Disappointment

A few days passed, it had been a week more. But, there was no action from Alex in the slightest. Every day, Ray warned her, but her sister always asked for the right time.

That morning at Ray's house, the quiet breakfast atmosphere turned tense.

Someone shouted Alex's name from the entrance of the house.

No matter who the owner of the house is. The man went inside with overflowing emotions.

Rio, he walked even faster as he looked at Alex who was sitting on the dining chair.

"Sister Rio?" Said Ana who was also surprised by Rio's sudden presence.

"Alex! You—" Rio growled furiously and hit Alex's face just like that.

Alex and Ana's mother's shrieking voice added to the increasingly dense aura of contention in the room.

Alex staggered back, he felt a sting on the corner of his lips, blood coming out of it.

"What do you mean?! Why did you suddenly hit me?! You're crazy, aren't you?!" Alex asked who was feeling very upset, the man's hand was still busy wiping the blood stream coming out of his nose.

"Yes, what's wrong? Why did you suddenly hit him?" This time Ana asked, her feet moving wanting to get close to Rio, planning to calm her stepbrother down, but Ray's big hand was blocking him.

"Don't." Ray's whisper to his wife.

Without being explained, Ray can already guess about Rio's anger at Alex. Even if he did not know for sure how Rio could find out the truth. But, all of this was possible because Rio had just found out that Alex was the man who had impregnated his sister.

"But I have to calm him down." Ana.

Ray turned to his wife, shaking his head.

"He's emotional, if you get close, you could be in danger and so could our baby." Ray said.

Ana could only sigh, obeying her husband's words.

From the perspective of everyone in the dining room. Rio just kept on clenching his hands, his breathing sounded irregularly blowing, it was marked he was extremely angry and unrestrained.

"Rul." Call Ray, try mediating.

"I beg you not to interfere with Chairman Ray. It's my business and that jerk's man." Said Rio with eyes that continued to point at Alex.

"I know what's the reason you're angry. Can we talk about it okay? Violence does not always solve problems. We are family anyway." Ray said he was still trying to mediate the fight.

"So you already know about it?! Since when? Why not reveal it to everyone?! Why not ask him to apologize to my sister?! You purposely helped your sister to bury a huge, very rotten carcass?!" Every tone that Rio spoke was different from before, the man even dared to say informally like never before.

"I know not long ago, someone sent me a video, are you the same as me? Did you receive an anonymous email containing the video?" Ask Ray.

"What video is Ray? What do you guys know until it looks like a big deal like this?" Ana asks Ray, out of all the people here, only Ana doesn't know anything.

"You also received that email?! Ck, so yes. But, I don't care about that, now more importantly, I need your accountability this jerk's man." Rio showed his hand towards Alex who was just silent from earlier.

"What's really going on? What does Rio mean? What answer?" Ask Ana who is getting curious. He felt like a fool watching this show but did not understand it at all, the girl had seen her mother-in-law who was just silent and crying, seeing her mother-in-law's tears, she said, Ana seemed to conclude that her mother-in-law already knew the reason for the anger from Rio.

"So, you don't know Ana yet??" Rio looked at his half-sister.

His hand then moved taking the phone in his pants pocket.

Ray who was beside Ana was just silent, he had no intention to prevent Ana from seeing the video.

"What does this mean?" Ana asked who still did not understand why Rio gave her a cell phone.

"Open that video file." Reply Rio.

With hesitation, Ana opened the video. Same video as Ray saw before.

The girl's expression seemed to be fickle every minute, at first frowning in wonder, then increasingly curious and lastly she was surprised.

Ana looks at the video and Alex in turn.

"Alex—" Call Ana down, she didn't expect Alex to be that person.

"It's calm." Whisper Ray, his hand picked up the phone Ana was still holding, then returned it to Rio.

The girl's body seemed to tremble, her tears just sliding. He did not know all this truth.

"Is he the man who impregnated Rachel?" Ana asked Rio.

Rio nodded, though,

"Rachel lied about a lot of guys sleeping with him. The fact is, Rachel just can't remember who the guy she's been sleeping with is, because the jerk guy who had fucked her back then used a stimulant drug to make Rachel forget herself. You know how Rachel used to be, she didn't want her weakness and stupidity to be known to others, so Rachel was forced to lie with the wrong lie." Rio.

Ana gaped in disbelief, her eyes focused on Alex who was still in place, then she turned her eyes to Ray who was beside her.

"Did you know this before?" Ask Ana.

Ray breathed out his heavy breath, in the end he nodded in response to Ana's question.

"Mother-in-law too? Was that time my mother-in-law was angry at Alex for this?" Ana's question led to her mother-in-law crying even more.

"Ana." Call Ray, his hand moves wanting to touch his wife's arm. But Ana moved away quickly.

"Why didn't anyone tell me? Am I a stranger in this house? Is it because I'm the sister of a girl that Alex has stained?" Ask Ana who is disappointed.

"It's not like Ana, I don't know if Ray knows about this." Said her mother-in-law.

"I can't be mad at my mother-in-law, but I'm disappointed in all of you. I know you're family and I was a stranger who married Ray and became part of this family. But—"

"Ana what are you saying? You've never been a stranger in this house. You know that, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have made up for my stepmother and Alex either." Sela Ray, she steps closer to Ana. But the girl was getting away and hiding behind Rio's body.

"Sister, I want to go home to Dad." Ana told Rio.

Rio sighed, he actually did not care about this half-sister. But, considering Ana is the son of a father who greatly respected and admired her. Alex can't just ignore it.

"All right." Rio replied to his half-sister.

"Our business is not finished Alex. I'm waiting for you to come home and kneel before Rachel." Rio said to Alex with an intimidating look.

Afterwards, the two half-sisters passed away from the room.
