Chapter 10

Josh stopped his steps when he heard a sobbing in Alexa's treatment room. His heart intention went from the treatment room to get an ointment to remove bruises on Alexa's wrists that were flushed because of the check earlier. Due to the excessive emotions earlier, he had unintentionally blocked her too strongly.

Josh stared at the ointment he was holding with a feeling of guilt. He's still hanging outside the door. There was even a nurse who happened to pass by looking at him wondering why the hospital director was standing a little long in front of the door of the treatment room. Until Josh realized it was immediately entered just like that made Alexa suddenly silent to stop the sobbing.

Josh was forced to stand on the side of the bed unobstructed by the infusion and Alexa was lying in a circle tilted in the same direction. Alexa just closed her eyes even though she wasn't sleeping. Between shame, annoyance, disappointment and wanting to be angry at Josh. But his face was shattered because the cry made him reluctant to open his eyes.

Alexa thinks that Josh left her after her rough treatment. He also did not think that he would be caught in a state of sobbing. Josh stared at the woman who was pregnant with his child. Instead of staring at Alexa's flushed wrist.

"Sorry." Whisper Josh while grabbing Alexa's wrist gently which makes Alexa jerk in shock refusing to pull the hand.

"I just want to treat it." Rejection Alexa slowly loosened and was able to receive a helping hand Josh was not as rough as before. Alexa is reluctant to open her eyes.

Slowly his wrists felt cold because the ointment spread made Alexa's heart warm quietly. Josh seemed to be breathing a long and heavy sigh. He secretly looked at Alexa's face which was still faithful to close his eyes without opening it.

"I'll rub it every three hours." Say Josh after finishing smearing the ointment.

He went into the bathroom in the treatment room to wash his hands and face that looked crumpled. Though the image of a cold and flat face is always able to be maintained as emotional as he is. But facing Alexa made her change her emotions and expressions, like she was not alone.

Josh opens the bathroom door and his eyes are rubbed with Alexa's eyes that also accidentally look at him. Until Alexa threw her eyes in any direction avoiding Josh. The look on Josh's face turned softly on Alexa who repeatedly rejected him. Josh took a breath back.

He also sat on the sofa not far from the care bed, making Alexa inevitably look sharp Josh.

"Could leave me alone!" Alexa. Josh looked at Alexa's face, looking at her.

"I said once, leave me alone!" Alexa raised her tone because she was annoyed to see Josh just speechless without answering.

"You... talk to me?" Josh asked innocently not feeling guilty.

"You..." Alexa looked at Josh getting upset.

"You're not avoiding me, so I don't think you're talking to me." Josh answered casually opening his phone checking his work email.

"You... Are you..."

"I promised someone to take care of you. So don't expect me to leave! Relax yourself. Because I'll keep you here. You can take it as if it's not here." Sela Josh casually makes Alexa even more upset.

The sound of a knock on the door made Alexa undo her intention to yell at Josh.

"Lake in!" Alexa endured her frustration.

"Good morning, miss, your breakfast..." The nurse was silent when she found the hospital director sitting on the sofa not far from the treatment bed made her stop to continue her speech because she felt clumsy and misbehaved. Josh glanced at her giving a cold look at the breakfast delivery nurse.

"Just put it on the sus table!" Answer Alexa broke the awkwardness after staring at the nurse and Josh alternately.

"I'll excuse you then, miss. Excuse me doc." Pamit the nurse was on Alexa and took turns saying goodbye to Josh who was only answered with a nod of the head.

"I can do it myself!" Reject Alexa grabbed the tray of food but soon Josh also denied it.

"Sit down quietly!" Josh's orders further inflamed Alexa.

"Don't do anything! It's not you yourself saying to assume you don't exist!" Alexa was annoyed staring at Josh sharply. Josh was speechless, he couldn't answer because Alexa made him stupefied.

"Someone entrusted me to take care of you." Elak Josh reasoned.

"My hands are still healthy to eat alone." Reject Alexa stubbornly.

"Until when are you going to hide it?" Ask Josh.

"Faster it's better if he knows." Josh again made Alexa more afraid to see the reaction of her lover John.

"W-w-w-w-w-would that hurt her?" Alexa said weakly bowing her head feeling guilty.

"Better he knows right away from us now, than he knows from others and is getting disappointed and hurt on us. Or worse, he'll be mad at us." Said Josh.

"John said it would be responsible for my fetus if no one was responsible for my fetus." Said Alexa timidly.

"You want me to just shut up and shut my eyes about this reality? Till when? Do you think brother would be so stupid as not to investigate?" Josh said back emotions despite trying not to get angry.

"I love her. I just want to be with her." Alexa replied softly made Josh speechless. If it's a matter of heart and feelings, he can't say anything.

Josh came out of Alexa's treatment room without saying anything. Alexa also did not prevent it and stayed in place.
