CHAPTER 52. COME IN A HELICOPTER

After a while he slowly opened his eyes and grabbed the phone he placed on the nightstand. He saw his phone screen already showing at nine in the morning.

‘What? It's nine o'clock? ...Why did this happen anyway? I need to start disciplining myself from now on! I had to get used to waking up early with eyes that were still sleepy he sat on the bed and grabbed a glass filled with drinking water and drank it.

Her throat felt dry, Anneke rubbed both eyes with her hands. Anneke immediately went to the bathroom, she had promised her grandfather and father today. This was his first day of work and he had to get his first client today.

He quickly cleaned his body, because he was late to wake up he had to hurry now. He did not want to disappoint his grandfather and father. Anneke walked out of the bathroom in a state of innocence. After all, he was alone living in that apartment so it did not matter if he walked without wearing anything.

He opened the wardrobe and chose the clothes he would wear today. Her father invited Anneke to meet a client this afternoon, she had to look attractive. Isn't he now the CEO? Although her company was just pioneering, Anneke was determined to grow her business and make her parents proud.

In a hurry, Anneke left her apartment and when she arrived at the parking lot, she was waiting for Abner and his guards. “Good morning miss.” greet them.

“Sorry to have you waiting for me! I'm late waking up! Why didn't you wake me?” anneke asked Abner as she got into the car.

His assistant who heard Anneke's words was confused to answer.

“Why are you quiet? You should have woken me up, I was late, right?”

“But miss, I can't possibly go into the apartment and wake miss.”

“I didn't tell you to come into my apartment, you can call me?” Anneke murmur.

Abner did not answer and just remained silent. ‘Not that I've called her repeatedly? Did he not see his cell phone? What's wrong with him this morning?’ whispered Abner's heart while glancing at Anneke.

“Nona, are you okay?”

“Why do you ask that? Do I look bad? Pain?” anneke said coldly.

“Not so miss. You look fresh but a little somber. Not as happy as usual.”

“Ehm, I'm fine. Oh yes Abner can you arrange a blind date for me?”

“Hah?’ Abner opened his eyes. He looked at Anneke then said, “Serious? Wouldn't you like to focus on running a new company?” ask Abner.

“Not now! How about a weekend? Do you know someone who deserves to be my date?”

“I'll find miss! Do I have to discuss this with the Big Lady?” ask Abner again.

“No need! Grandma doesn't need to know about this. Whaddya think? It doesn't seem like a bad idea if I'm trying to establish a new relationship! Yes, just think of it to add friends and connections?”

“Yes, that's good too miss. I'll find a suitable candidate.”

“Good! If you find him, tell me soon, will you? Don't choose arbitrarily. I want a date with a man who exceeds Noah!” anneke said with a smile. It was time for her to make an argument with her ex-husband.

Noah's attitude that wanted her back made Anneke make an important decision. It's not that easy! After all Noah is the first guy he likes and he falls in love at first sight.

Isn't it natural that a woman falls in love a few times and feels a love affair like everyone else? She never knew what it was like to date and date before. But in life now, he wanted to feel it all!

How's the girl doing? Want it to feel like he called Nesha and asked her to meet but is the girl not angry with him anymore? Can they be friends like before?

Noah arrives at the company after he contacts Levi to rearrange his meeting schedule with his client. Noah again felt completely muddled from finding himself neglected by the woman! Even until this morning there was no news from Anneke for her. Several times he stared at the screen of his phone but there was not a single message from the woman.

I don't know why he was feeling nervous. Until finally the man known for his determination gave up! Today too he had to meet the woman and scold her. How dare the woman ignore him and not come to his apartment even the message he sent last night was not reciprocated. Anneke simply read the message and ignored it.

Without a second thought Noah told his assistant Levi to call his personal helicopter immediately! He wanted to surprise the woman by boarding his helicopter to go to the office. Indeed on top of his office building there is a special runway for his helicopter. Noah smiled as if he was planning something.

Within thirty minutes Noah had arrived with his helicopter on the roof of Anneke's building. Strong winds and the sound of propellers sent employees in the building rushing out to see what was happening. As they came out and looked up, they saw a helicopter that was directly above their office building.

The helicopter moved down making the people who were downstairs get out of the way and into the building. When the helicopter came down and landed in the front yard of the building, Noah stepped down from the helicopter with confidence.

Before the helicopter went down, an employee told Anneke what had happened. The woman left her study because she was curious. Abner followed him from behind and they saw a helicopter landing in the front yard of the building.

“What the fuck is this?” asked Anneke scrunched her forehead.

Noah came down and walked over to Anneke. Since then he has seen the woman walking hastily out of his office and staring at his helicopter. Seeing the man who got off the helicopter made Anneke also put on a sullen face.

‘What else did he want to come here? Was he intentionally showing off? Huh! I wouldn't be interested if he was carrying a private jet though.’

The employees who worked there glared at the handsome man. They recognized him because Noah was there yesterday and did something surprising. And this morning the handsome guy came by helicopter?

As the two faced each other, Noah smiled and handed Anneke a red velvet box.

“Good morning Anne! This is your gift today.” said Noah thrust the jewelry box to him.

Anneke was just silent and was about to turn her body but Noah had more quickly pulled her firmly until Anneke's body hit the chest of the man's field.

“Aduh!” Anneke grimaced as her forehead hit Noah's hard chest.

Without waiting for Noah to put the jewelry box in Anneke's hand.

“Starting today I will always decorate your day with little gifts from me!” said Noah.

“Sorry, but I don't need it! Please take back.” Anneke balked but Noah did not miss this opportunity and whispered in Anneke's ear while exhaling.

“Be nice. Look at everyone staring at us! Are you sure you don't want this gift?”

“Noah, I've told you many times, we have nothing to do anymore! So please stop bothering me. I want to live my life and be happy.”

“I'll make you happy.” Noah pulls Anneke into the office building. Anneke was about to rebel but when she saw everyone's eyes on her.

Finally, he could only hold back and be quiet. As the two entered the elevator, Abner wanted to enter as well but Noah immediately said, “Get the stairs!” then Noah closes the elevator door leaving Abner stumbling.
