You're Not a Figurant
Ch 60 - Our Dating

"Open your face, baby. He said he'd take a walk?"

"No way."

"Say you go to the mall? Looky. We're at the mall right now."

"But I don't want to go like this. If you know like this, mending do not have to walk." wailed Khansa while still covering her face with both hands. Alex smiled knot. He peeped at the top of his wife's head.

"Open your face. Otherwise, I'll kiss."

"No way."

"The khansa? I count to three. One, two, ti..."

"Yes, yes, I opened it. My face. Pleased see?!"

"Cup, cup, cup..."

"Bag!!" Alex managed to steal some kisses.

"Haha. Take a walk." he said with a big laugh. It was like Khansa was pinching the man.

They entered the mall not too far from their home. Khansa asks for a mask, but Alex doesn't allow it. In the end Khansa had to endure the embarrassment of seeing the gazes of those who had always been fixed on her.

"Where are we, ma'am?"

"To the baby supply store Mas,"

"So your walk to yank baby gear shopping?"

"Yes Mas. Nyicil. Yesterday was nowhere. I was busy, and I wasn't allowed to go anywhere. I haven't bought anything yet..." Alex fell silent. His heart returned pain. How many mistakes he made with his wife. It seems like an apology while kissing his wife's feet will never be enough to make up for all his mistakes.

Alex squatted down and looked at Khansa. He took the woman's hands and kissed her.

"Mas, what? Shame to see people..."

"I'm sorry..."

"Nothing to forgive. Come stand. Push me. Or I'll stand alone,"

"Yes dear," Alex kissed the woman's forehead briefly before pushing back the wheel's curso.

As Khansa requested, they went to a store that sold baby supplies. His intention was to buy only a few items, but as usual Alex back to act. The man could not wait to see his wife who was weighing what to buy and what not.

"Bak, this one's a series wrapped all. That one, that one and that one over there it's also wrap." Alex pointed to a row of baby born equipment consisting of various kinds of goods. "Huh, wrap everything up Ma'am. Everybody!!" Alex handed the black card to the shopkeeper who seemed agape at him.

"Mas, what the hell!" Khansa pinched Alex's arm.

"Too long to be choosy dear. Mending in all the packs."

"But not all the stuff we need. Our baby is a guy, here are a lot of equipment for baby girls..."

"Yes what's wrong? Make her sisters Alkha can," Alex turned back to the shopkeeper, "Wrap everything. All!!"

"Eh, uh good sir. I-I called my boss first sir..."

"Bak, don't pack it all. My husband's a little bit, "Khansa made a gesture with her hand that seemed to state that Alex was stressed. It was able to make the shopkeeper smile stifled.

"Honey, don't talk about me." threatened Alex. "What is waiting for?! Wrap everything. I don't want the goods on this display. Give items that are new and have not been touched by any human hand. My son should have all the best."

Khansa did not want to hear her husband's rant. He was busy talking to the shopkeeper. Eventually Khansa told the shopkeeper to pack the needed items. One product for each kind of goods, customized as required.

Alex stared in satisfaction as the shopkeeper swiped his card, while Khansa pouted at her husband's behavior.

It may be true, people say, money can almost buy everything. It was seen before his eyes. Once he found out that Alex was buying almost all the contents of the store, the store owner immediately came and adored Alex. Treat Alex like a king, and of course Khansa his queen.

They promised to deliver the goods on time. After completing the transaction, Alex pushes Khansa's wheelchair out of the store.

"You're happy to be adored, aren't you? Feel happy that someone else is under you and adores you?"

"Darling, why do you think that?" alex asked in surprise.

"That was. You're happy to attract attention..."

"Darling, I didn't do it to attract attention. I just bought the best for our son,"

"But it does not need to until the entire contents of the store also Mas. What if it's unused? Mubazir. I know you have a lot of money, but don't overdo it like that either. Use as it should, as needed, bla..bla..bla..." Khansa preached, Alex was just listening, saying yes even if he was told to return all those things he wouldn't do it.

"Yes I understand, baby. Next time I won't repeat" Alex said, pretending to be sorry. "Where are we going now? It's impossible to go home, right?" Alex tried to distract.

Khansa did not want to go home. He still wants to go for a walk. All this time she had no dating experience. I want her to enjoy that time with her husband.

"Emm, usually if people are going to the mall, why would Mas?" the question was plain, making Alex laugh again. Anxiously the man pinched Khansa's cheeks and nose.

"Unfortunately we are in a public place. When I'm home, I've eaten you yank, pfftttt..."

"Seriously dong Mas..." Khansa again pinched Alex's arm.

In the end, they decided to watch a movie in the cinema. Alex put a wheelchair in the corner of the room and then carried Khansa up to her seat. They watch romantic comedy movies.

Khansa put her hand on Alex's arm and rested her head on her husband's shoulder. While Alex was incessantly peeping at Khansa's forehead.

"Mas, you know what?"

"Hem? Know what?"

"Watching a movie with you like this is one of my dreams..."

"really?" alex's voice was choked.

"Yes. I've been imagining it since High School. I didn't think the things I dreamed about one by one could become real. Thank you for returning my feelings..." Khansa grabbed Alex's face. Their eyes looked at each other, visible crystals of tears in the corner of their eyes.

Alex kisses Khansa's hand, kisses her slowly and puts it on her cheek. "This is my dream too, my dear. The girl I thought hated me loved me too. To this day, I still don't believe that. Thank you for putting me in your heart. Thank you for giving your heart to you. I promise to take care of her and not hurt her. Take care of my heart, too, dear," Alex grabbed the other Khansa's hand and placed it on her chest, as if declaring that the contents inside her chest had been empty, because it had been given to Khansa completely.

"What is your other dream, dear? I promise I'll give it all to you." Alex looked at Khansa closely, seeming earnest with his words.

"My dream, only one is you... Marry you, have your children, take care of our children and age with you..." Khansa said shrewdly. Alex couldn't hold back his feelings.

"That's my dream too" he said and immediately kissed his wife's lips gently and affectionately. They dabbled together, dyed the tears that flowed down their cheeks, enjoyed those friendly moments until finally their intimacy ended when the floodlights shone on them, make their presence and behavior seen by others.

"Woi, if you want to bawdle just find a room. Not here!" say some people. Khansa hid her face in Alex's chest too embarrassed to look around her.

"We're husband and wife!! We are free to do anything and anywhere!!" alex said riled, not to lose or feel guilty.

"But not in public places too!!" they answered almost simultaneously, making Khansa even more embarrassed.
