Brakk!!!!

"I hate you, Papa!!!! I hate you so much!!!"

I heard the door slam so loud. Simultaneously, the cry of a girl, who was none other than my daughter, sounded so screeching from inside her room. My little girl, now grown up, knew for sure that she could not escape this time. Yes, he had no reason to refuse his father's wishes anymore. He had to marry the man his grandfather chose, to enlarge our business empire.

As has always been the case, the father and son who both have a strong disposition will lock themselves in their respective rooms, after their quarrel. Basically, I could see that both of them were actually both injured.

Geck..Geck..Geck..

"Darling... Open door! It's Mama." I tried to persuade my daughter to let me accompany her.

"Honey.. Mama wants to talk to you. May darling?" I tried to seduce him again.

"If you're talking just to support your decision, then you better not go into my room." I heard my daughter speaking in a high tone from behind the door. Really his father's descendants.

"Mama is not on anyone's side. Mama just wants to keep you company. May it?" I kept wooing my stubborn daughter.

Chequek!!

The door to his room is open. I didn't expect him to grant my wish so quickly. At times like this, I finally realized that he actually still needed a friend to talk to.

I saw him walking again towards the bed and immediately laid himself in a face down there. I closed the door slowly, then rushed to him.

I sat my body next to his body lying on my back, and I put my hand on his hair, and I stroked the long black hair a few times. My stubborn daughter let out her sobs. Something I rarely see, considering my girl is so arrogant and stubborn.

"I just want to write my own love story without the help of anyone else. I just want to live like a normal human being in general, Ma." I heard my girl pour out her heart.

"Mom knows, baby." I kept stroking my daughter's hair.

"Mama doesn't know. My mother never knew. Mama accepted Papa that time easily even though she was betrothed to Papa. I'm not the Mama who can please everyone." My beautiful son is now a grown man. Right now, he can even refute my words.

"You're right! Mama didn't do a rejection like you did, when she was betrothed to your Papa back then." I just smiled in response to his words.

"I used to wonder, how could a gentle woman like mama survive with a stubborn man like papa? But I just realized it now. Mama always wants to please everyone" he added with burning emotions.

"So that's what you've been thinking all along?" I laughed when I heard his words.

My girl stopped her words for a moment. He remained silent for a while and returned to tears in silence. Although he was very hard on the outside, but I realized that his heart was not that strong.

"That match was terrible for me, Ma. Understand it! I married a man I didn't know. I have to give my life to her, serve all her needs. Oh my God, I can't imagine all that" she said back in her tears, hitting the pillow several times with too much emotion.

"You're right, honey. I also imagined it first, when Oma and Opamu said that they would match me with your Papa." I paused my words for a moment.

"Why didn't Mama refuse?" I saw my daughter turn her body. He seemed to be curious about my reasons.

"Trust me dear! Only my body accepts it, while my soul hates it." I looked at my son's face, which looked confused.

"I mean mama? I don't understand." My grown little daughter has now even upheld her sitting position. I knew that he wouldn't let me go before I explained everything.

"Do you have time, baby?" I asked gently.

"I hope you really have it, because it takes a lot of time to listen to this story. A hidden story. A story that no one else knew except the main cast in this story, and therefore I prefer to call it 'The Untold Story'." I took a deep breath and exhaled heavily before starting my story, which hopefully could be finished in one night.

*Jakarta: 2003*

Plants and animals, water and air, earth, sky and man. Everything moves in rhythm on its axis in a circle of life. True, I call it rhythmically on its axis, but perhaps many people know it better with the word balanced.

I am a woman who believes in balance in nature. I believe that joy and sorrow will come and go in a balanced way in human life. There is no eternal laughter, nor eternal tears.

But this morning, when the sun had even just woken up from its bed, I doubted what I had believed. Nope-no... The doubt has even arisen since last night, when my parents spoke and asked me to marry a man I had never even met.

And as usual, I couldn't refuse their request. In those moments, I realized that this was the beginning... The beginning of an eternal cry.

I am the only daughter of a wealthy businessman in Jakarta. This position makes me the perfect person for my family.

From childhood, I was educated to obey and put family above my own interests. At that time, I assumed that everything I was taught was good. Of course, what is not good about putting our family first? But, after last night's conversation, I only found out their true purpose.

It's not all for the family. All for money and success.

Unfortunately, even after knowing all that, I still could not resist. I can't say no to my family, because since I was a child I wasn't educated with that kind of rejection. Even now I have to be ready to sacrifice my own feelings. Sacrificing my feelings without excuse has loved a man who was not worth it to us.

Name's Indra. She is an artist, a professional dancer. I knew him at the dance class I was taking. He was often my partner in that dance class.

I like her so much. I love it every time we dance together. I love how she touches me, treats my body as if I were her queen. Until that love turned into love and I knew he felt the same way, even though none of us expressed it.

Hence..... This is where I am now. In front of a private pool on the left side of my family's mansion. Accompanied by the sound of water gurgling that even now feels not heard at all in the ear.

This morning, I was carrying myself in silence. I do Yoga. The only activity that can take me in peace. Yoga was not popular that year, but I was lucky to learn it through my friend, who was a foreign citizen of Indian nationality when we were in college.

Yoga is my way of finding peace. While the demands of being the only daughter of a distinguished and wealthy family heir make me an inauthentic human being, yoga is the only way for me to find my true self.

Yoga is my way of removing that mask that is almost seven times twenty-four hours, I always wear in front of everyone. The masks that make me look perfect in their eyes. A very coveted daughter.

"Bellatrix!" I heard Mommy's voice calling out to me and broke all the calm I had managed to embrace.

"Well..." I exhaled heavily while opening my closed eyes.

"Darling! Get ready! You'll meet your future husband in two hours." I turned my head until I could see the face of the woman who gave birth to me clearly.

I wanted to scream and rebel. However, again it was not the face full of anger that I showed him. I put my mask back on and I smiled at him in full consciousness.

"Mommy can't wait to see your expression later. You'll be so happy to know how your future husband looks." I didn't answer. I just kept putting on my fake smile in front of the woman who was almost half a century old.

If only he could know my heart without saying it. If only he had known that I was so broken now.

I felt that I was being plunged into a deep abyss of hell. First of all, I will see the face of the devil, then I will tie my body to that demon, and then I will fuse into his world. And even more sad is.... It's all gonna start in a few hours.
