THE WOMAN (END)

THE WOMAN (END)
•93-A

I was glued for a long time, looking around the lonely shoulder of the road, and then trying to gather back the old memory pieces in my head.

That night, I just came home from the dormitory heading home to pick up some of my personal belongings.

I sipped back at the beer can in my hand, I smiled lightly. If only Doctor Hasan knew, I drank while driving a car. He would have gone berserk, but, I had no other choice. Drinking a few beers won't make me drunk. My head has been tired of studying all day.

With a tired body, and also a little hungry. My eyes spread the look of looking for fast food stalls.who knows there is a food menu that can arouse my appetite.

Naught,

There's not a single store that I think is good for my little picky stomach taste. Especially if you see a lot of customers in each store, and I refuse if I have to queue food there with people I do not know.

I breathe heavily.

I turned my face to the shoulder of the left road. There are only a few shops that look crowded.I drove my car faster, passing the road a little quiet and dark. whereas it was only 7 pm. the atmosphere became increasingly tense because the condition of the street lamp in front of me died.

I threw away the horror thoughts that suddenly appeared in my mind. Don't let me hallucinate or even worse see the apparition.

"Geez!"

I shrieked softly, when I saw the figure of a woman sitting on one of the benches on the side of the road that I was passing. I wanted to immediately run away and drive my car as soon as possible, I don't know why my heart was moved and watched him carefully.

"It doesn't look like a ghost" I muttered as I stopped my car.

I looked deeper, and how shocked I was when I found out that the woman was in an old pregnancy.she was heard complaining and grimacing in pain.

"Will she give birth?" my thinking.

Maybe that night, my humanity side was emerging so easily I felt pity and wanted to help him. Moreover, the conditions there were very quiet.Pity if there was no one to help. a few times the car crossed the place but they did not stop at all.

I opened the car door and immediately ran towards him, I ventured to ask even with my head a little dizzy.

"Mom? do you want to give birth?" many doubt.

"Yes sir! help me!" the woman moaned, as if she was out of steam.

"Will you go to the hospital? or going home?"

"I'd like to see my husband at the terminal, sir, but it looks like my baby is coming out now!" his moans.

I was stunned to look around me. There was no one I could ask for help.

"There is a maternity clinic sir. you can take me there please!" woman holding her stomach.

Crazy one! this is really Crazy.

I who had never interacted with anyone carelessly, even had to help women give birth. Of course I was panicked and confused.

"Yes.mom just got in my car." I suggested.

In the middle of my impasse, I finally saw him get in the car, no matter what happens next.

"Hold mom," I tried to hold back the nausea and dizziness that started to hurt me.

I got in the car and rushed to one of the clinics he was referring to. During the 15-minute trip, I didn't talk or ask him anything. all I thought about was taking her to the clinic before she gave birth in my car.

Upon arrival in front of the clinic I immediately helped the woman out of the car. The first time I saw her face at a glance. The woman was beautiful and looked young, it was possible that she was a little older than me.

"Suster!" I called a nun who then came in a wheelchair.I was just about to break her suddenly the nausea in my stomach was pressing until it felt bitter in the throat. I ran away from the clinic looking for a dark place to break my stomach.

I let out a lethargic breath.

This must be because I was late to eat, to make my body react like this. moreover I drink.

After a while, I returned to my car, but I was curious about the woman I helped. I finally set foot into the clinic.

At the age of me who just turned 19 years old.the first time I felt like I entered the maternity clinic.

"From whom, my wife? her mother's in the room over there," the nurse approached me.

I looked at him in shock. Wife? that's right. Do I look like a married man.

"I just want to look at it for a minute" I replied lightly. It's also free to explain if we don't know each other.

"May Please."

I peeked out from behind the door. I saw the woman was groaning in pain. her appearance was like an ordinary woman.it was nothing special.only, she was beautiful. so it was clear in my mind when I saw her first time.

"So right, she's that girl.." My sigh after finding the answer to the thing that baffled me when I met him.

I reached into my suit pocket and immediately contacted Mr. Ilham.

"Hello sir, I'm sorry to interrupt. is Mr Ilham still in the factory?" I'm not good because I've been bothering him.

"I'm at home sir. Is there anything important? tumben once you called outside office hours?" the answer was a little surprised.

"I think I'm still in the office. I want to ask for help. does Mr. Ilham remember the woman we saw last afternoon. who brought some production goods?"

"Oh yes, I remember. why sir?"

I was silent long enough to think. How should I speak? let me explain if I'm curious. UH! it would look so stupid.

"Hello, Mr Sandy?" mr. Ilham's voice sounded loud because I never answered his question.

"Can Mr Ilham give me the woman's personal data? and whatever you know about him." My love.

"For what, sir? please don't fire, sir! he works well.he is also diligent, although often late." as well as Ilham who seems to have the opposite thought to me.

"Calm down sir, I'm not going to fire him. I hope, tomorrow it can be sent yes sir!" I said it again and then hung up the phone immediately.

I do not want Mr. Ilham to ask at length about my request which must be strange according to him.

I turned my eyes back to that roadside bench. I don't know what happened until I felt like getting to know him.
