It was time for Hua Zu to present her special gift to Xi Xia.
He raised his hand, and at once someone came to him carrying a wicker basket.
Probably the servant, some thought. But the clothes the man was wearing were nothing like a servant. No less glamorous than the nobles in the banquet hall. The man even brought himself like a noble.
Shin Wu even looked no less confused looking at the servant. Hua Zu had no one after her mother died.
And he's always been alone everywhere.
Where'd he get a waiter?
Was it as long as he disappeared, he actually became king?
Then why is he still living in the forbidden forest?
Is behind the forbidden forest actually hidden a kingdom?
Hua Zu spoke so convincingly when explaining the situation of a kingdom that Shin Wu believed to be his free will in desperation.
But seeing Hua Zu's confidence, plus his fairly high manners, amplified the question that suddenly flashed across Shin Wu's head.
Is that Shangri-La actually a forbidden forest?
Question after question flashed in Shin Wu's mind, and he realized instantly that he didn't know this man anymore.
He's completely different.
And he's also very handsome! I think some women are fascinated.
The man at Hua Zu's side bowed before finally opening the basket cover he was carrying.
Guests held their breaths, between curiosity and eager hope to see something that might be more stunning than just a therapeutic jewel necklace and Mandrake roots.
But again the mysterious guest shatters their hopes.
Governor Pao-Lu could not even cover up his disappointment.
The extraordinary man who claimed to be a king presented a small black-haired cat as his special gift.
Is he kidding? thought everyone.
General Tio Jun hissed laughing as he smothered his mouth.
Xi Xia gnawed uneasily and circulated a glance, then glanced at her brother.
The commander did not react.
Xi Xia finally turned his attention back to Hua Zu and smiled clumsily.
"The protective chakra of good luck bearer," Hua Zu explained among the faint smiles that exuded extremely high confidence.
The male servant behind him simultaneously approached Xi Xia and bowed thrusting the gift.
"Protective chakra?"
The whole room couldn't help but wonder.
"One of the special animals in our country" Hua Zu added.
"What's the specialty?" ask Pao-Lu curiously. "Does it live up to its name?"
"Sure, Governor!" hua Zu replied reassuringly.
Tio Jun chuckled cynically in response. "The bundle of feathers is not even bigger than a wine jar" he scoffed. "How can he be a protector? Protecting from what? Rat attack?"
The entire room laughed uneasily in response to the man.
In contrast to Tio Jun, Tian Xu looked anxious, his face stiffening ever since the basket cover was opened.
Hua Zu glanced at the judge's son through the corner of his eyes and smiled obliquely.
"It looks like just an ordinary cat!" some people's comments are dubious.
Hua Zu simply smiled. Then he flicked his finger at the servant he was carrying, who was none other than the celestial army he had raised in the Kaida sect.
The whole room was shocked. Xi Xia is more.
And instantly, a halo of light dimmed from the cat's body fortified Xi Xia.
The whole room again screamed in surprise.
Xi Xia froze with his eyes and mouth rounded.
Hua Zu's servant's body bounced and slammed.
Pao-Lu did not blink watching the scene.
As the leader of the Luoji nation, the governor was among the most skeptical of supernatural things. His mind was instantly jumbled between curiosity and disbelief.
What tricks did this man use to manipulate everyone's eyesight? he still thinks skeptical.
"That's a spirit monster!" the cry of a royal spiritual expert, could not cover his admiration.
Pao-Lu turned his head. "And what does that mean?" he asked his spiritual expert.
"It's some kind of spiritual beast, Your Majesty!" the royal spiritual expert directly bowed to Pao-Lu.
"Spiritual beast?" reset Pao-Lu. Again a spiritual problem, he said in his heart. Even animals!
"For spiritual martial experts, the beast was useful for increasing abilities and speeding up their cultivation. To ordinary people, spiritual beasts could become shadow bodyguards," the royal spiritual expert explained enthusiastically. His gaze did not turn away from the little cat on Xi Xia's lap.
Pao-Lu is digesting the explanation of the spiritual expert placed in his palace as just a complementary pawn. Today was the first time the governor had asked about spiritual matters. To be honest personally, he did not really need a spiritual expert at all except as a means of control to incite the fanatics of the Yuoji people to cooperate. He has no interest in anything spiritual.
But even martial skills turned out to have a spiritual flow.
It seems that this spiritual problem is indeed so important to some people, Pao-Lu thought.
Ignoring his desire to blaspheme spiritual fanatics, Pao-Lu turns his attention to the entire room and finds everyone quite impressed. Then decide not to discuss this spiritual problem until it drags on.
Think of it as a magic show or acrobatics, he thought he would not take a headache.
Then let the other guests move forward.
A most lively dressed girl approached Xi Xia's throne with an exaggerated graceful gesture and seemed clearly contrived.
The daughter of a wealthy merchant who had recently purchased a noble title, Liu Xingsheng was not used to being ignored.
Hua Zu immediately filled. The man knew that he was the real target of the noble girl's attention.
Xi Xia also knew about it, and grinded his teeth.
It was a pity for Liu Xingsheng, because even Shin Wu could not tolerate his spoiled, noisy and vulgar demeanor. And it was a pity for the men, because the more they tried hard to avoid, the more vigorous the girl would chase after them.
Xi Xia cast a sour look at his brother. Lim Shin Wu's eyes danced as if to say, Now is a fun show!
Liu Xingsheng had just opened his mouth about to say something when suddenly there were noisy thumping noises outside the hall, followed by huffing cries, "There's an intruder!"
"He's out of the room Miss!"
Xi Xia's eyes spontaneously widened.
The whole room turned rowdy.
Shin Wu immediately rushed out followed by Hua Zu and his bodyguards.
The entire room held its breath as Hua Zu and his bodyguards shot towards the door in the speed of a comet.
Pao-Lu hasn't even blinked until his two mysterious guests pinch Shin Wu's arm to his left-right, bringing the commander down with them.
General Tio Jun followed shortly afterwards, followed by the son of the supreme judge, the two men also used the same super speed.
The whole room was again suffocating.
"Are they human?" some people are muttering.
Pao-Lu turned to his spiritual expert with a questioning look.
The man immediately bowed, "That's what spiritual martial arts skills mean, My Lord!" he said politely.
