CHAPTERS 18. HYPOCRITICAL COUSIN

While Grandpa Liam, Alfred and Anneke were having lunch together, a young woman suddenly came in wearing a summer dress from a famous designer. Limited edition branded bags, luxury watches from Paris and charming high heels that have just been launched with a very enticing limited edition.

Just a little glance at all the items that the woman was wearing, Anneke could already guess that it was Kaylee! Whynot? All the stuff Kaylee wears is hers! Anneke just realized now it turns out Kaylee is so sneaky! All this time he has been used by his cousin. How could he have been so stupid all this time?

The woman wore all the good stuff to accentuate her body to look dazzling and even planned to lure Noah Killian Arsenio. He only wears old clothes like a beggar on the side of the road! Given it all, there was pain in Anneke's heart. His hands clenched in anger.

He would not let the snake woman destroy his future! It won't! Is not heaven to give him a little mercy by turning time to time before all calamities occur? Yes, now he's back in time for destiny and all the mistakes he's done before.

“Oh….Kaylee..come home.” Grandpa Liam's voice sounds softly ask Kaylee to sit down immediately. “Sit here, surely you haven't eaten yet?”

“Sorry everyone..what....what am I interrupting?” Kaylee was a little stammered because she saw the woman who she hated that was already in the residence of Runako.

‘About whether he knew I knew he was in a coma but didn't come to see him?’ Kaylee thought a little about this possibility in her heart.

Usually Anneke would call her Kay or older sister but this time Anneke instead called her by her full name as if Kaylee was not part of the Runako family.

“Iya cousin sister, nice to meet you..” Kayle responds to Anneke's greeting by emphasizing the word ‘adik’.It was as if Kaylee wanted to remind Anneke that she was the oldest granddaughter in their family. 

Kaylee is the son of Grandpa Liam's adopted daughter, so she is not his biological granddaughter. It was for this reason that Kaylee had always been envious of the beautiful and perfect Anneke.

She can never be like Anneke, the granddaughter everyone loves! Moreover, Anneke is the heir of the Runako family who will later become the successor of the family company.

“Come...ayo...all meals. The food will be cold no longer!” liam's grandfather rushes to have everyone eat because he doesn't want Anneke to go hungry.

Seeing Grandpa Liam's affection for Anneke, Kaylee was envious and wanted to destroy the girl three years younger!

After the waiter gave her cutlery, Kaylee immediately wanted to pick up a piece of bacon but before her hand got there, Anneke said, “Grandfather, I heard that Kaylee is currently on a diet. He said he only ate green vegetables!”

Kaylee wants to answer ‘not’. But before he could answer, Anneke even showed his phone to Liam's grandfather. Right it was a Kaylee post that was showing off! A post that says he will only eat green vegetables all his life.

“Oh that's great Kaylee! Grandpa didn't know that you were now a vegetarian. Forgive the grandfather who forced you to eat.” while talking Grandpa Liam took out some dishes filled with vegetables and put them in front of Kaylee. Grandpa Liam is so excited! This is great because his grandson changed his healthy lifestyle!

‘Sayur? Just be right! It was the food he hated the most. And now he had to eat it, only with rice without other side dishes! This is terrible food!

“Thank you grandpa!” he said with a fake smile that Anneke could see. ‘Damn it! Why am I trapped like this? Aihhhh shit hell!’ the weakness in the heart.

Kaylee picked up the vegetable by slowly trying to put it in her mouth. He wanted to spit it all out but considering that he was not alone there he abandoned his intentions and desperately tried to eat the food in great distress. ‘

I can't fail! Later I can eat steaks and others in the restaurant!’ thought.

Yeah, he can't disappoint Grandpa Liam! Or, all his efforts to get recognition are in vain. While squinting her eyes, Kaylee looked extremely irritated.

This morning was a torture for him. Seeing the opponent in front of her being tormented, Anneke wanted to laugh out loud. Only vegetables...only vegetables.and it has made Kaylee feel tormented.

What more if she felt the same pain that Anneke had suffered? Can Kaylee endure it? Anneke smiled sweetly while covering up all the hatred in her heart. Not time! Slowly but surely he will begin his vengeance on his evil cousin!

A while later, while he was still enjoying some meat suddenly Grandfather Liam thrust out a gift. The gift was wrapped in a small pink package. The pink?

The color reminded Anneke of something! His memories bring him back to the future and the same events he has been through. Anneke was so happy!

Meanwhile, at the company Arsenio International Corp. behind a shiny work desk with some neatly arranged documents on it, Noah looks to be playing his gold pen that looks classy on his finger. Noah slightly remembered the incident earlier this morning, not just about the writing on the pink color paper that managed to boost his pride!

But also an empty closet as if it had been deliberately emptied by the owner and feminine toiletries in the bathroom. Did she really want to run away from him?

When did he leave the apartment? Did he already know of his return so he hurriedly packed up all his belongings and left the luxurious apartment?

That thought made Noah slightly raise one of his thick eyebrows. “Does that woman just want to bully me? There was no way that crazy woman was this brave!” Noah muttered softly with a cynical smile and sounded so sharp. Without Noah realizing behind the glass door of his office, Levi's assistant had already knocked on the door many times.

But not at all ignored by Noah who was deep in his mind. Levi tried to peek inside, he saw the sturdy figure of a Greek god who was daydreaming, something that his great boss had never done so far. Wait, is there something wrong with the company's stock?

Levi thought Noah was predicting the company's stock to decline, then swiftly Levi contacted someone.
