You're Not a Figurant
Ch 52 - I Don't Want to Split

"He where is Ma? I want to see him, huuuu..."

"Lho, why so cry gini? Ma'am, why is our daughter crying?" Mama looked at Mother who was moving towards her while still holding back Khansa's body that was shaking with tears.

"It's obvious she wants to see her husband Dek. Don't get in the way,"

"Darling, do you really want to see Alex? Wh why? Don't you want to separate from him? Why bother to see him? Hem?" Mama re-encapsulated Khansa's face. Staring at the teary face was fixed.

"Ma... I-i'm sorry... I-I want to see him... D-where is Ma?"

"Im sorry for what? There's nothing to be sorry about, baby,"

"I-I want to see her Ma... What's he sick of? W-why should be treated too? A-is the condition severe??"

"Why do you care, baby? Didn't you ask to separate? For what to care about him..." Khansa shook her head. Feeling desperate because Mama seems to be deliberately preventing her from meeting Alex.

"Ti-no Ma.." said Khansa stammered.

"It's okay?" press Mama with a fishing tone.

"I don't want to split Ma. I don't want to. Let me meet him Ma... I-I'm sorry Ma... I'm begging... Huuu..." Khansa is crying again. Mama immediately grabbed Khansa's body in a hug. A sigh of relief sounded simultaneously. Mama and Mama looked at each other with meaningful gazes, while small smiles were on their lips, as if to say that the tactics used had worked.

"All right, don't cry anymore, baby. You want to meet the fool? Come on, Mama help to get ready, yeah,"

The condition of Khansa's body that requires bedrest makes it should not be too long in a standing position. For that Afifah doctor advised him to use a wheelchair in every activity.

Actually Afifah doctor forbade Khansa to get out of bed, but the woman insisted. His heart raged at Alex. He would never calm down before seeing Alex in person. Thinking of Khansa's emotional state, doctors finally allowed Khansa to see Alex.

Dad helped Khansa. He took her body and put her in a wheelchair. Before that there had been a little drama between the two, which essentially Dad apologized for all his cold attitude all along. They embrace and forgive each other.

He pushed the wheelchair with the company of several families. Passing through the corridor after the hospital corridor until finally they stopped in front of the door of a room.

"Just get here, Dad..."

"Reluctantly unwilling to be accompanied?"

"No Well. Khansa go alone."

"Alright Nduk. Hope you guys settle your misunderstandings soon, yeah,"

"Yes Dad, thank you so much..."

"One more time I'm sorry. I didn't expect Dad's decision to get you married Siri would make your daughter suffer. I'm sorry Nduk..."

"Khansa also regretted, because it made Dad embarrassed.." the two looked at each other with teary eyes, then hugged each other. So relieved of Khansa's heart, now she knows her parents are not that happy to throw it away. Her parents still love her.

"He's inside. Come in." he said slowly while opening the door wide. Khansa slowly got down from the wheelchair and stepped into the room.

"We'll leave you. Solve your problems." Finished saying that, Dino closed the door from the outside. It was as if it wanted to lock up the stupid couple and would never open the room before the two completely reconciled.

After Dino locked it from the outside, Khansa felt bad. She was so confused what to behave like? Just a moment ago, he insisted on asking to separate from Alex. But soon after, he changed his mind. Would Alex not find it strange? Too wishy-washy? What if Alex refuses this time?

Why is his mind going everywhere? Didn't he come to see Alex who was sick? What pain actually...

"Hoeeekk... Hoooeeek... Hooooeeek..." Khansa heard the sound of people vomiting in the toilet. Only Khansa realized, the spacious VVIP treatment room was empty. There were no patients in the bed. Is the patient in the toilet?

"Hoooeek... D-din... Help me... Hooooooeekk..."

Khansa heard Alex's weak voice coming from the toilet. His heart ached and worried. With a hasty step he approached the toilet whose door was half closed.

Khansa saw the pitiful man bowing behind her. Spewed out all his stomach. One hand held his stomach, while the other tried to hold the wall, holding his body from falling.

Without Khansa noticing, her tears had fallen. His heart ached to see the condition of the man he loved was so sad. His body slowly moved closer to the man's body. It felt like Khansa was hugging that fragile-looking body from behind. But he realized, the man's body was not able to be used as a backrest. The owner of the body is in a weak condition now.

Instead of hugging Alex from behind, Khansa patted him on the back. Rubbing it, hoping by doing so, will make the owner of the body improve. Khansa could not hold back her endless falling tears.

"Dina.. Why.me...still...nause... Though...already spewed...all.." Alex's voice sounded weak and stammered. Cold sweat drenched his forehead. His face looks pale and pias. It was as if blood was no longer flowing from his body.

"Hiks... Hix... Hicks..." Khansa was already unable to hold back her stuffing. Her cry broke out along with her hand that grabbed Alex's body from behind. Alex's body is pushed forward, but by reflex the man's hand holds on to the wall to hold them both down.

"Ma-sorry... Excuse me... Sorry..." Khansa was crying. A shrill apology unceasingly came out of his mouth, while his hand clasped Alex's body tightly, so unwilling to let go.

"I'm sorry... Mas... Sorry me... Huuu... Why are you being like this? Huuu... Why is this sick? Huuu..."

Alex's body stiffened as soon as he heard the voice he so missed. He felt like he was dreaming, but why did this feeling feel so real? Why does this hug feel so warm? Why does his back feel soaked with tears? Why does that cry feel real?

Alex stared at the white hand that was hugging her body tightly. He moved his head, hoping that doing so would wake him up from his dream. Several times he did so, but a tight hug and a sobbing sound were still heard.

Alex dared to hold that hand. And... His heart seemed to be detached from the chest cavity as soon as he realized that the hand was really real.

Alex held the hand tightly, as if afraid it would move away from his body. Without taking off his grip, he twisted his body quickly to look at the owner of the hand.

A glint of expression filled his face. Surprised, confused, haru, and happy to be one.

"Sa-honey??" said restrained.
