CHAPTER 39. AUCTION EVENT

At the venue of the auction event the atmosphere of Hotel Fleu’s was crowded with invited guests. This is an annual event held by the auction committee to raise funds to donate to education and health. This event is usually attended by officials in the government, business people and high-class people, and usually the event will be closed with dinner.

Each seat has been assigned a number according to the guest invitation number. VIP guests are placed in the first and second rows on the right, while the organizers sit in the first row on the left. After that the next seat order is only for ordinary guests. VIP guests are members or regular donors of the event.

She felt guilty, she should not have consented when Lady Mariam Arsenio chose that chair for them.

“No! Not that! It's---it's not a problem. Let's go in.” Anneke showed her invitation to the guards standing at the entrance. Then he stepped towards his chair without looking at Noah. At the same time, Noah was bowing his face and looked busy with his phone and did not pay attention to the surroundings.

Anneke had absolutely no interest in such things. He opened the booklet given to the guests, in the booklet containing information on what items will be auctioned at the beginning of the event. He was informed that there was a valuable item to be displayed at the top of the show later, Anneke felt interested in the item and waited.
