You're Not a Figurant

You're Not a Figurant
Ch 67 - Wedding Plan

In the end, it was a long day for Papa Atmadja's family. After the birth drama of Alex and Khansa's sons, this time the drama continued with the birth of Aaron and Diana's daughters.

If Khansa was very calm and endured the pain, but not with Diana. The woman was screaming. Swearing came out of his mouth every pain came. While Aaron became months of frustration. I don't know how many junk and scratches Aaron received. The man accepted it with resignation.

Within a period of four hours, a beautiful princess was again born into the world. The joy is felt by the big family.

There are no problems with the mother and baby so that after two days of treatment, the mother and baby can go home.

The family decided to stay at Pondok Indah house. Alex's family stays at Aaron's while the Khansa family stays at Alex's house.

Alex hires two baby sitters to look after Al's baby including Winda, though Khansa doesn't want to. Pediatricians come home every day to monitor Alkha's development and educate Alex and Khansa in baby care.

Their days are filled with babysitting. Alex becomes a standby father. He was always quick and responsive. Be the first to wake up when baby Al cries in the middle of the night. Trying not to wake Khansa if not urgent.

She's smart to change diapers, dress or calm the restless baby Al. The only thing she can't do is breastfeed. 😌

His busyness in taking care of baby Al made him a little more distract him in fasting not to touch his wife's body. But it's certainly not entirely effective.

There are nights when baby Al is so calm that it does not disturb the sleep of both parents. On such nights he would feel restless. Every time I see Khansa his passion is burning. I don't know when this desire will fade? Maybe forever it will be like this.

Whether or not to get pregnant, Khansa is always exciting in her eyes. When that desire came all he could do was flutter his body with cold water. Sometimes his old hobby reappears, which is playing solo while imagining being touched his wife's body. Of course Khansa does not know about this behavior. He didn't want to burden Khansa with something like this. Khansa will definitely feel guilty and will eventually help her. He didn't want that to happen.

Today is exactly the 35th day baby Alkha and baby Arana were born. All Javanese traditional rituals as a welcome to the two babies have been completed, be it mendhen batir (burying ari-ari), brokohan (barokah/shakuran), sepasaran, puputan, aqiqah or selapan.

The show has just ended. The extended family gathers in the living room of Alex's house.

"According to Papa, this is the right time to talk about it. Papa is also tired of being disturbed by your mother every day. But Mama's intentions are also right."

"What is this Pa about?" ask Aaron.

"On your marriage. You must marry again. This time it must be legal in state or religion. In addition to affirming your status, this will also make it easier to take care of everything in the future, especially for your children. Your mother also has big dreams of holding a reception for you. Don't disappoint him."

Alex and Aaron looked at each other. Seemed thinking. Then they turned their eyes to each other's wives, as if to see their reactions hearing Papa's words.

"Do you agree?" ask Papa.

"I agreed to remarry Pa. But not with the recipe. You don't want a reception either, do you, honey?"alex said as he looked at Khansa.

"I'm up to you. I'll follow whatever your decision is..." Khansa. From his face looks a disappointment that he was trying to hide.

"Yet you are insensitive, Al?! Every woman wants a reception for her wedding. Apparently yesterday's problems haven't deterred you?!" Mama glared, looking at Alex with a murderous look.

"Prophe Ma. Don't lure. We're here to talk about their marriage." Papa tried to relieve Mama's emotions that began to peak.

"Related Pa! Your son is not smart!"

"Stay patient Ma. So-so is he your son too," Mama prepared to argue, but her words were cut off by Aaron who agreed to all those plans.

That night I made a decision. They will get married in town J two weeks later. All preparations will be made by the mother. They just need to prepare the guests who will be invited. The four of them will be married on the same day.

A week before the wedding ceremony, Alex and Khansa's entourage, Aaron and Diana and their baby leave for the city of J with all the assistants.

They stayed at their parents' mansion. The first time staring at the house made Khansa dumbfounded. All the memories turned back in his head. He used to only be able to see the house from outside the fence while looking for Alex who ended up following Alex to the airport.

This time he even entered the mansion as the son-in-law of the owner of the house, the wife of Yohan Alexander, a man who became the idol of one school.

Sometimes Khansa thinks that all this is just a dream. How could a 99% man choose her? The man who has everything good is wealth, intelligence, good looks and a good heart?

Why is Alex's family so kind to hers? Not looking into the simple eyes of his family? Not ashamed to have a former taxi driver? Was he the number one man in the city?

All of this is the blessing God has given him. Khansa is always grateful and grateful to remember it all.

"My room's over the yank. Sorry if it's a mess." Alex's right hand held Khansa's hand, while his left hand held baby Al in his arm.

Although it is two-story, Papa Atmadja's family home is larger and grander than the homes of his sons. Khansa still couldn't stop being dumbfounded at the glitz.

Alex leads Khansa to her room and opens the door slowly. The impression that Khansa first saw, was that the occupant of the room must have been a teenager. Many of the posters of the bands were popular in his day, while the guitar lay in the corner of the room.

In front of the bed there is a large TV equipped with various game consoles. The only thing that was different from the room was the presence of a cot on the side of the main bed.

"When I graduated high school I rarely went home. So the state of the room was left as it used to be. Sorry if you're not comfortable" Alex put the sleeping baby Al in bed and kissed Khansa's hand.

"I remember seeing you play guitar during a class meeting, but after marriage I never saw you play it."

"Why do you suddenly talk about guitar?"

"Eitherway. Suddenly I missed the unreachable figure that all the girls in one school felt," Khansa spread her head over Alex's chest, her gaze daydreaming. "It was unexpected that the figure had now become mine. How lucky I am..."

"I wish I could show you my heart... Believe me, baby, I'm the lucky guy. Every night I never stop thanking God for sending you to me. Thank you for accepting and loving this imperfect man..." They looked at each other with friendly eyes, so large penjar-gland of love was visible in their eyes. Slowly their faces approached, a friendly kiss began to latch.
