CHAPTER 51. WAIT AROUND

After a tiring day with the inauguration of his new gallery and company. In the afternoon Anneke went to her apartment. He indulged himself with a warm bath filled with the foam of his favorite rose-scented soap. She loves the smell of roses! Right now his body felt very light and comfortable. As if there was no burden on him.

With a smile she came out of the bathroom and walked towards her dresser which was in that spacious room. Then he took out a golden box from his drawer containing a skin care cream made from diamond powder he had just bought. This beauty product is a product that she always uses at night.

Before he changed his appearance to be ugly, he always took care of his skin to keep it supple and fresh. But for the last two years he forgot all about it because he was busy chasing Noah. And now Anneke uses it again just to pamper herself and be happy. One by one he applied the cream to his face.

He massaged gently until he felt the nutrients from his face cream seep down into the skin, now he began to feel his pores feel fresh. It had been a long time since he had not enjoyed such a wonderful time like this. While listening to classical music, Anneke was so immersed in the rush of skin care that she forgot everything that happened today.

Including forgetting Noah who had been trying to persuade him all day. For the first time the man lowered his ego and relented to Anneke. Meanwhile, in Noah's luxury apartment, he looks unhappy. His heart was so riled up that Anneke rejected him so hard! She was too worried that Anneke would never return to her.

Noah doesn't believe Anneke doesn't love her anymore but he doesn't want to make her angry so he relents and doesn't force her to go home. This was Noah's first experience of persuading women and he felt this kind of confusion. What should he do to win his wife's heart?

The next day in front of Noah's company entrance, employees were seen queuing for their turn to do fingerprints for attendance as usual. Among them were several female employees who had stood in a queue waiting for their luck to be able to see and be glimpsed by the handsome CEO.

After waiting for a long time, Noah still did not come until the doorbell rang! They left while grunting in annoyance, and entered their respective rooms.

“Did Mr Noah not come yes today?” ask a woman in gray to the woman in red next to her.

“I heard yesterday Mr. Noah attended the inauguration of the gallery and the company opposite it! He even had time to call the woman as his beloved wife.” said the woman in red clothes that immediately made her friend more curious.

There was news of the inauguration yesterday, clearly visible Anneke's face in the photo. In the other photo appears Noah hugging Anneke's waist with affection.

“Beauty right? They look so good! And I heard that woman was a painter! How about lunchtime we visit the gallery?”

“Cih! I don't like paintings! It's boring! What the hell is that woman? She's got a pretty face and she could have married Noah for a business wedding, right? The top guys are used to doing that!”

“How did you know about that?” the woman in red was curious how her friend could find out about Noah's business marriage.

“You saw that Mr. Noah's secretaries were discussing there and I accidentally heard it. They were talking about the woman you said his wife was.” replied the woman in grey while pointing at the crowd.

The women looked towards the male secretaries who were seriously discussing. Apparently their desire today to see the CEO did not materialize because reportedly there is a possibility that the CEO spent his day with his mysterious wife. Ah, they have failed today and now they cannot hope to be beside Noah unless they become his lover.

While inside the large room that was still covered in curtains in Noah's luxurious apartment, the atmosphere looked calm and peaceful. Noah was still lying on his big bed, he had just fallen asleep by morning. She had trouble sleeping last night because thinking about Anneke, regret and guilt made her mind go awry.

The sound of subtle breaths still drowning in dreamland. Noah fell asleep and did not realize that the day was light. After a while there was still no movement from the elegant bed designed specifically by Miller's designer. Until finally the sound of a vague alarm broke the silence that had dominated the room.

Noah pulled out his hand from the blanket and groped the nightstand next to his bed with his eyes still tightly closed. It felt very difficult for him to wake up from the comfort he was feeling this morning. Unfortunately that comfort was interrupted by the sound of the alarm he set because he had a meeting with his client this morning.

While in Anneke's apartment, the woman was still lazy in bed. The night after she finished her skincare ritual she contacted her grandfather and father to ask him some things related to the project she might be able to get. Anneke recalled in her previous life, she was so useless.
