Chapter 20

"Helena still hopes for you?" John asked after sipping his coffee on the balcony of the second floor of the mansion. Now the two sat staring out of the mansion while looking at the stars in the sky that had sprung up.

"Yes." Yeah." Josh answered briefly still staring at the sky that night.

"You don't want to give him a chance?" Ask John. Josh seemed to shake his head.

"I can't pretend to accept his feelings." Answer Josh.

"You still expect him?" John looked at his sister.

"I've given up." Josh replied weakly.

"Have you found it?" Josh shook his head again.

"Then?"

"I don't want to be disappointed when I find out. What if she's already happy with someone else." Josh looked at John who was still staring at him.

"Yes, that's probably true as well." John replied after a long sigh.

"Are you sure you're going to marry her?" Josh asked instead staring at John intensely.

"Of course." John replied, Sipping his coffee again.

"While the kid's not a sibling's son?" Ask Josh.

"Yes. I. I'm trying to accept it." John replied while nodding his head glaring deep into the sky.

"So, I must love her very much."

"We love Josh. And as long as he loves me too, we will fight and try to accept everything that is on him. You know that I wasn't the perfect guy in the past. I want to try to fix it. And only this time did I get a sincere woman to accept me for who I am without the frills of an Alensio." John's reply at length made Josh nod his head in understanding.

Josh seemed to take a long breath. He glanced at the wall clock already showing at twelve midnight.

"I'll rest first, brother. Tomorrow's a lot of work because I've had three days off." Pamit Josh left the balcony.

"OK." John smiled back at the night sky.

Over the weekend, John realizes his words to meet Alexa's parents. Although not his biological mother, but John still had to do an official proposal to the family of his lover to propose Alexa. And of course because Alexa's pregnancy is also kept secret from her family because she does not want to be embarrassed. Both the Alensio family and the Ramirez family.

Alexa tried to return home to her father's mansion that morning. Because John's coming tonight with his extended family. Alexa seemed hesitant to enter the mansion still faithfully standing in front of the mansion after fifteen minutes ago the taxi she was riding had already left her father's mansion.

"Miss Alexa!" Security guard at the Ramirez family mansion.

"Good morning sir." Say hello Alexa smiled kindly at the security.

"Go in, miss!" Security who just found out that the guest who came was his young lady immediately opened the gate of the Ramirez family mansion.

"Thank you sir. Daddy any?" Ask Alexa for pleasantries.

"Large master there's a lady, she's probably having breakfast." Answer security is polite and friendly.

Alexa simply smiled and stepped inside the mansion after a long and heavy sigh.

"John asked me to wave him to Rian." Jo said as her assistant walked in with a number of reports.

Rian was still silent yet could answer him as he waited for his great master to continue his words.

"What am I supposed to do? We know whose baby it belongs to." Say Jo again.

"Mr Josh didn't make the protest so much. Looks like he did what Miss Alexa wanted." Answer Rian. Jo seemed to raise one eyebrow while looking at Rian as if asking 'why'.

"According to the maid who took care of Miss Alexa. Tun Josh tries to take responsibility and invites him to be honest with young master John. But Miss Alexa begged young master Josh to keep it a secret. Miss Alexa says she loves young master John very much. So, he asks Josh to marry the two to John's young master." Obviously Rian is long.

"Huff." Jo said that Rian could only be silent. Jo seems frustrated with her son's problems. If only his wife was still alive, he would surely give the best solution with his meek voice.

"What should my wife do?" Jo's scales are weak.

"What's? Proposal?" Leonardo was shocked by his daughter's notice.

"Yes dad. His family's coming tonight." Answer Alexa lowered her head in not daring to look into his father's eyes.

"Why so suddenly. Who her? What is young master Alensio?" Guess Leonardo makes Alexa jerked in shock with his father's guess that is right on target.

"So right, huh?" Leonardo again saw the reaction of his daughter who did not protest.

"I'll ask the maid to prepare everything." Break up Leonardo after careful thought of his decision. Also think about what the advantages and disadvantages are with a daughter-in-law of an Alensio. There must be much more to gain than loss. Leonardo smiled meaningfully after seeing Alexa leave his study.

"Sister, I'm sorry I can't accompany your show later, I have an emergency surgery schedule ." Josh said in a phone call expressing his regret to his brother.

"What's wrong Josh. I know saving people's lives is more important. I'll let you know when I get home." John answered across the phone smiling.

"I'm sorry once again, brother." Josh felt guilty again.

"Don't think too much! Do your job well!" Say John again.

The flashback

"You really let go of Josh?" Ask Daddy that afternoon. Jo calls his youngest twin son to talk to him.

"What do you mean Daddy?" Josh asked with his heart deg deg and heard his daddy question. Although in the same guess, she hoped that was not what her daddy meant.

"Isn't the child Alexa conceived your son?" Daddy Jo's words made Josh shocked in shock. He knew there was nothing to hide from Daddy. Whether the daddy knows where, everything is always known by the Daddy.

"They love each other dad." Josh answered weakly lowering his head.

"Never regret it because you didn't fight for it!" His ultimatum daddy makes Josh think again, between wanting to fight for the child and the mother of the child or let them be happy with their child among them later.

"I don't blame you nor do I defend John. You are both my sons. And somehow this became karma for me in the past because getting your mommy is almost the same way. It's just that mommy didn't get pregnant. Daddy just forced to be your mommy's second husband." Jo stared fixedly at Josh.

"Suami... second...?" Guman Josh looked at his daddy in disbelief.

Josh was silent, but again he remembered Alexa's plea with tears the other day that made him unable to say yes to her.
