Absolute Double Power

Absolute Double Power
Verse-5

Hua Zu finally managed to escape…

But her mother's shrill scream made her stop and turn around, then return to the square, greeted by Lim Shin Wu's horrified gaze.

"No! Go!" An Nio begged even though his life was on the edge.

Hua Zu simply froze, while all eyes were now on him.

Two soldiers rushed towards Hua Zu while the soldiers in the middle of the square did not want to buy time—l directly slashed his mother's neck.

Hua Zu was stunned with her mother's last scream followed by a thumping head that fell down. Hua Zu's body simultaneously stiffened and trembled, both of his hands clenched at his sides, his jaws tightening. His gaze was fixed on Tuoli.

Simultaneously, the two soldiers had already reached where Hua Zu was standing.

But suddenly a thunderous thunderbolt grabbed the two soldiers while Hua Zu remained unmoved with a nanar gaze that was still focused on Tuoli.

The earth shook and rumbled.

Everyone was dumbfounded with a trembling face.

How could there suddenly be lightning while the day was this hot? thought they were horrified, yet their eyes were focused to a single point of equal-Hua Zu.

Who caused the thunder?

Some women smother their mouths with both hands. Some cried silently looking at the bends of An Nio's head that were separated from his body, wide with eyes and mouth rounded without the light of life.

Tuoli blinked agitated for a moment while looking up at the clear sky that was bringing lightning in during the day. A terrifying question flashed through his mind, "Who is this person?"

But the chirping of the soldiers' horror then resuscitated Tuoli to keep the durja a spiritual protector.

"That's the answer of the great spirit god!" Tuoli announced. "Eventually the dry season will end" he told a crowd.

The soldiers exchanged glances, staring doubtfully at Tuoli silently. The calm look on his face was clearly just a forced formation. Some soldiers realized it, but none of them dared to show any reproach.

In that uncertain situation, Hua Zu turned around and scattered away from the square, fleeing while shedding tears, then disappearing in the forbidden forest.

The ground became fertile and the dried grass suddenly grew instantly where Hua Zu shed tears, then crept all over the place to the square.

Some people then chuckled in surprise at the incident which they automatically concluded as a sign that An Nio's sacrifice was not in vain.

The grass stopped growing around An Nio's body, while the body suddenly emitted black smoke and immediately began to blacken as it burned, then gradually shrunk and dried like charcoal.

The dark smoke from his body soared high and swirled to form a tornado, then disappeared out of nowhere.

The rest of the poor woman's body creased and slowly began to disintegrate bit by bit, then turned into dust and the dust scattered in the wind.

Silence gripped the entire place around the village square.

Everyone held their breath during the process.

And…

Everyone forgot Hua Zu.

...Meanwhile…...

...At the same time elsewhere…...

"Pull it on!" a ginseng farmer said to his son—a six-year-old boy with black hair as straight as a ruler.

The six-year-old boy was bowing over the roosters, struggling to pluck out a giant ginseng that stuck deep in the hard ground.

While the boy was still wriggling with one plant, the farmer had already plucked dozens of ginseng and tossed them one by one into the basket. "Use your legs, Hua Zu!" he instructed.

It's not Zhu Hua Zu!

But Zhou Hua Zu.

It's no coincidence that her name is Hua Zu as well.

The farmer was Zhou Jieru. Better known as Nongmin-Peani.

There are many farmers in their village. Almost all are farmers. But only Hua Zu's father was called Farmer.

No one knows his real name!

"Stay unplugged," Hua Zu groaned while growling with exertion.

"The greatest is always the hardest" his father said without distracting him from work.

After her father managed to gather one full basket, Hua Zu finally managed to pluck out her ginseng which automatically made her stray backwards.

His father chuckled thinly and shook his head.

The size of ginseng is amazing. Probably more than sixty inches. It was the biggest ginseng they had all day.

Hua Zu jumped to his feet and grinned at his father, then approached while prancing around and brandishing the ginseng in his hands happily.

"You see that?" his father warned. "Something precious is not easily obtained."

Hua Zu stopped prancing around, the sounds of thunderous thumping from the direction of the forest caught their attention.

Hua Zu's father put on an ear. Stiffened and frozen with squashed eyes. Listen carefully.

Then I heard wings.

A number of birds flinched and scattered towards them.

What the hell's going on? thought Hua Zu's father.

At the end of the ripest on the edge of their fields was a ravine. At the bottom of the ravine was a forbidden forest. No one dared to go in there.

So what makes these birds feel disturbed?

Hua Zu's father pulled out a pair of small triangular-shaped daggers tucked away at the back of his belt, staring intently at the forest.

The little dagger was commonly called a sicae. Its size was no bigger than a teaspoon, but its strength could not be underestimated. Shapes vary.

It was the secret weapon as well as the flagship weapon of Hua Zu's father. Such things were tucked away in almost all parts of his body under his dull-looking labyrinth.

Hua Zu's father was famous for the Farmer's call, but he was actually the head of the most respected dagger sect in the entire country.

Who had never heard of the Kuangre Dagger Sect?

It was already a kind of common secret where everyone knew about it, yet no one dared to speak of it openly.

The Kuangre Dagger Sect is an indigenous rebel group of Yuoji who fought with arms to liberate the land of Zhujia from Luoji's rule.

Each member carried a piece tucked inside their robe. At a public meeting, they took out this dagger to attack Luoji's people and his sympathizers, then mingled with the crowd after his action to avoid detection.

The Kuangre Dagger Sect is considered one of the earliest known organized killing units of robes and daggers.

The bushes trembled and the forest below rang out.

Hua Zu's father threw out both of his daggers and in a flash the dagger returned to him like a boomerang. He caught both of them agilely and nimble in a movement as light as the wind.

Hua Zu gasped with an astonished look. But then groaned as none of the daggers hit the target.
