Absolute Double Power

Absolute Double Power
Verse-30

The next day, Shin Wu dropped out of duty and changed into civilian clothes.

He wore a white black-brimmed cloak of gold mixed with a colored belt and black knee-length boots that were also gold.

On the grounds of wanting to go hunting, he darted into the forest spurring his horse unguarded, down the gently sloping grass field and was mesmerized by the green scenery that spread wide around him.

The frothy air, so light as a cloud, caressed his neck. His long hair that was tied tight to the back, whipped like a ponytail.

He looked around.

At the other end of the field, the ground level again sloped and continued to decline. Skinny trees were lined among the weeds bushes as tall as the waist of an adult.

He could not estimate how wide the grass field was.

Three hundred and sixty degrees expanse of blue and earth, mountains and valleys, where blue turns purple then green, yellow, and pale brown.

It was just a moment, a single breath. One moment when things went up an octave and he felt a tremor in his spine.

After walking far enough, he finally reached the village of Naseli, where he played as a child and found a wilderness darker than he remembered.

He stopped his horse under a tree.

Naseli really is a dead village!

From the ramps he saw a lake in the valley near a tree that only looked like a silhouette.

The fog floating on the surface of the water looks like hot water vapor inside the cup.

He decided to descend into the valley and find out if the place was Jinzhi valley.

He jumped down from his horse and tethered the horse there.

The crackling behind her made her turn around, and just at that moment she saw a brown-white hairy ground squirrel snuck into the back of a pile of dried leaves.

Shin Wu twisted his body again, and stepped into the forest, dry twigs creaking down on his heavy armor shoes.

"What are you doing? Don't go near the forbidden forest!" Suddenly someone's voice scolded him.

Shin Wu flinched and looked around, then bowed looking intently at the squirrel. "You talking to me?" he widened his eyes in disbelief.

Don't be silly, Shin Wu! He scolded himself. Where is it possible that a squirrel can talk. He jerked his head back, thinking he would see Hua Zu laughing at him. But he found himself alone.

With eyes squinted, the man looked back at the little brown-white-haired squirrel and approached him.

"Haha.." The little squirrel looked up and his head swayed. Like I was laughing.

A laugh? Shin Wu gasped. The squirrel laughed? I must be crazy!

The squirrel was now wagging its tail, then tilting its head, looking at Shin Wu with a scornful look.

Shin Wu gulped, then twirled his eyeballs and exhaled loudly. My brain went completely wrong, inwardly, then once again he looked at the squirrel and shook his head.

He was just a squirrel, he said in his heart. He massaged his temple then ruffled his waist and kicked the squirrel with the tip of his shoe.

"Hey! Keep attitude! You're really disrespectful." The squirrel glared at him.

"I just want to make sure I'm not hallucinating" Shin Wu said.

"Of course you're not hallucinating. It's just.." The squirrel hung up his sentence while wagging his tail again.

"What is it?" Shin Wu interrupted quickly.

"I didn't think you were so stupid!"

"What did you say?" Shin Wu glared impatiently. "You're a moron!" hardikiknya while pointing at the squirrel. Nice work! it's in the heart. So now I'm starting to have a new hobby - fighting with squirrels?

"You're so easily fooled!"

Shin Wu jerked his head to the side and faced off against the most shining man on earth. "Hua Zu's! Kau—" he stuttered while pointing at Hua Zu and the squirrel in turn. Then it exploded in wrath, "SIALAAAAAN!!!"

"You should have seen what you looked like earlier," Hua Zu sneered with a slanted smile.

"Shut your mouth!" Shin Wu unsheathed the sword from his waist and swung it in front of Hua Zu's face hinting at the challenge.

Hua Zu smiled again, then started to flick his shoulders left and right while Shin Wu was already swinging his sword towards Hua Zu.

So in the end they repeat their childhood game on the edge of the same slope on the border of Jinzhi forest.

"That's it," Hua Zu said when they were little. "If you can touch me with your sword, that means your swordsmanship is invincible!"

It was also said to Zhou Hua Zu when they were Jian and Jiyou.

But even Jian's sword could not touch him.

Now, Shin Wu was tenaciously trying to test his abilities with various techniques and movements, while Hua Zu was only twitching a little, or shift a step to the side and back with both hands still folded behind his body.

"I don't want to hurt you" Shin Wu protested as a child.

"Try it," challenged Hua Zu. "Can you hurt me?"

"You underestimated me!" Shin Wu was provoked, then started attacking Hua Zu.

"CHIAAAAAAAT!" Shin Wu tossed his body and twisted in the air, then swooped down the tip of his sword into Hua Zu's chest.

But again Hua Zu only shifted a step and twisted his body slightly.

And Shin Wu's sword was thrown from his hand when it hit Hua Zu's shoulder.

Just like a small time.

"Nothing has changed," Hua Zu commented among her faint smile.

Shin Wu was panting while bending down to bend his stomach.

"You never really studied, did you, Shin Wu?" hua Zu asked seriously. Both of his hands were still folded behind his body.

Shin Wu did not reply. He bent down to pick up his sword and sheathed it back on his waist.

Hua Zu raised next to his brows, demanding an answer.

Shin Wu was bowed with a grim countenance, "I was sentenced to forty lashes and locked up for forty days" Shin Wu said.

"And it took you four months to recover and four years of trauma?" terta Hua Zu's. "Is that why you forgot how to use a sword?"

"Right," Shin Wu replied with a wry smile. Then raised his face and looked at Hua Zu. Next to his eyebrows raised high. "How did you know?"

"I am the god Yuoji," Hua Zu said without the slightest burden. "I know everything in this country."

"Then why are you still asking?" spray Shin Wu impatiently.

Hua Zu smiled faintly. "That's because you're human" he said. "Humans always need to talk from time to time."

Shin Wu instantly fell silent.

"There will be times when you talk more than using a sword" Hua Zu said.

Shin Wu blinked and gulped. His eyes were staring at Hua Zu.

But again Hua Zu only smiled faintly, then suddenly he snatched the invitation plaque tucked away in Shin Wu's belt and waved it at a glance, "I'll come!" he said as he turned his back on Shin Wu and passed away leaving him, soaring and disappearing at a height.

Shin Wu was just frozen staring at the empty air.
