Take Lunch

That afternoon, Ana intends to deliver lunch to Ray.

I don't know what made him want to do that. Though usually he was lazy, even though Ray asked for it.

But, this time with her own wishes she came to Ray's office to bring her husband lunch.

Ana walks into the company building. The girl stepped towards the reception desk that was inside the company's main lobby.

Ana smiled back at the friendly greeting from one of the receptionist staff.

"Excuse me, can you tell me where the president's office is?" Ana asked one of the reception staff.

"Sorry ma'am, have you made any appointments before?" Ask.

"Not yet." Answer Ana.

"Wait a minute ma'am, I'll call the secretary, whether the president is busy or not." Tell that staff.

"Eh, why ask the secretary first? I just want to know what floor the president's office is on, not make an appointment with him." Ana said, she suddenly felt upset.

"Sorry ma'am, but not everyone can meet the President, I have to follow the procedures that have been carried out in this company." Answer the staff politely.

Ana sighed, knowing that if this staff was just doing their job, why she should be upset.

"Well, just call the secretary." Ana.

Ana still thinks that Ray's secretary is Yuna, the woman does not know that Ray has fired her and filled her secretary position with a new secretary.

I'm just so lazy to meet that damn girl again. Hah, it's troublesome. Wanting to deliver lunch alone should be this troublesome. Besides why would I suddenly want to deliver food to her? You're so weird, Ana, when it's just eleven o'clock. Eleven o'clock it was noon or still early morning huh? — Said Ana who continued to babble in her heart.

"Sorry ma'am, the secretary said that the President is busy and doesn't want anyone to bother him." Said the staff after they finished calling Ray's new secretary.

"Then just tell me on what floor the President's room is on." Said Ana.

"Sorry mom, but— "

Ana raised her hand, telling the staff to stop talking. The girl sighed deeply, she then took her phone from inside her bag and started contacting Yohan's assistant.

"Hello, miss Ana? What's the need to contact me?" Yohan asked shortly after she picked up a phone call from Ana.

"Ah sorry to interrupt your time off. Can I ask you a favor?

"Tell me, what can I do for you?" Ask Yohan.

"I want to deliver food to Ray, but I don't seem to know what floor the room is on." Said Ana, she said that while staring back at the receptionist staff who saw her.

"You can ask it directly to the receptionist there, miss****."

"Ck, if I can get an answer from them, I'm definitely not going to call you." Ana.

From across there, Yohan seemed to understand Ana's current situation. It's hard to meet Ray. Moreover, the girl had never before come to Ray's company.

Also, regarding their marriage, only the executive ranks such as their directors, managers and assistants or their secretaries knew who Ana was.

"Miss, give the lady's phone to the receptionist. Let me talk to them." Yohan.

"No need, you just tell me directly, what floor is Ray's room on?"

"Well, lady, Mr. Ray's room is on the fifteenth floor. You have to take the executive elevator if you want to go to that floor. Because, a regular elevator was already arranged to be unable to stop on that floor." Yohan.

"Ah so, yes okay. Thanks." Ana said, she immediately turned off her call. At first glance he looked at the receptionist staff, then he walked to the elevator door.

When she got to the elevator door, Ana was confused which elevator to enter, because there were two elevator doors, she also did not know, which executive elevator and which elevator to use. The girl breathed again.

I just wanted to take lunch for my husband! Why is it so hard to feel huh!

The girl turned around and approached the reception desk again.

"Where is the executive elevator?" Ask Ana directly.

"Sorry mom, but not everyone can use it."

"If I don't use it then I can't get to rua— "

"Ana?!" Call someone from behind Ana.

"Alex!" Reply Ana. He turned his back and waited for Alex to approach.

As the man approached the reception desk, the staff bowed respectfully to him. Ana was upset when she saw that.

"What are you doing here?" Ask Alex.

Ana showed me the paper bag containing the food box she was carrying.

"Ah, I envy my brother." Said Alex. Ana just smiled in response.

"But Alex, can you take me to Ray's room? I can't go there." Ana said, it was like she was complaining about her difficulties to Alex.

"Why can't it?" Ask the man, but then he glances at the reception staff and begins to understand why Ana has trouble going there.

"Ah— must be you're complicated."

Alex walked up to the reception desk and stared one by one at the staff.

"I will remember your faces and report to the President for making it difficult for his wife to meet the President." Alex checkmate. The faces of the three receptionist staff looked shocked and frightened. They immediately approached Ana and bowed apologetically in front of the girl.

"I'm sorry ma'am, we don't know that. We beg you to forgive us and do not ask the President to fire us." Pinta is one of the staff representing the other two staff.

Ana breathed out her heavy breath. It's not all their fault if they don't know she's their boss's wife. Of course Ana would not be too concerned about this.

"No problem, you don't have to apologize." Said Ana kindly. The three staff were seen breathing with relief hearing it.

"Thank you mom, thank you." The three staff said.

If they continue to work like this, wouldn't it be nice if there are other women who come to see Ray and are complicated like this. I just have to thank them. - Inner Ana.

"Let's follow me. I'll take you to see him, who knows I can get you a little food too." Alex said, his hand pointed at the paper-bag containing the food box.

"Yes. All right, I brought him a little bit too." Ana.

Alex smiled happily, then started walking towards the executive elevator.

The man opens the elevator door and enters it, so Ana comes inside after Alex.

Alex closed the elevator door and then pressed the number fifteen. The elevator slid quickly to the floor.

The elevator door was open shortly.

"Come on." Said Alex. Ana continues to follow Alex who walks to Ray's room on the floor.

As she passed the secretary table, Ana frowned, the table was empty. Usually the secretary will not leave if their boss is still in the room. Except, Ray's gone and there's nothing inside.

Ana let out her languid breath,

"I don't think Ray's inside." Ana tells Alex to stop his steps.

"What did you say? Today— as I recall there is no meeting, meeting or briefing. So Ray's gotta be inside." Said Alex.

"But look, the desk is empty." Ana.

"yes too. Maybe he's picking up something or something. Let's go in first."

Ana nods and steps back to follow Alex who has opened the door of the Presidency room.

While still focusing on stepping with her face down languidly, Ana accidentally hit Alex's back which stopped suddenly in front of her.

"Aw— what is Al— Ray?" Ana's speech is interrupted and turns to call Ray's name.

He looked at Ray angrily, how not. The man is currently being massaged on his shoulder by a woman.

Ray initially smiled happily to see Ana, but when he remembered his current state, he immediately stood up straight and distanced himself from the woman who was actually his new secretary.

"Here you sit, I can explain. Don't misunderstand me."

Ana walks over to Ray and gives the food box paper bag to her husband.

After giving it to her, Ana immediately turned around and left Ray's room.

"Ana, wait." Call Ray, but the girl doesn't listen to him. Not that she did not hear, but pretended not to hear and rather ignored the voice of her husband who just kept calling her name.
