The Destiny

The Destiny
Two Red Lines

Birds adorn a bright morning. A happy smile was engraved on Ray's face, unceasingly staring at his wife's still-sleeping face.

Slowly Ana's eyes opened, then smiled sweetly, looking at her husband's face that seemed to shine dazzlingly.

"Good morning." Ray.

Ana looks at him, then pulls the nape of Ray's neck, bringing their faces closer together. In an instant, Ana dipped Ray's cheek at a glance.

"Lately you've been looking very active." Said Ray.

Well, these days, those two guys are kind of exchanging souls. Ray who used to dominate Ana, now on the contrary, Ana who dominates Ray more.

Ana who always actively teases Ray, Ana who is always assertive and bossy, the aura that Ray had once, is now attached to Ana.

And yet, her husband. He became a submissive man and could only surrender with all of Ana's will. If you look carefully, Ray's nature now that, like the nature of Ana first, is too weak and soft. Even so good, he was late to a board meeting, just for helping a cat stuck in the middle of the road. Isn't that Ana's nature.

"Ck, if you don't like it, I won't give you my precious lips again." Ana.

"Hey, I was just kidding. Don't take it seriously like that." Said Ray.

"Yes yes I know." Answer Ana.

"You're going to work?" Ana asks, she sees Ray already wearing his office clothes and also a tie that has been attached to the collar of the man's shirt.

"Hm." Ray nodded his head.

"You forgot? Today, what day?"

"Saturday, I know it's the weekend. But I have to keep working. I came home early yesterday and I haven't finished all the paperwork I have to sign."

He is good at pretending to forget. He had already prepared for our wedding celebration. Fortunately, Yohan's assistant accidentally told me, so I'll just pretend to be angry with her too.

Ana smiles at Ray, ready to take on the role of being angry at her husband for forgetting their first wedding day.

"It turns out you forgot." Said Ana, her face looks grim, even though her heart is currently holding a happiness party.

"What did I forget?" Ask Ray.

They were now a couple pretending not to know. Asking this and that, as if not understanding or understanding.

"none. Never mind, I want to take a shower." Ana replied with a tone that she made ketus, so that the impression of her anger was deeper in Ray's heart.

"Yes, shower. I'll take your breakfast to the room." Said Ray.

"No need, I'll just eat in the dining room. Besides, I haven't eaten in a long time with my mother-in-law and Alex." Said Ana.

"Ah so. Yeah, well, then I'll go straight to the office."

Ana nodded, though,

"Go." The girl got off her bed and walked up to get a towel.

"See you." Ray's words were returned with another nod by Ana.

The man then stepped out of the room and closed the door again.

Ana laughed when her husband was out of sight.

"It's funny. But he's a good actor too." The girl felt amused herself, knowing that everything her husband did was just pretend.

Ana then goes into the bathroom, cleans herself, gets dressed, and when she's done, she goes downstairs to the dining room. There, Alex and Alex's mother are seen eating their breakfast in silence.

They are still silent to each other. Haah, it seems like the commotion of that time has not been resolved. Do I need to help them make up? Ah no no. Ray said, I better not interfere. I hope they reconcile soon.

Ana stared sadly at the two mothers and children who were still unable to resolve the conflict between them. The girl even felt uncomfortable in the cold war that occurred.

"Ana, where's Ray?" Ask her mother-in-law.

"Have gone to the office, ma'am."

"Maybe breakfast in the office." Answer Ana.

The girl ate the bread she had smeared with chocolate jam, but she had just bitten one bite. His stomach churned again, nauseous.

"You okay?" Asked her mother-in-law, she saw Ana who looked instantly pale.

Why do I feel hate with the taste of this chocolate jam, it tastes too sweet on the tongue, until my stomach feels nauseous eating it.

"Let's go ma'am, I've been feeling sick all of a sudden lately." Answer Ana.

"really?" The worried raut that her mother-in-law had shown, now turned into a great deal of enthusiasm.

"Yes, I also feel dizzy and sometimes sweat cold if too tired. Especially in the morning." Convinced Ana, he sighed. He was eager to eat the chocolate jam bread, but his stomach completely rejected the sweet taste of his favorite.

"Morning sickness." Mumbled her mother-in-law.

"You pregnant?" Ask Alex who is still there.

"Pregnant?" Ana looked at the two people in turn. All this time he hadn't thought about it.

"Follow mom to the room." Take her mother-in-law.

Ana looks at Alex, as if wondering why Alex's mother suddenly invites herself to the room, the man shrugged his shoulders not knowing.

The girl finally got up from the dining chair and walked after Alex's mother. Ana went into her mother-in-law's room.

Calista, her mother-in-law, was looking for something in her dresser drawer. A moment later, he turned around and approached Ana.

"Here, I wanted to give it to you back then, but seeing your busy self, I thought, maybe you weren't pregnant yet, so I kept it just in case." The middle-aged woman gave Ana a pregnancy test kit.

Ana scrunched her forehead, astonished by what her mother-in-law gave her.

"But— "

"Try it first."

Ana was still silent, she hesitated.

"When was the last time you had your monthly cycle?"

Ah yes it is also true, if you remember, my monthly cycle is already past one month. Why don't I pay attention to it. - Inner Ana.

"Let's hurry." Said her mother-in-law, Calista seemed to know, if Ana had just remembered that she was a month late from her menstrual schedule.

"Yes." Yeah." With hesitation, Ana entered the bathroom in her mother-in-law's room.

A few minutes later, the girl came out of the bathroom.

Calista seemed to frown at seeing Ana who continued to blink her eyes seeing the results of the testpack.

"How did it go?"

"The red line is two." Answer Ana.

A burst of happiness instantly emanated clearly on Calista's face. He hugged his daughter-in-law happily.

"Congratulations, you'll be a mother and I'll be a grandmother." He said in a happy tone that could not be hidden.

"really?" Ask Ana who still doesn't believe.

Calista nodded, though,

"of course. Later we go to the gynecologist for further examination yes. I'll keep you company." Her speech.

Ana smiled happily, happy of course. This is the most beautiful gift from God on the anniversary of his first marriage. He is so grateful.
