Ch 44 - Slowly Start Open

Everyone was surprised to hear the statement made by the doctor Afifah. They are at a loss for words.

Mom moves in first and approaches doctor Afifah. He held the arm of doctor Afifah with trembling hands.

"stand. Meet your wife. Don't wail uselessly like this!" Aaron pulled Alex's body. "There's still a chance for you two. I don't know what your problems are, but I'm sure you can still fix them. Meet him." Aaron patted his sister on the back, then he took Alex to Khansa's room. Let the man be there.

After Aaron died, Alex raised his face. His body trembled at the figure lying weakly on the bed. Guilt and regret enveloped his heart.

Step by step he approached the figure. His body did not stop trembling with emotion. His feelings are very mixed. The feeling of self-blame overpowers it.

Alex cries while hugging Khansa's body. Apologizing while making up. He begged Khansa to forgive him and give him a second chance. His voice sounded slashing, seemingly filled with regret. Everyone who heard it would definitely know that the voice was actually coming from the deepest expression of his heart.

Alex was crying there. The whole family looked sad to see it. Some people walked into the room and comforted her, telling her to stay calm and reassuring that Khansa and the baby were fine.

Alex started to calm down a little. Tears had receded from his face, yet his eyes still looked teary. He kissed Khansa's hands and forehead many times. Sometimes he whispered, saying that he loved his wife. She also kissed Khansa's stomach, saying the same thing to her son.

Suddenly the door of the room opened. Alex was too lazy to see who was coming. He thought it must be one of his family. Alex stays focused on Khansa. Shoving the hair on his forehead and coming back to kiss his forehead.

"See what?" tanyanya. Diana thrust out the phone Alex knew belonged to Khansa.

"So I was going to call your doctor. Due to the confusion of searching in the contact list, I started to open the chat. I know I've been disrespectful. But because of that, I accidentally saw this chat." Diana paused for a moment, staring at Alex fixedly, "Al, are you sure Khansa knows our true relationship?"

"What do you mean Di?" Alex grabs the phone and reads the chat Diana showed him. The chat came from Sizil which contained photos of himself and Diana who were quite friendly. The content of the chat asked, is the man in the photo is himself? It was true that the photo was her, then what was the problem?

"Al, are you sure Khansa knows that our relationship is only in-laws? Are you sure she knows I'm pregnant with Aaron's child? Because, looking at the contents of that chat, I'm not sure she knows." Diana looked at Alex who was still reading the chat in seriousness. Read it over and over again, as if it took a long time to understand it.

"In that chat, they assumed that you were my husband. Everyone who reads gossip will assume the same. The question is, does Khansa think that way too?"

Alex looked at Diana. From his gaze seemed uncertain and full of doubt.

"I'm sure he knows.." she said softly.

"Did you tell him directly?"

"No. But I'm sure her parents told me everything about my condition." Alex's voice grew louder and more uncertain.

"Where did you know that Khansa's parents told you about your condition? Did Khansa tell you that herself? Or her parents?!"

Alex was silent, his face was confused. As if to deny that Diana's words were not true.

"Oh my goodness Al!! Looking at you like this, I'm getting more and more sure he doesn't know it!! Look Al, he didn't reply to the message. If he knows our relationship, he should refute his friend's question. He will say that our relationship is not what most others think it is. But Khansa didn't avenge Al."
