CHAPTER 53. WOUNDED

Anneker thrashed but was unable to escape Noah's embrace. Seeing that the man was not going to let go, Anneke seemed to have run out of ways however he would not be able to handle the strength of his opponent. Then what will he do now? Think..let's Anneke think of something to get away from this guy.

With both of his eyes narrowed and his brain kept thinking. After a few moments of silence, an idea came into his mind. Right, even though he was weak but didn't he still have very healthy and strong teeth?

It's great! He seems to have found a way out! Anneke said her smile began to launch the action she had just thought of.

He opened his mouth wide and then tiptoed and without warning immediately bit Noah's lower neck strongly! Despite being covered with her collar, Anneke's bite force penetrated Noah's shirt.

“AAAARRRRRKKK!” instantly the man screamed in pain while releasing his embrace. It coincides with the elevator doors opening.

Seeing her opponent off guard, Anneke used the opportunity to escape Noah and ran out of the elevator. He rushed to his study, closed the door and locked it.

Not how long ago there was a knocking sound but he ignored it. Before long, Levi's voice sounded anxious and worried.

Anneke can still hear it because she's disabling soundproofing out of curiosity about what's happening outside.

“Master, you're hurt!” levi said when he saw the white shirt Noah wore turned red on the top.

Anneke was a little afraid that Noah would run amok for his actions. But after a while no sound was heard from outside. Due to her curiosity Anneke stepped towards the door and opened it slightly.

He looks out but cannot see the whereabouts of Noah and Levi. A secretary approached Anneke about to provide documents to sign.

“Where is Noah and his assistant?” anneke asked to take the documents from her secretary's hand.

“Eh….Mr. Noah is in the lounge. Looks like he's seriously injured!” said the young woman.

“Oh! Yes, you can go back to work! Oh yes, prepare all the ingredients I need for the afternoon!” anneke said before closing the door. ‘Hazardly injured? Uh! Toggle!’ thought.

‘Here's too she's pretending! How could my bite have left him so badly injured? Am I a vampire? If you bite someone directly infected?’ whispered his heart put the documents on the table.

When he was about to sit down but broke his intention. He left his study and headed to the VIP lounge on the same floor as his study.

When Anneke got there he saw Noah treating his wound. His upper shirt had been buttoned open and his suit just thrown on the sofa. “Awwww...”.

Noah sounded a little complaining withstanding the pain from his neck that looked bluish red. At first glance the wound looks shaped like a crescent moon with small holes around it.

By looking at it, it can be ascertained if the small holes are the place where Anneke's teeth were stuck before. Seeing Noah's terrible wounds, guilt soon seeped into Annake's heart.

Really, he didn't mean to do such a crazy thing. It was just that he was so angry with Noah's attitude earlier. He was unable to digest what had happened to the man, so he only tried to break away as well as protect himself.

Wasn't his act natural? With that guilty feeling Anneke walked over to the direction Noah was. Then he sat on the sofa and held Noah's arm trying to apply the medicine on his neck.

Anneke even glared and did not expect that her bite would result in such an injury. He looked at Noah who was twitching both of his thick eyebrows while enduring the pain.

Anneke's heart felt increasingly guilty. “Noah, I didn't mean to hurt you. I was just..just shocked that you held me in front of everyone while we were divorced! I did not know that my bite marks would be like this.” he explained as he approached Noah and tried to remove the gaping wound on Noah's neck.

Seeing Anneke's silly actions, somehow made Noah more interested in punishing her in his way. This is the second time the woman has bitten him.

Some time ago the woman had bitten her lips until they were torn. Now that woman bit her neck into a hole, like a vampire's bite!

“Ehm. I'll call the doctor. Where's Levi? Why didn't he call the doctor for you?” Anneke was seen moving off the couch before she heard Noah speak.

“No need to call doctor!” he said firmly. He had deliberately told Levi to leave because he knew Anneke would feel guilty and look for her. And it turns out his guess was right! Doesn't that mean that woman still cares about him?

“Why? What if your wound is infected? Or....” Anneke tried to give understanding before finally his words were cut back by Noah with a very sharp look.

“Anneke, would you like to tell the whole world if you have committed domestic violence by biting your husband's neck?”

Noah is seen raising his tone which indicates he is a little angry because his dignity can be destroyed in front of the doctor who will examine him.

Of course Noah wouldn't let that happen! But that scar will also bring profit to him! He was thinking of something to avenge the woman's actions.

“No! Of course I didn't mean it that way. It's just that.the wound was huge. I'm worried that...” Anneke had not finished speaking yet but her words were cut back by Noah.

“You will be in charge of treating me until I recover!” Noah gave the order aloud as if he wanted to say that his order should not be rejected.

His order is inviolable and there is no room for negotiation.

“Iya...iya.....fine......fine.....I will treat your wound!” Anneke did not want to argue this time because it was she who caused the injury.

Soon Anneke took the P3K box from her secretary after she called and asked for it.

She had trouble sleeping until she finally got Anneke's silk pajamas left in the closet and hugged her until she fell asleep.
