Absolute Double Power

Absolute Double Power
Verse-4

Horror ambushed the entire square. Everyone was frozen in fear.

"Are you going to follow the teachings of a dead god instead of listening to us who are still alive?"

"Of course not, Elder Mu!" someone—the village elder who was none other than Hua Zu's uncle tried to defend the boy.

But when Tuoli threw a sharp glare at him, the man immediately deflected his point. "The boy just spoke out of place. After all he's just a kid."

"Well, that's right. He was still a child," Tuoli responded while forcing a smile. "Come, Son!" talk to him with a softened voice.

Hua Zu did not move.

"Don't be afraid" said Tuoli.

Hua Zu remained unmoved.

Tuoli stepped slowly towards Hua Zu, then stopped a step in front of the boy and bowed slightly, leaning his body towards Hua Zu.

The boy inched a step back. His eyes were moving restlessly alertly.

Tuoli straightened his body while chuckling, then turned towards the line of bodyguards, "Capture that Nephilim!" his orders with a thunderous voice.

Nephilim is a term for a mixed race of gods and humans. Call it, demigod. Mixed descendants of the intermarriage between human women and men of the god race.

Although the belief in the god of light has been abolished, the story of the war in heaven between the gods of light and the gods of darkness has been recorded in history, and still continue to be told from generation to generation in generations.

The story of the celestial soldiers that were banished to earth has been known to everyone. Some of them married the daughters of the human race and gave birth to demigods called Nephilim.

But of course it was considered an abomination because the fallen—ras god race that was banished to earth were the rebels and traitors called the demon race.

Any child with a birthmark from the god race is considered a demon and sentenced to death - without exception.

Two soldiers ambushed Hua Zu and dragged him to the center of the square.

Simultaneously, An Nio had just arrived at the front row of the crowd. "No—Hua Zu!" The woman couldn't help herself from screaming.

The soldiers all turned to An Nio, and so did Ma Tuoli.

The women on his left-right immediately ambushed An Nio and restrained him.

"No! release it!" An Nio tried to rebel, until two men finally took over and dragged him behind.

An Nio thrashed. "Open Zu!"

Two soldiers approached An Nio and called him.

Both are now between life and death. The sword of the soldier had been drawn at the necks of the two.

"Wait!" Lim Shin Wu interrupted as the soldier began to press his sword blade against Hua Zu's neck.

All eyes were now on Shin Wu with shocked gazes.

A commander grabbed the boy's shoulder and held him. The commander-in-chief was the sword teacher Shin Wu at the prince's hall. His name is Ong Zixin. "Are you looking to die" he whispered.

"Let me make the sacrifice!" Shin Wu volunteered with Tuoli. Then rushed towards Tuoli.

Tuoli now looked at Shin Wu with squinted eyes, casting a skeptical look.

The commander bent his mouth closer to Shin Wu's ears. "Listen, Young Master Lim," he whispered sharply. "You may be the son of the supreme commander in the kingdom, but you're just an illegitimate son. Not more! If you dare to get close to Elder Ma just one step, I will really kill you," he threatened.

"I must learn to make sacrifices to train my mentality," Shin Wu reasoned. "After all I am an immortal army candidate" he said. "I'll be charged with doing it one day!"

"Good thinking!" Tuoli finally smiled and clapped. "Come here!" her word.

Ong Zixin gulps. Then loosened his grip on Shin Wu's shoulder.

Shin Wu flicked his shoulders and broke away, then walked towards Tuoli.

The man gave her a dagger that was taken from her personal pocket. "Show us your dedication, Warrior!" his challenge. "Show us your value. You're the bastard Luoji!"

"Hmh!" Shin Wu nodded vigorously, then took the knife from Tuoli's hand and approached towards Hua Zu.

"Well!" Tuoli clapped enthusiastically. "Now you have your sacrifices. The Great Spirit God will forgive you."

"No!" an Nio screamed as Shin Wu finally stood behind Hua Zu and draped his dagger around the boy's neck. "Please don't do him!" he lamented at Tuoli.

Tuoli smiled cynically at An Nio, then looked around at everyone. "You see that boy?"

Everyone just bowed. No one dared to react.

"The boy has the mark of the Legion!" Tuoli. "Now you know why your land is cursed!"

Some people agreed. But did not dare to be blunt as he looked disdainfully at Zhu Jiangwu. The elders of their village.

Uncle Hua Zu!

The man froze in a terrible silence. His eyes looked pushyly towards An Nio and Hua Zu.

"Do any of you still want to worship a traitorous god like Jian and Jiyou?" Tuoli began to launch his rhetoric. "Remember! Jian and Jiyou were no different from all the god races that were cast into the earth. They were also forever removed from heaven. They are all demons! Rather than that, wouldn't it be better to follow the obvious god? The Great Spirit God was the supreme god enthroned in the highest heaven to date! There is no god more worthy of worship than he who is still enthroned. Who do you think threw those traitor gods to earth?"

"Yes!" says everyone.

"The Nephilim are the real abominations of the gods of light!" Tuoli added. "Among you, is there still anyone who follows the god of light?"

The audience instantly fell silent. Some of them still worship the god of light secretly. But of course admitting it now was no different from giving himself up for slaughter.

"If you agree that the Nephilim are evidence of abomination, would any of you still object to this Nephilim being sacrificed as an offering to the great spirit god?" Tuoli asked again.

The residents just nodded. Some muttered with a choked voice.

"Do, soldier!" Tuoli gave Shin Wu a warning.

"No!" An Nio screamed again, trying to rebel but the two sword blades crossing in front of his neck made the woman just freeze even though her mouth kept screaming.

Shin Wu wrapped her arm around Hua Zu's shoulder. While he was draping the knife on Hua Zu's neck, his mouth whispered in the boy's ear, "Gigit my hand!"

Hua Zu instantly understood. Without a second thought, he followed Shin Wu's idea.
