"My name is Xionglue!" The man introduced himself. "I am also a slave" he said. "And my master is a Great God!"
For the Yuoji people, especially the Shashou, the title 'Master' cannot be carelessly pinned to humans.
There are masters there are definitely slaves. That was why the Shashou did not carelessly link the title of 'Master' to anyone but their god.
The majority of the alliance members were Yuoji fanatics, hard-line adherents of the book of the god of light that upheld belief in the Ilojim, and adhered to radical beliefs and principles: the: The Great God promised the land of Zhujia to the Yuoji people.
This radical principle was the basis of Shashou's rebellion against Luoji's position in the land of Zhujia.
They rejected the rule of the foreign nation in their land-the land that the Great God promised to the nation of Yuoji.
"Alright, Xionglue," Xi Xia said raucously as he forced a smile, "Now that you know, I am only a follower of Hua Zu from Naseli. I am also a servant. And my master was condemned to die. What's so good about catching someone like me? No one's gonna redeem me. After all I'm not a spy, not a threat at all. Are you willing to let me go now?" his two eyes blinked weakly like children sulking.
Xionglue laughed in response. "Unfortunately it's not that easy, Xi Xia," he said indifferently. "Have you never heard that our headquarters is a sanctuary?"
Xi Xia stammered inexplicably. Then looked at Hua Zu, demanding an explanation.
The man remained silent.
"I don't understand," Xi Xia confessed.
"No one is allowed in or out alive," Aiguo chimed in and looked at Xi Xia with a serious face. His dramatic face instantly disappeared, changing his real face.
Xi Xia shrieked stifled while smothering his mouth with both hands.
Aiguo turned to Hua Zu and looked at him, "You carried him," he said.
Hua Zu let out a short sigh, looking at Xi Xia while thinking hard and petting.
"He's yours, Hua Zu!" another man chimed.
Uh-oh, Xi Xia thought in fear. What does "your" mean"?
Hua Zu lowered both hands from his chest, then walked slowly closer to the girl.
Xi Xia looked at him with his mouth and eyes rounded. Then it choked when once again the man grabbed her wrist and dragged her. "No--let go of me! I'm not a spy!" his screams thrashed, louder than ever before.
Hua Zu began to lose his patience, he raised the girl to his shoulder, then carried her towards the door.
His friends laughed and cried.
"Take me off!" Xi Xia thrashed while beating Hua Zu's back as they passed back the long passageway between the stalls they had just passed.
The same people looked back at them with dumbfounded faces.
The little boy who had snatched his bracelet grinned as he slipped a dagger into Xi Xia's hand.
Xi Xia gulped, but then clasped the dagger and when Hua Zu's footsteps reached a deserted spot, the girl stabbed Hua Zu in the neck.
JLB!
Hua Zu shrieked and staggered, then fell to his knees.
A shadow flashed behind Xi Xia.
A girl dressed in tight all black without hanfu in the same color tight armor shoes. It was so tight that it didn't look like a piece of clothing, but like part of her skin. Her hair was bunched tightly on both sides of her head forming the ears of a cat, sneaking out from behind Xi Xia's back.
And when Xi Xia turned around, the girl twisted maintaining her position of staying behind Xi Xia.
Xi Xia did not realize it. The girl was too panicked to have stabbed someone and killed him. To kill? Mathew her? He's not sure. Nah! I wish the guy had just fainted. He can't die that easily, right? he thought while fleeing.
Simultaneously, the all-tight dark-clothed girl who came out from Xi Xia's back bowed over Hua Zu's body, lifting the young man up and raising him to his shoulder. Then darted carrying Hua Zu's body to the roof of the dilapidated building and disappeared into the forest.
When Xi Xia had just arrived in front of the courthouse, he saw the crowd already flocking from the building.
The blood splattered along the courthouse made him not remember to pay attention to the others. She screamed as she smothered her mouth with both hands and began to cry.
The girl ran small following the trail of blood earlier in a frenzy, then disappeared within the crowd.
"Xi Xia, where have you been?" Consort Yuwen approached the girl and grabbed her while crying. "This is too horrible, Xi Xia!"
"I saw a lot of blood," the girl befell him as well by crying while peering through the crowd's calf fence, staring at a bloodied body that was crumbling on the ground, he said, amidst the crowd - the golden-haired Hua Zu - crimped under the wooden bars he carried himself while grimacing in pain over the piercingly-pierced lashes.
Xi Xia was aghast when a landing lash blew out a blaring whistle. A crushing blow also hit his heart. Invisible, but it feels real stifling.
Hua Zu's glance swept towards Xi Xia.
"Open Zu!" Xi Xia screamed from the crowd. Next to her hand was stretched out towards Hua Zu while crying. But the crowd was blocking his way.
"Xi Xia," cried Concubine Yuwen scolding him, then pulled the girl aside from the crowd.
The woman's shout attracted the attention of one of Hua Zu's disciples who was struggling in the crowd, the man was also trying to get close to Hua Zu. It was Xi Mo. The man turned his head towards Xi Xia, but then his attention was sidetracked when a soldier shouted towards the crowd.
"Someone! Help her!" hardik soldier was on one of the men who was looking at Hua Zu with a look of pity.
Concubine Yuwen wrapped her arm around Xi Xia's waist and pulled him moving with the flow of the crowd that herded Hua Zu's journey to the square.
By noon, they all finally arrived at the place of punishment.
There were also many women who had seen Hua Zu from far away. They were women who were raised from the dead.
Starting from twelve o'clock, darkness covered the entire place in the area.
Xi Xia looked up to observe the sky that had turned dark. Then look around the whole place.
The mood of the mourning changed. The crying of women is like drowning. A mighty power covered the sky above their heads and froze them all.
"What's up with this sky?" Some of Luoji's soldiers muttered as they looked up to observe the sky. "It's midday, but why does it feel so dark?"
Everyone is dumbfounded.
The power of darkness - the power of all curses, sickness and the curse of sin, all the negative energies from all over the earth gathered at one point, being sucked completely into the place then seeped into Hua Zu's body through each wound. His body floundered swallowing the patient.
