The dining room was silent, only the clanking of spoons and plates could be heard.

Calista, Alex's mother, the middle-aged woman has entered her own world. Even if his hand moves scooping food but his mind drifts to something else.

His head was filled with a figure that was not present in the dining room, Alex.

"Alex isn't awake?" I asked Ray, I don't know who.

Her stepmother turned to her, sighed for a moment and went back to eating her breakfast.

"Didn't my mother-in-law make that soup for Alex?" Ana pointed at the bowl of soup that was sitting on the dining table. It's a soup after a hangover.

"Yes." Yeah." Answer her mother-in-law.

"Then let me take her to Alex's room." Ana.

"No need Ana, you just finish your breakfast. Don't mind the kid, if he's hungry, he'll come here by himself." His mother said, but in his heart, he himself wanted to deliver the soup to his son's room.

"Every night he looked so drunk, it must have been hard for him to wake up. It's okay, I'll deliver it."

"I'm just." The voice made the two women in the dining room turn to him, Ray.

"I'll take the soup to his room." Ray stood up from his chair, his hand picking up the cold-looking soup.

"No need for Ray, just let the waiter drive him." Said his stepmother.

"I'm her brother, she's drunk to that point because there's something. Let's just say it's my concern for her." Ray passed from the dining room, not forgetting the bowl of soup he brought.

Ana smiled at the attitude of her husband. When compared with the old Ray, Ray who now looks more mature.

"Hah her attitude made my heart moved to see her." That's Alex's mumbling.

"They now look like real brothers and sisters huh." Ana.

"Em, right. Oh yeah, how? Did you tell Ray about your pregnancy?" Ask her mother-in-law.

"Already, last night. But, by the way, I am very grateful to mother-in-law. If it wasn't for my mother-in-law forcing me to do the test. I'll never know if there's any sprouts in my stomach." Answer Ana.

"Combouts? You gave him the name of the sprout?" Her mother-in-law laughed when she heard it.

"Sounds weird, right? I feel that way too. But Ray just kept calling him my sprouts, sprouts, dad's sprouts." Said Ana while following the way Ray called their baby candidate.

"really? He must be too happy. You're lucky Ana has a husband who loves you and your baby with all her heart."

"Yes, I'm so grateful to mother-in-law." Ana replied with a happy smile.

"Let's eat a lot. From now on do not be late to eat, and also choose good and healthy foods. Don't eat anything and don't get tired."

"Oh my goodness, I listened to those words again. Ray said all that last night, too." Said Ana, with an annoyed face mixed with her jokes.

"Because it has to be that way." Alex's mother said in her small laugh.

Ray was standing at the door of his mother's other sister's room. Moments ago, the man knocked on the door. Alex did not open the door to his room.

Beep sound indicates the password entered is correct, the door of the room was open.

How Ray can know the password of Alex's room door, it's because Alex uses numbers that even elementary school children are good at remembering.

Well, Alex's room door password is the same as Ray's first room door password, before Ana finally changes Ray's room door password, one one one and one.

Ray entered the room after closing the door. His feet stepped towards the window with the curtains still tightly closed.

With one hand, Ray opened the dark black curtain.

Alex was heard moaning, feeling troubled by the sunlight that pierced his eyes.

Ray sighed, seeing his mother's other sister asleep with the shoes still attached to his feet.

Ray placed a bowl of soup on the nightstand next to the bed.

"Alex." Call slowly. There was no reply from Alex.

"What really happened to you? You've never been like this before." Say Ray while removing the shoes that are still attached to Alex's feet.

Ray again sighed, sitting on the side of the bed against Alex.

"I can help you, so just tell me what your problem is, I'll listen to it." Said Ray.

Alex's ears could hear him but his eyes were too heavy to open. His head felt dizzy from drinking too much alcohol last night.

"After all, I'm your brother. Our mothers are different but our fathers are the same. At least that means, we're still siblings."

Alex seemed to rub the corner of his eyes, feeling sad and also happy.

If you knew what was happening to me, you'd hate me Alex's inner legs.

"I will always listen to you. Whenever you need my help, just meet me. Remember, I am your sister. So, don't ever hesitate." Ray said, he glanced at Alex who was still closing his eyes. Her brother knew Alex was actually awake.

"All right, I'm going. Don't forget to eat that soup. I made it for you." Ray said, before finally leaving his sister's room.

Hearing the sound of the door closing, Alex opened his eyes. The man rubbed his face rough, looking tears in the corner of his eyes.

Alex got up from his sleeping position, he turned his head, looking at his nightstand. A bowl of cold distiller soup, sitting on the nightstand.

The man breathed heavily. What he was experiencing right now was heavier, than when he had to be ostracized in this house.

Rachel smiled at Nana who had just woken up.

"Good morning dear." He stroked the little face of the baby.

Then his memory returned to last night's events. Where Nana sleeps in Yohan's hands, even the man also delivers himself and Nana home.

Remembering all the actions Yohan had done to her son, her heart seemed to be tingled by thousands of butterflies.

For some reason, now Yohan is the only name that goes into the list of ideal fathers for him.

"Nana, do you want a father like him?" Rachel asked her son who was just staring innocently.

"Oh my God, what am I thinking. No, Rachel, you think too much. Hah, my goodness— "Murm, he tapped his head to expel all the desires that crossed his brain.
