemed to know if it was someone who had a bond with her. Nana reached out her hand looking like she wanted to ask Alex to hold her.

"I'm sorry then." Said Alex, do not want to dissolve in sadness and sad. He could not see the little baby.

Nana cries to see her real father leave her, the baby girl is sad to see Alex ignore her.

Ana walks near the flower garden that belonged to her late mother.

The flowers are still growing and well-groomed. Ana smiled as her hand touched the daisy petals.

"Do you like flowers?" Ask Ray.

"You've asked that before." Answer Ana.

"Sorry." Ray.

"Why apologize?"

"Sorry for everything."

Ana turned her head, staring at Ray's bowed face. The girl then smiled.

"Forget it. I'm sorry, too, this morning I was just upset, because you didn't tell me." Said Ana.

"Sorry."

"That's it. Rachel forgave Alex, too. It is true that the woman is now an adult. Even more mature than me. If I'm in her position, maybe I can't be that easy to forgive the man who has troubled my life." Ana.

Ray just silently looked at Ana who started cutting some daisies.

"But, I really did not expect that Rachel and Yohan's assistant were secretly in a serious relationship. Are they really going to be together?"

"You used to look so happy to see them together, why do you have doubts now?" Ray asked as he helped his wife hold the flowers that Ana had cut.

"Why did I suddenly think of a woman named Miya. I feel sorry for him." Ana stops her hand when she wants to cut off another flower stalk. Then he looked at Ray who kept looking at him.

"Ray's."

"Hm?"

"Wouldn't it be better if Rachel is with Alex and Yohan is with Miya?"

"Why?"

"That's a little bit of a distraction to my mind. I feel so guilty."

Ray sighed, touching the soft top of Ana's head.

"Don't think of things that aren't your business. It's their life, you just need to give them enough support and advice." Said Ray.

"I see, all this time it seems like I've been overreacting. I am disgusting yes, always interfere with other people's problems and also seem to care when it is only getting more troublesome." Ana.

Ray smiled at her, he grabbed Ana in his arms.

"No, not at all. You're wrong, but that doesn't mean you're wrong. All this time you just wanted to help them and be caring. But unfortunately you care about them using a way that you only think is right. You never look from the point of view of the person you care about. What if you learn to change it from now on? It'll be better for you." Said Ray.

Ana smiled in her husband's arms, a sense of calm creeping into her.

"I understand." Ana Mumbled.
