CHAPTER 45. FIGURE OUT

This evening on a private plane heading to the city of M, Noah Arsenio seemed to be a little unconcentrated as his mind was distracted by something he had been thinking about ever since he read the information about Anne.

Every now and then he glanced at his sophisticated phone. He just kept staring at the screen of his phone, wanting to feel like he was calling someone whose number he had saved since last night.

As he turned his cell phone, he remembered the figure of the woman who had been his wife. Women with ugly faces and like scarecrows. For some reason since last night he always thought of the name of the woman and associated it with the name of the beautiful woman he had met. What exactly is the relationship between the two women? Why do they use the same family name?

Noah tried to close his eyes but his impulse continued to appear like a stream of water that could not be dammed anymore. This was something he had never experienced before. Then what should he do? Should he ask the woman directly? Or is he trying to contact the Runako family to find out the truth?

Alfred Runako had only one daughter, and no other daughter in the family except Kaylee, daughter of Marisa Runako! Kaylee's surname is not Runako but Akasha! Where did Anne Emanuel Runako come from?

Based on information obtained by his men, Anneke never boarded a plane on the day his grandmother said Anneke went abroad.

‘If Anneke never boarded a plane and left the country? Where did he go?’ thought. After they divorced, Noah was busy and did not find out again the whereabouts of his ex-wife.

With little hesitation, Noah decides to look up Anneke's phone number, which he got from his assistant.

Click! A message came into his phone. A message from the men he was assigned to find out about Anneke Lemuella Runako and Anne Emanuel Runako. Noah clicked on the incoming message and found a profile photo featuring a beautiful woman who instantly made his heart beat.

Seeing the profile picture made Noah immediately turn off his phone. One hand held his chest, at first glance he suspected that he had heart disease.

‘No! It can't be like this!’ Noah dumps the origin of his phone into the chair next to him. She was brushing her hair in frustration! What's the matter with him? Did he just have a heart attack? Did he just hallucinate?

After calming himself down, Noah then contacted his assistant to immediately call his personal doctor who specializes in family health care that he always takes flying with him.

Noah was sure there must be something wrong with his heart. Why was his heart beating so fast uncontrollably just from looking at a photograph?

Even he was asphyxiated because his heart was racing! No way! He must have read it wrong! Maybe his men tricked him and fooled him! Couldn't that ugly and stupid woman be the same person as Anne Emanuel Runako? How could that ugly woman possibly turn into an extraordinary beautiful female figure?

But Noah realized one thing, he recalled that when he was with Anneke for the first time they came face to face, he felt his heart beating like it was today. And the same thing he felt as he looked at Anne Emanuel the first time they met. Moreover, both of them had the same eyes.

After the plane landed, the doctor immediately conducted a heart examination according to Noah's orders. He prepared one by one the tools that were installed in Noah's chest to check his heart. But after fifteen minutes of examination, the doctor found no indication of any disease in his patient.

“Mr Arsenio, are you sure that you are experiencing a very strong heartbeat?” ask the doctor again to confirm the condition that Noah said earlier.

“Yes, the beat is very tight and makes me short of breath.” replied Noah seriously to the doctor who has now removed the examination tool from his body.

“If you may know, is there a certain condition when you experience it? Maybe when you were exercising or when you were feeling depressed and stressed because of work-” not to mention the doctor finished talking, he saw Noah thrusting his phone at him. Then Noah showed me a photo on his phone. This made the doctor frown in wonder.

For a while the doctor tried to guess what the heart beat had to do with a photo of a woman? Noah finally explained to her.

“My heart thumped as I looked at that person.” he said later. The doctor said he could not believe what he had just heard from Noah.

The doctor froze, not knowing what to say. His hands were still holding the heart recording device. Wait up! Is Mr Arsenio joking with him? Or is he intentionally impregnating? Sighing a long breath, the doctor finally found out what happened to this super special patient.

After Noah tidied his clothes back, the doctor rushed to write something and gave him a piece of paper. The paper contained a prescription to treat Noah's symptoms.

“What's your diagnosis?” asked Noah who was still curious about the condition of his body.

“Look sir, you actually have no problems or bad health conditions! Everything is fine!”

“What did you say? Be okay? Then what's your explanation of my pounding heart?”

“Ehm...it has nothing to do with Mr's illness! May I ask you something?” ask the doctor again. “For me to explain in more detail about your condition.”

“Yes! Just tell me what you want to ask?”

“Do you have any interest in the woman in the photo? If yes, then you are in love with that woman! Characteristics of people who fall in love, as you experience.” replied the doctor.

“How long have you been a doctor?” asked Noah in a cynical and sniffly tone.

“It has been twenty years Mr.” replied the doctor.

“I doubt your ability as a doctor! Your job is to check for disease!”

Noah was unhappy with the doctor's diagnosis. If the guess is correct that the two women are the same person? Was he in love with that woman?

Noah recalls the events of that night, when he bullied Anneke until she was frightened and crying. At that moment Noah felt his heart pounding and felt pain when he saw Anneke crying.

“I just told you the truth Sir! Usually, people who are in love will feel an abnormal heartbeat every time they meet their loved ones, even just hearing a voice, or looking at a photo can trigger it to happen!”

“So you think I'm in love?” Noah looked at the doctor sharply making the doctor was shriveled.
