Chapter 17

Josh drives his own car back to town, continuing his work that was delayed a few days due to preparations for his late mommy's death anniversary. Josh again laughed considering the conversation of his brother and Alexa earlier.

In the next three weeks, the two will have their wedding. And Josh tried to let go of that even though it was actually difficult. The plea full of Alexa's cries yesterday made it unbearable not to obey him. He promised to love their son even though the two were not together. After all the man who should be an uncle for his son who will be a stepfather of the child conceived Alexa.

Again Josh breathed a long and heavy sigh. May this secret be buried tightly, I don't know until later. He just did not want to disappoint his dear brother. She only hoped that if one day her brother knew that reality, he would still love the child like before.

"Hi Josh." Greet a young woman of her age when she shows up at the hospital.

"Helena?" The girl nodded her head smiling as her old friend still recognized her.

"Thank you for not forgetting me." Said the girl called Helena smiling sweetly looking at Josh.

"When's it coming?" Josh sumringah asked as he approached Helena who was ready after her doctor's suit. Josh looked at the doctor's coat that his college friend was wearing carefully. Helena who felt intensely noticed by Josh smiled.

"Try me guessing?" Helena smiled and looked at Josh.

"You're gonna work here?" Josh asked in disbelief, he even smiled brightly, a smile that has never been shown to anyone but his family alone that makes the nurses who saw the interaction of the two gawk as if seeing others when the director of the hospital where he worked smiled eagerly. What a rare sight it takes.

"You're right. I started working yesterday." Helena answered briefly following Josh's steps asking him to step inside her room. He began to control his cold and flat impression when he knew many were paying attention to their interactions.

"Well, I don't know. I'm sorry, since three days ago, I've been on leave to work." Josh was full of regrets.

"It's okay Josh, I have to apologize for not being able to attend yesterday's memorial. Sorry." The two smiled and began to talk a lot about the past that quickly passed and joked as a college friend in English* a few years ago.

Until unknowingly they had spent three hours talking and the time had shown at four in the afternoon made Josh could not continue his work because it was time to go home as well as Helena who was that day has not got his job because Josh as the director of the hospital is not in place.

"How about we have dinner as a reminder of our reunion?" Tawar Helena looked at Josh who was still thinking of accepting his invitation or not.

"Come on! We have only met for five years today. Mumpung my work has not been busy schedule operation later?" Helena persuaded clear making Josh unable to refuse again.

"OKs. After we get home we can have dinner right away." Josh's reply made Helena smile.

"certain." Helena immediately returned to her room to clear her work.

"Where are we going John?" Ask Alexa when she's sitting in John's car.

"We're having dinner outside." John smiled at Alexa.

"Aren't you doing a lot of work?" Ask Alexa for pleasantries.

"Tomorrow I'll start working. Like today's not much work, I'd like to take you to dinner before we're busy taking care of our wedding." Replied John smilingly looking at Alexa his loving lover.

Alexa's heart melts sadly hearing it. John was too good for him. Even he still intends to marry her even though she is pregnant with the child of another man even though he is none other than her lover's biological sister.

"You don't have to do this, John, you've been too kind to me." Alexa feels guilty.

"No. I've been ignoring you for a long time because I'm busy with my job. Sorry." Alexa smiled at her lover's apology.

I should be the one apologizing to John. You betrayed our relationship. But because of your sincere feelings it makes me even more guilty. Moreover, you must be responsible for the actions of your own siblings. Inner Alexa smiled bitterly unable to answer the expression of her lover.

Not until an hour they had arrived at the restaurant that had been booked before by John. And a servant showed me the private room. John links his fingers to Alexa following the waiter's steps.

But when he was about to open a private room another servant immediately stopped his colleague with a look of guilt and disbelief.

"There is someone inside." Whisper his partner who stopped his steps earlier.

"What do you mean there's someone else? Mr. Alensio has just come how can there be anyone." The butler was confused.

"Ki doesn't know who's inside either, Mr. Alensio." Whisper partner.

"But..."

John who felt something was wrong immediately interrupted the two.

"What's this?" Josh asked an angry man who was directly stroked by Alexa's arm to defuse his anger.

The two maids bowed their heads to John hearing a furious cry.

"Ma-sorry sir.. i-it..." Both look nervous and nervous.

"Say the obvious!" John's question wasn't as angry as Alexa kept trying to assuage his anger.

"Sorry sir, I'm the manager here. Is there a problem?" Asked a servant who saw the commotion and tried to mediate.

"Ask them!" John pointed to the two servants who lowered their heads in fear.

"What's wrong?" Ask the restaurant manager.

"Sorry sir, Mr. Alensio has reserved a private room for now. But inside is Mr Alensio?" The ambiguous words of the two servants made everything there frowned confused.

"How can the room I've reserved be occupied by someone else?" John returned emotion.

"Sorry sir. but..."

"Is there another private room?" Ask the manager to try not to side with any of them.

"Sorry sir, all the private rooms are full." Answered one of the servants timidly.

"Hey.." Exclaimed John who was immediately interrupted by Alexa.

"We'll just have dinner somewhere else, John." Entertain Alexa.

"But?"

The door of the private room suddenly opened from the inside making everyone who had been standing in front of the private room.

"What's this?" Ask the person who opened the door.

"Josh?" Call John staring in disbelief at the man who opened the door to the private room.

"Sister?" Josh's reply left everyone frowning confusedly at the sight of two different-dressed people in front of them.
