Chapter 65

Feeling that nothing was done after lunch, Josh chose to watch television in the living room of the apartment hoping Alexa would join him after cleaning the dining table. Alexa forced to do the clean-up work even though Josh had banned it. But Alexa forced because it is his duty as a wife makes Josh speechless dare not prevent it again.

When Josh was about to help her again Alexa forbid on the grounds that she was still feeling awkward together until finally Josh reluctantly let Alexa do the job with a note to not be too tired because of her pregnancy. And Alexa also agreed to it not to force himself if he felt the state of his body is not fine.

Josh fiddles with his television remote looking for channels that are interesting to watch. But as long as he looks for no event that interests him at the event because his concentration breaks while occasionally glancing towards the kitchen to wait for Alexa to join him.

But for more than an hour, Josh waited, there was no sign of Alexa appearing in the living room even though just sitting relaxed. Josh can't wait to stand up from his seat to approach the kitchen to see what Alexa does.

When he saw the kitchen and dining table was clean and tidy. Josh frowned as he saw no sign of Alexa being there. Josh was looking in any direction around his apartment. But again nil, Alexa is not seen anywhere. Josh's gaze stopped at the door of the room Alexa had occupied earlier after they came to the apartment. Instantly Josh laughed bitterly remembering that Alexa chose to separate rooms for the reason that she still felt awkward.

"What do you expect Josh? You should've realized that you weren't wanted by your wife. He is willing to marry you because of the child in his womb. Maybe..." Guman Josh did not continue his murmur because suddenly his chest felt a very tight squeeze.

Josh breathed a long and heavy sigh, he chose positive thinking. Maybe his wife was a little tired because of the cooking and cleaning activities earlier. Josh chose to go into his room to vent his disappointment by seeing his work that had not been completed.

Alexa went into her room after she felt finished cleaning and cleaning the dining table. He briefly glanced at Josh who looked fun watching television on the sofa in the middle room of the apartment. Sweat dripping on Alexa's forehead makes her not confident to approach Josh who might have his sweat smelled.

Alexa cleaned her body briefly in the bathroom in her room. And thought he would join Josh if he was clean after the shower. She has also prepared tea and some snacks to chat in front of the television later to get to know more about her husband.

But when he finished bathing, perfumed and dressed neatly. He also came out of the room into the middle room which was no longer heard the noise of television. Alexa a little I don't know. Disappointed feelings dominate her feelings when she saw her husband was no longer there.

"Maybe she's tired and resting in the room." Guman Alexa back into the room after passing the dining table staring at a teapot of tea cups and two empty cups and snacks made earlier failed to serve her husband made Alexa sigh long.

He went back into his room feeling disappointed and sad.

At seven o'clock in the night, the two almost simultaneously came out of the room for dinner. Josh planned to prepare first because his wife had prepared lunch. But because of his work earlier, Josh was late and forgot the time so he seemed to rush out of the room to cross paths with Alexa who also left the room in a hurry.

"Ah. a-I overslept. I-I'll prepare dinner." Said Alexa stammered with guilt on her face staring at Josh.

"No. Let me change to prepare." Sela Josh immediately ran to the kitchen that Alexa wanted to prevent with a wave of her hand but immediately grasped again undo her intention to prevent her husband.

Alexa followed her husband into the kitchen and Josh turned his head.

"Wait a minute! Not until half an hour will soon mature." Josh said while continuing his cooking activities made Alexa smile thin even though Josh did not see it directly.

"alright. Thank you." Thank you." Say Alexa while sitting on the dining table chair.

"You don't have any allergies, do you?" Josh's question is still turning his back on Alexa because he's busy cooking.

"As long as it's not nauseous maybe I can consume any food." Answer Alexa.

"Okay." Josh smiled behind his back. There was a slight sense of arcing in his chest feeling his interaction with his wife. The disappointment that had been felt earlier had evaporated somewhere.

A sweet smile also continued to be imprinted on Alexa's lips staring at the back of the man who had been legitimate as her husband since yesterday. Alexa does not want to accept Josh as her husband. But this is what he doesn't like. It felt awkward because he had known her for a long time as his sister-in-law's candidate before. But Alexa tries to accept her as her husband, the biological father of the fetus she contains.

"Tara... It may not be as good as in an expensive restaurant. But I guarantee you'll like it." Josh said disperse the reverie of Alexa when Josh served a boiled egg balado seasoning which some time ago is very coveted by Alexa because of her pregnancy factor.

"Because this is my favorite food. I'm trying to learn to make it. Sorry if it feels disappointing." Josh humbled himself.

"It smells good. Must be good." Answer Alexa grabbed her spoon after she was taken rice by her husband.

Josh stared anxiously at Alexa as he tasted his first meal. Although Josh has learned to cook but only now he cooks again and is presented to others who are none other than his wife. Which is also the ideal of Josh since long ago wanted to cook something food for his wife earlier. So Josh stared expectantly hopefully his cooking didn't disappoint his wife.

"How's it?" Josh asked expectantly with a look of caution staring at Alexa late.

"Try it!" Instead of answering Alexa chose to tease her husband because his face seemed cold and stiff expression anxious and hopeful, really unlike Josh who he knew so far.

The face of hope had changed anxious and also sad. Josh guessed that the cooking wasn't good. Moreover, seeing the reaction of his wife who is far from satisfied.

"We order online only. What do you want?" Said Josh grabbed his phone directly prevented Alexa.

"You didn't taste your cooking before." Josh shook his head sadly making Alexa feel guilty and sorry for teasing her husband.

"Try it!" Alexa took a few eggs and stretched out to Josh's mouth to feed Josh on the same spoon he had been wearing spontaneously and unconsciously.

Josh immediately froze to see the treatment of Alexa. Especially when remembering that the spoon used to bribe him was also used by his wife. And his chest suddenly warmed up feeling his wife's sweet treatment. Alexa who was aware of the treatment was about to pull her hand that had scooped a boiled egg earlier but Josh immediately pulled Alexa's wrist and ate the feed made Alexa freeze felt held by her husband's big hand.

His face suddenly reddened in embarrassment due to his spontaneous attitude earlier. Until finally the two were silent continue to eat in a state of silence that feels very awkward for both. Until they finished eating no one spoke of feeling ashamed.
