Chapter 64 (season 2)

Josh pulled his suitcase and Alexa who had been his wife from yesterday. Don't ask if they did their first night. "I'll take my clothes off in the main room. You can use the main room." Josh said again to suppress his disappointment so as not to make his wife feel guilty.

"Then rest! You must be tired. Call me if you need anything, I'm in the next room." Josh said no longer showing the look of his smiling face that had been imprinted since from the hotel where they carried out their wedding.

'Maybe it's karma for you Josh because you've always rejected every woman who expressed her feelings for you flatly and indifferently.' Josh's smallest whisper of heart makes Josh laugh bitterly without a sound.

'Also karma because you have indirectly betrayed your brother's trust and affection. Seizing your brother's happiness by accidentally impregnating your brother's lover.' Whisper again Josh's smallest heart.

"I'm sorry, brother. Everything is out of my control." Guman Josh chose to lay his physically and mentally exhausted body.

While Alexa stared at the wall clock in the room it showed eleven o'clock in the afternoon. An hour later at lunch, but his stomach was hungry to fill. If only he did not remember there was another life in his stomach, Alexa would have chosen to sleep again because he still felt lazy and sleepy the effects of pregnancy hormones.

Alexa opened the room door staring around the apartment looking lonely as if there were no occupants. Alexa glanced at the door of the room next to her which was still tightly closed whether the occupants were inside or not. Remembering what Josh said a few days ago that he was on a three-day wedding break. This is only the second day of his death.

Because there was no domestic assistant, Alexa had to find her herself. The opening of a refrigerator containing complete raw food ingredients made Alexa gulp her saliva feel hungry again. He immediately took the ingredients that could be cooked quickly considering he was very hungry.

Josh who was still asleep in his room opened his eyes to smell the fragrant odor he guessed came from his kitchen considering the floor of his apartment was only his unit. And certainly not from his neighbor's apartment.

Josh was surprised to stare at the clock the wall had already shown at twelve in twenty minutes, almost four hours he was asleep from exhaustion. Josh woke up immediately after washing his face in the bathroom to taste. It's past lunch time.

"Alexa!" Josh was surprised that he was married and remembered lunch time. Moreover, the state of Alexa who is pregnant certainly requires more food nutrition because their fetus also needs to eat.

Alexa who was busy pouring vegetable soup meat made was surprised to turn to the door of the room. Josh is seen poking out from behind the door staring at him full of anxiety and guilt. Alexa frowned at the sight of Josh's face.

"Sorry, I should have prepared lunch for you. I overslept. Sorry." Josh said quickly with his guilt looking at Alexa who looks sweaty with apron on her body seen cooking.

Household assistants were deliberately not called because they were still in the newlyweds phase even though there was no event expected by the couple.

"No problem. I finished cooking too. You want to have lunch together?" Tawar Alexa hesitates not to expect Josh will say yes given how cruel he asked to separate rooms, even not twenty-four hours they are legitimate as a couple.

"certain. Thank ye. You should have woken me up. I'll cook for you." Josh began to look ordinary even though the look of his guilty face was still there.

"I can do it myself. You don't have to worry and feel guilty. I'm the one who apologized to you for using the kitchen carelessly without your permission. Sorry." Alexa's words make Josh look up.

"Of course it's okay, we're a couple. Mine is also yours wear as much as you want without my permission." Josh's words immediately made the two fall silent digesting him. Josh inwardly cursed her words. The sudden atmosphere was awkward in silence.

"Ehm.thank you. And sorry. I'm.." Alexa kept her head down feeling guilty.

"No problem. We better eat soon." Josh replies to break the awkwardness by acting like nothing happened.

Both of them sat in the dining chair facing the dining table. For the first time enjoying lunch together as a married couple.
