Absolute Double Power

Absolute Double Power
Verse-49

What the hell's going on?

Silent!

Hua Zu looked at the two frozen Jieru disciples across the field, both of whom looked just as pale, just as confused.

"You've made a mistake!" Lim Shin Wu growled at Tuoli after dragging the man away from the crowd.

There was a murmur from the crowd, low boisterous like the buzzing of an agitated bee.

"This guy's not a Legion!" shin Wu Protest.

"Yes," Tuoli said. "He may not be a Legion. But he's the sect head of the Shashou."

Hua Zu approached slowly to the pillar of punishment, looking at his father's face, trying to scan for signs of life.

But the middle-aged man remained unmoved. His eyes closed, his mouth tightly closed. Head bowed.

Is he dead? thought Hua Zu.

Is it just this way?

He stretched out one hand and placed his index knuckle in Jieru's nostril. Then he turned to the back of his father and pressed his wrist which was still tied.

There's no breath.

There's no pulse.

He's really dead! thought bitter.

"You fooled me," he sizzled. Then turned forward, looking at his father with a look of blame. "You tricked me!"

The two Jieru disciples across the field exchanged glances with his friend who mingled in the crowd on the other side of the field.

"You're a lousy liar, you fucking Old bastard!" hua Zu's shriek caught the attention of Lim Shin Wu and Ma Tuoli.

Hua Zu fell to his knees in front of his father's body which was still tied to a pole while muttering curses at him, cursing at his father.

Several soldiers turned to him with their eyebrows intertwined, then exchanged glances.

Lim Shin Wu and Ma Tuoli simultaneously turned to Hua Zu, followed by the ninjas near them.

One of Jieru's disciples soon realized, then gave a sign to his friends. Then they tried to signal Hua Zu.

Hua Zu did not notice it. He was still on his knees as the smoldering flint of rock hissed out and the crowd gradually left without speaking.

Shin Wu glanced at Tuoli and tightened his jaw, then turned around and rushed away. He was approaching Hua Zu.

Hua Zu remained unmoved. Alone with his sadness.

Alone with the stench of smoke.

Alone with the cry of a girl who mourned her father who was ringing in her ears.

The ground below was wet with tears.

He lifted his face into the night sky as black as charcoal, with pale white spots of stars here and there.

Then he looked at his father's face again.

There's no sign!

The middle-aged man remained drooped and died.

Die off? thought bitter.

How could you die so easily? it's in the heart.

How can you just die while you can let go of yourself so easily?

I'm here waiting for your sign!

This sign?

Is this his plan?

Die up! his mind is not out of thought.

Lim Shin Wu stopped one step behind Hua Zu.

The disciples of Jieru and Hua Zu's comrades began to be wary.

Shin Wu was already gripping next to Hua Zu's shoulder.

Hua Zu looked slowly. And before he could react, before he realized what was happening, Shin Wu had already unsheathed his sword and pointed it at Hua Zu's neck.

"Batty Shashou!" hardik Lim Shin Wu who was automatically responded to by one by his soldiers.

Hua Zu's comrades darted faster to head off the soldiers while throwing a number of daggers.

SLASHY!

SLASHY!

A TRAAAAANG!

Shin Wu's sword bounced off Hua Zu's neck.

The battle exploded inevitable.

Everyone's shrieks echoed on the edge of the square, then blared into the night sky.

Hua Zu jumped to his feet and catapulted his body, sweeping out a twisting kick.

BUGS!

Shin Wu curbed him by crossing both arms in front of his face.

Hua Zu landed for a while to then bounce her body again and spread her legs out, did a split in the air and landed the heel of her shoe on Shin Wu's shoulder.

Shin Wu managed to dodge it by dropping himself onto the ground, then rolled over quickly as he grabbed his sword and jumped to his feet. He swung his sword towards Hua Zu.

Hua Zu jumped away while throwing a dagger from his sleeve.

SLASHY!

A TRAAAAANG!

Shin Wu managed to brush it off.

On the other side around them, the soldiers started to ferment while the Shashou were bouncing around in the middle of the siege while throwing their daggers.

Civilians scattered away from the square, some oppressed and heartbroken.

The square was rumbling.

Tuoli and his ninja soldiers sneaked silently leaving the battle and darted away.

Soon, a number of bright-haired men sprung up from hidden corners and charged towards Hua Zu.

The three senior disciples of Jieru charged towards them, but in an instant the three sky soldiers of the Kaida Sect ambushed their wrists and pulled him to the side.

"Go!" said the sky army to Jieru's disciple. "Bring all troops back and make sure nothing is lacking. We have died and been resurrected. The sky sword cannot crush us!"

A moment later, the Shashou of the two combined sects darted away leaving the battle.

The three sky soldiers fortified them by intercepting all the soldiers who were trying to chase after them.

"Protect the Prince and the Commander-in-Chief!" shouted a captain.

"Protect yourself!" snorting Tio Jun arrogantly while jumping and setting his foot on the captain's shoulder to catapult himself towards Hua Zu.

Hua Zu skyrocketed while throwing a dagger at Tio Jun.

YOAAARRRR!

Tio Jun's celestial sword fended off the boomerang dagger that Hua Zu threw.

GRAAAAAKKK…

A strand of dark-colored iron chains whipped from the air mysteriously.

Hua Zu spontaneously twisted. I feel familiar with the chain.

Immediately the sky army from his side charged towards Hua Zu and pushed him away from the chain.

GREB!

The chain wrapped around the body of the sky soldier.

"No!" pekik Hua Zu while extending one of his hands towards his comrade while his body slid down.

BRUISES!

Hua Zu's body was plunged on the surface of the ground while his partner disappeared along with the mysterious chain.

In her heart, Hua Zu regretted not bringing her sword.

Hua Zu jumped to his feet and at the same time Lim Shin Wu lunged towards him while swinging his sword.

SLASHY!

The sword slashed through the empty air.

Hua Zu had soared onto the roof of the prison and catapulted his body into the night sky.

GRAAAAAAC!

A chain again, this time slashing his ankles.

"LUSTYOOOO!" hua Zu's comrades shot towards Hua Zu and tried to catch him, but in an instant Hua Zu had disappeared along with the hell chain earlier.

GRAAAAAAC…

Other chains appeared from other directions like lightning lines and struck his body as well.

BLAAARR!

The night sky darkened for a moment before it was completely dark.

WUSH OFF!

Everything disappeared in an instant and instantly Lim Shin Wu froze.

Except for the Luoji soldiers and the civilians who had not run far from the square, everyone disappeared.

The soldiers are together.

Shin Wu froze with a pushy look. His consciousness was drowning in a perplexing horror.

What the hell's going on? thought dazed.
